This afternoon, someone fed me with Scarry information that I shouldn't wait up to 50days before I travel. That patata 40 to 45days. His insinuation is that the company that sponsor the visa may cancell it if more than 45days. How true is the information pls?

You didn't specify the type of Visa. They all have different deadlines.

I don't know if it is still possible....but back then, Yes provided the Ministry of Education in Nigeria and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria has already attested to it. Note, the Embassy of Nigeria in UAE can do the part of Ministry of Foreign Affairs. You may need to visit Ministry of Foreign Affairs of UAE to confirm.

Yes. If you have a degree already....don't bother with O'levels at all unless too much money is worrying you. Note, you have to attest the eligibility letter from Ministry of Education.

I don't understand. Same way you get Tourist Visa nah. And no....Someone on tourist visa cannot get an Emirate ID or permit. You will have to explore other visa options. i.e Work Visa, Business Visa or Freelance Visa.

True. This is another way. He or She can exit via Sharjah and re-enter via Sharjah. Getting paid for his or her services on the other hand is up in the sky. And accessing services in UAE without emirate ID is up in the sky is another one.

Sorry to bust your bubble. Nothing like personal side hustle in UAE without being employed by a firm in UAE. Unless you get a job...a time based job that doesn't conflict with your hustle ambition. You just can't flew in and start doing your thing unless you want to go for the freelance visa discussed earlier.

You don't have to pay any agent. It is your choice. Read the thread. Paying an agent may actually land you job faster or not. Or not at all. Read the thread. Paying an agent is a choice. Not a must.

If you calculate hotel bills....calculate for how many days you will be there in the hotel. Check hotels around your choice of destination in UAE. Use google. It will give you a quick estimate of your hotel costs.

As I said...read the thread. You didn't factor in feeding, transport, making copies of your documents, calling, internet e.t.c.

Four days visa cannot work. Forget it.Even if you see work on your very first day on your four days visa....The process for your permit takes a minimum of a week. While you resident permit is being processed, you need to still have a existing valid tourist visa. Otherwise, you will have to ether leave the UAE and return when the resident permit is out OR pay fine for the excess overstay.

No try four days visa with the hope of work oh.

You can teach any subject(If you have the qualifications and skill) provided the mode of communication in the said school is English. Teaching experience? Very great. Gives you immense leg up in UAE. As for certifications...I don't know because I am not in the teaching field. You will have to find out yourself....some several pages back, I read of a teacher talking about a job she got and a certification(I am sure they will be others I missed) so read up. As for money needed...I can't say o! It strongly depends on many factors i.e You could get a direct employment which will reduce your expense significantly or use the visit option which can coast your expense all the way up. And expenses varies from individuals. Read the thread and form an opinion on what you might need. From me to you....let your launchpad start from 600K(this includes running around in Nigeria getting everything set. Excludes expenses you will incur when you get there).

Which is better between UAE and Turkey? That is a vague question. But I bet you are asking in regards to employment opportunities. I have not been to Turkey. I think UAE might be a better launchpad for you.

I wish there is a specific page I could refer you to. None. All pages are filled with amazing first person perspective issues of life in UAE. Trust me in this...you need it.

Do they employ blacks? Yes. They employ anybody that has capability to work. Do they select other races over blacks? Sometimes, if the other race has better credentials or knowledge over the black person. Lest I forget, some other nationalities prefer hiring only their own so as a person of any other nationality whether white, brown or black...just forget it.

Do they treat blacks well? It depends on your employer just like every other place where employers are....they are good employers and bad employers. You see why I said you should read from the beginning? Some pages have people narrating their journey over here. Some good, some great, some bad. And few downright ugly.

For jobs related to animal science. I don’t know. Not familiar with that sector. I know the chicken whey we chop is not falling from heaven sha and not all imported frozen stock.

As for teaching. It is very much available. Especially if you come into the country at a good time. i.e late August till October. You will see loads of opportunities in schools with fair pay.

As far what you can do....it is you that know your field and what other fields you can quickly tap in.

Age is on your side. As for savings....well you are getting there. You will need more sha or you have a realiable helper in UAE.

How do you get reseident permit? You get a job. The employer will do the needful for your permit.

Is this a new rule? I was there three weeks back....and I didn't experience such. Please clarify. Only the WAEC certificate was needed if you want attest your Bsc. And, nobody asked further questions about any testimonals. Got First Leaving, WAEC, Bsc and Eligibility letter.

At the Ministry of Education in Nigeria. Yes. Every other place? Nope. Unless you want to.

But I was asked by the agent to go and put stamp on my passport at the embassy at once, once I received it.
Can I asked the same person to stamp it on my behalf? Will they stamp it for him?

And by the way, is it the passport I'm going to put stamp on or the visa itself?

And also my passport is still a virgin, what should I expect before travelling?

You need to clarify on that part very well. I honestly understand the word "Stamp" and what actually stamping...Your Passport? Your PCC? Other documents? Or Visa(Which I have never heard of) unless you referring to putting of Visa on your passport.

Oga...Relax. Many have come before you saying no money was involved till after the Visa and at the end of the day; na tears end am. So don't take too much offense if people are skeptical. You just need to convince people better. It doesn't help that you sometimes ago seem you were asking for how to go about it.....then turn around to say you are a value provider on employment visa. You sef reason am now.

You tried to PM me...I will just answer your question over here so as to help out someone else in your shoes.

Go to page 484 of this thread. I made a post in regards to how you can get the form. I attached the form to my post. Download it and fill it. After filling it, thumbprint(make sure you capture your full finger not just the top part edge of your finger) it, attach a passport photograph to it. A copy of your International passport datapage as well. DHL it to someone in Lagos. The person takes it to State CID, Alagbon. They charge from 5K to infinity depending on whom attends to you. Those will work on it and stamp it and issue the PCC.

Now, send it to Abuja. At Abuja, you need to take it to Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Authentication. Total Cost is 600naira at Ministry of Foreign affairs. After that, take it to UAE embassy in Abuja, for attestation. This will cost you 36,000 naira. The person DHL it back to you.

Enter bus/plane going to Abuja. When you get there....take drop to Ministry of Foreign affairs to authenticate your PCC. It will cost you 600 naira as of this typing. When done....Take the document to UAE embassy for attestation. It will cost you 36,000 to do both the PCC and the bio-metric page. The end.

Are they people that specialize? Most likely...Some will surely hit your inbox.

Any document that is going to any embassy in Nigeria or outside the shores of Nigeria has to be signed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Otherwise, your certs/document is just mere paper to them.

If you go the scanned route option.....

When sending back the scanned version...note, let them attach a physical copy of your passport photograph to the scanned form instead of scanning the passport photograph along with the form.

I am really sorry if I came out sounding angry. I didn't mean to. I just wanted to push the message out myself so that people will know. The biometric data page was not necessary before and depending on who files for it....still not necessary. It is just that....going forward it will/may be asked.

Pls where did you get this info from?. People that did attestation when they attested only the certificate and recently secured a job were not asked to attest the biometric page at the Embassy also. Please I will need u to explain better how u got this info. #justasking

You can ask the embassy. And the Ministry of Interior.

If you carefully read my replies. I didn't say all whom previously did it are doing it wrong. I said that is the new rule book they have silently started using. Don't worry...we will soon stay hearing stories that touch the bumbum.

You don't need to believe me. Just go confirm at the UAE embassy in Nigeria or Ministry of Interior in UAE. Not a big deal.

Please are you in UAE now because they only require only the attested certificate not the fingerprint form but I stand to be corrected from those people that are in UAE now and their employers ask for the attested fingerprint

It is the Ministry of Interior decision not your employer's decision. So if your employer only collects only the PCC certificate from you, they can be told to ask for the biometric part as well. So you are at the mercy of the staff and policies of the Ministry of Interior Affairs.

Well, To some extent....the two is now required to be attested to. Anyone that did only the certificate and not the biometric part previously will still be asked to go do the attestation. On the plus side for them....they can do it at MOFAIC in UAE there for almost the same amount of money. Provided that biometric pages carries Ministry of Foreign Affairs(Nigeria) Authentication. If not...OYO. You will have to DHL it back to Nigeria to do it. The lucky ones are the ones that go thru the stress of doing the two right now.
