Numbed Four: Opportunities:

Truth be told, if you can adapt to Kano way of living I. e living in a Muslim community, if you can also stay away from home, the Kano can be a home far away from home. in my last post , someone asked me to compare Kahuna with Kano, the I haven't been to Kaduna , I just passed it. But I took time for the purpose of this post to go down to Kaduna and make a good finding, and I can tell you that Kano beats Kaduna hands-down.

Kano Is a big city home to most companies including dangote , there are diverse product in Kano than in other part of the country, there are companies, schools, hospitals, institutions in Kano. take a walk round Kano, submit your CVs and you will surely be called.

Apart from that, the business life in Kano is another advantage, they are about 3 million persons in Kano and as such a large market. if you have business mindset, am sure you will make money here in Kano. I have Corp members who import things from east and west and sell it in Kano. Also, you can learn many things, sewing, decorations etc in Kano almost free of charge. I don't know How else to talk about this, when you come, I think it will be so obvious.

Think about this, you can move things from Kano down to east or west, you can do many things. Just think of what you want. think of life after NYSC, just meditate on all these things. Kano is a fertile ground for you. yes you

OP write what you know, you have not lived in kaduna to write not good things about it. I was born and brought up in Kaduna, I served in Kano 7 years ago. Funny enough I have families in these two states but I can tell you that Kaduna is more safer than Kano. Stop the hype about kano. I knew how my friends (who came while I was passing out) who lived in a lodge meant for corp members in Taurani L.G ran helter skelter during the 2011 election violence. Even my uncle who lives there always look for a safe place when it's crises. I lived in kaduna till I was 25 before leaving to Lagos and from Lagos to Eastern Europe to further my studies. Never for one day did my family and I ran helter-skelter during crises. As I write, my family members are still living in kaduna and Kano and the difference is clear.

So Mr OP write what you know.

Religion / Re: 7 Types Of People That didn't Go To Church Today by beautyerhu86(f): 6:49pm On Jul 31, 2016
Dotwillis1:
One of the points below should be the reason you won't see some people in church today...

1. The lazy heads- these ones will feel reluctant to get up from their bed. They will spend hours staring at their chores without touching 'em, and then jump in bed again to relax or press phone. They start to take their bath at the closing hour of the service.

2. The rough'ians - they gat lots of dirty cloths piled up and failed to watch during the weekend. They wk up this morning to remeber today is sunday and start looking for what to put on and then you see them pack their cloth outside to wash when they ought to be in church.

3. Hangover victim- went to party last night, drank lots of alcohol mixtures and then walked home with their head. Now they find it difficult to get up from bed.

4.the ones with no offering - the feeling that people will be staring at them during the offering time, if they sit back while others dance to drop theirs, will discourage them from going to church.

5. the ones who traveled all the way to greet their bf/gf during the weekend and still want to continue from where they stopped last night wink

6. those who got hit by the last sunday's sermon and felt ashamed like the pastor was refering to them directly.

Better go to church and turn a new life grin

7. the ones whose working days exceeds 5 days. People like lalasticlala who work every sec. that counts to make 7days. I'm sure he goes to church tho. grin

Tell us why you won't be in church today if you didn't fall into any of the categories

*

Will going to church take you to heaven? Meanwhile don't forget to watch ohhhh sorry wash your clothes before next week Sunday.
Webmasters / Re: A Month And Two Weeks Into Blogging:- My Experience by beautyerhu86(f): 8:57am On Jul 29, 2016
macquis:
My names are Macquis Michelangelo Udochukwu and am a music Blogger.
Blarckbillboard a blog I started with the assistance of a friend and partner (Joshua) came into being on the 11th day of June 2016. In other words, the blog is barely two months old.

Being a music addict and a lover of literature I carefully thought of inventing a channel through which I could connect with music lovers as myself and most importantly contribute my quota to the growth of the Nigerian music industry. At that period in time in the year 2014 I conceived the whole music blogging idea. Though the idea of starting a music blog had been birthed in the year 2014, I never considered materializing the idea until after my service year in 2016.

My blogging experience so far ?

Blogging is quite difficult and time consuming, except you are nothing more than a plagiarist blogger.
Considering my blogging nitch the stress and difficulty is even doubled. Blarckbillboard most importantly deals with music news and reviews, and you will agree with me that the music industry both locally and internationally is always buzzing with one news update or the other.

Understanding the way things work in the media and blogosphere, the experienced news blogger strives to have a particular breaking news published on his/her blog first. If the news is hot enough, with adequate promotion of the blog post it could fetch the blog a lot of traffic. So I’ve had to constantly source for hot music news, rewrite them before publishing; write a detailed review on a new hit single; announce an upcoming music event and above all promote my blog posts on every available social media. Consequently, I’ve had to blog everyday, either in the sense of writing a new post or promoting one of my already published blog post, in other to make my baby-blog relevant to readers.

I recall nights when I’ve had to sleep for just 2 hrs owing to my sourcing for fresh music news to publish on the blog, and during the day spending long hours in a particular sitting position rewriting or typing a new post. The few hours I put into sleeping and relaxing my body both during the day and night began to take its toll on me as I fell ill few weeks into blogging. But my broken body wasn’t going to discourage me from pressing on. Even when the daily results I got paled in comparison to the hardwork and dedication I was putting into blogging.

Is my Blog being Successful ?

According to one source: “There are more than 164 million blogs… Most of these blogs get less than 1,000 visitors per month, and the harsh reality is, the majority of those blogs are, for lack of a better word, failures”.

Well, judging my blog’s success in the light of
Linda ikeji’s blog success from a traffic perspective would definitely spark up depression within me and kill my blogging drive, so I don’t ever make such insane comparisons. The problem with most newbie bloggers is that they make the mistake of comparing the traffic of their baby blogs with that of older blogs or bigger blogs. It’s no wonder most individuals who kick off a career in blogging throw in the towel 2 – 3 months into blogging. I have also understood that blogging success doesn’t come overnight and there is certainly hardwork that needs to be put in to eventually bring success.

As for my baby-blog’s traffic I’ve had great days when I got over a hundred visitors, days when I recorded between 5-8 visitors, and even days I recorded no visitor or reader at all, terrible days. The pressure builds up to the point whereby you continue to look at your blog stats to see if anybody has visited your blog. Such days alone were enough to make me quit blogging but my passion and interest in music has been the anchor holding me fast and keeping me from falling. The process of writing a blog post, editing, adding pictures and then proof reading is definitely time consuming! Not to talk of the longer minutes one has to spend publishing a single post in a country like Nigeria due to bad network. And so to feel that no one has read your post apart from yourself is undeniably quite upsetting.

During down times and periods I’ve considered quitting blogging, God has somehow always sent an angel in the guise of friends Felix Brambaiyefa, Idris Aliyu and Otosirieze Obi-Young. Their words of encouragement have been my strength and kept me going. The success stories of established bloggers have also been a source of inspiration and motivation for me.

As a newbie Blogger I’ve learnt that pressure will always remain as you want to do well and have people read and benefit from your blog. That is the reason you blog in the first place, so people read it and comment on your opinions and thoughts and so I try to reassure myself that people will come, and that I need to promote my blog more and not give up easily. I also tell myself that regardless of the Nigerian blogosphere being overly crowded, everyone has their position and followers, and if I work hard enough, make my blog posts more unique and stay focused on achieving my goals, I on the long-run will definitely establish myself as one of the most successful music bloggers in Africa.

Food / What Nigerians Don't Know About Orobo Chicken by beautyerhu86(f): 7:37am On Jul 15, 2016
Moderators, I know none of my write up has ever made front page but please see to it that this makes front page. This is just a piece of advice to Nigerians. The rate of cancer is high and we all need to be healthy.

Dear Nigerians, do you really know what is behind the Orobo chicken? Sometimes I wonder why we should be buying frozen chicken when we have different species of fowls and chickens in Nigeria. It's high time we make use of what we have.
I was born and brought up in Kaduna but my first time of eating frozen chicken was when I left kaduna to school and seek greener pastures in other parts of Nigeria. That's because my mum reared chickens, Turkeys and goats (all of different species). Besides that, almost every family in the North usually rear animals of different species. If you can't rear birds, you will definitely get the strong live ones in the market to buy, and if you can't kill it, the person you are buying it from will direct you to who will kill it for you and even pieces it. That's the advantage of Northern Nigeria when it comes to rearing of animals. Even here in Moscow, most of the Russians know the exact chicken to buy. For me and some of the fellow students here, we go for the hard chicken. I can't imagine myself buying these fat chickens.
Nigerians, please value your health. You see the whites importing these chickens to us are very cunning and don't eat it. This is fraud as far as I am concerned.

See the pics and watch the video below.

A word is enough for the wise!!

This is what happens when money is used to buy a throne that rightfully belongs to the elder. Yorubas, I owe you no apology when I say that what you have have isn't a king but just a tourist. A king sits in his palace to welcome guests and settles matters but in this case, this one competes with Buhari. The only difference is that this one does Local league while Buhari does International league

Religion / RCCG Releases Public Notice by beautyerhu86(f): 8:13am On Jun 07, 2016
After reading this https://www.nairaland.com/3150426/rccg-refutes-sacrificial-offering-story this morning. I put it to the poster that his update is a lie and Adeboye didn't release such statement.
After that their so called poster was released to social media yesterday, the church council had no option but to release this particular General public notice.

Please push this to front page so that people will see.
Nigerians stop being gullible. Read your Bible and stop worshipping your pastor.

Some people can vouch for these church pastors that they are saints and can't stoop so low. But have you forgotten the case of Pasuma who was invited to a church program by the same RCCG and the said pastor was suspended.

Politics / Re: Atiku Abubakar At His Daughter, Hasfat's Graduation by beautyerhu86(f): 7:51am On Jun 04, 2016
HungerBAD:
A good move Atiku, and congratulations to your daughter.

If you can afford to send your kids outside Nigeria for Schooling, then please do it. Every Year the Federal Government releases Billions of Naira to our Higher institutions, and what do they do with it?they squander it, and if the Government wants to hold them accountable, some placards carrying people will start holding rallies with the cries "LEAVE OUR BROTHER/SISTER ALONE"

UNN comes to mind.

Look at Auchi Poly? For asking them to pay their School fees by the Authority, they went into full rampage and burnt more than 100 cars, and properties worth Millions destroyed.

In ABSU not long ago, two students were beheaded and their heads used as goalpost, which parents in their normal minds would want to send their wards there?

Getting it right in the Educational Sector, is a collective responsibility of the Nigerian Citizenry, and not just the Government.

Some what happens to his own school? Can't his children school there?
