Human right lawyers in the house should rise-up to this young man's defense. If truly he's granted bail Gov. Amosun has no locus standing under Nigerian law to effect otherwise.

How come he is being paraded in hand-cuffs as if he is Saraki that is alleged to have stolen Billions of Naira.

The Federal Government better wade into incessant misappropriation of power by State Governors. Saraki and likes are stealing and walking shoulder-high while an accused young-man is being treated as criminal without any pronouncement by the court. Interestingly TVC has not deemed it fit to air this trial live.

This is not the change we want. Actions like this are just sowing seeds for future youth revolt against the high and mighty.
so u advocate for FOI in this case but u desires arrest of nnamdi kalu. u are a hypocrite

Who appointed her? She can be sacked just as she was appointed!

She must NOT be allowed to finish her term. She deliberately disgraced Nigeria, and she must be made to exit in shame.

what are u waiting? do the needful! she should have woke sleeping president up from sleep. Buhari has nothing to offer and has flopped. ugwu should have appointed minister of external affairs and minister of foreign affairs to do their jobs.

Elders of the North have said they would not allow the south west to humiliate Bukola Saraki for no reasons.

The elders, under the auspices of the Northern Elders Forum, said although they regard Senate President Bukola Saraki’s election as constitutional even though it was against the interest of the ruling party, they would not allow Tinubus selfish interest to take over the senate presidency happen.

Also, a Second Republic lawmaker and Convener of the Coalition of Northern Politicians, Academics, Professionals and Businessmen, Dr. Junaid Mohammed, stated that such intervention would be act of war between the West and the North.

OP ur write up is another article that heat up the polity. did u allot the shops free of charge? is it not a source of revenue to the egbeda govt and state at large? are they not paying their security dues? despite the fact that u talk of security, are there no cases of breaking shops? go to hell with ur tribalistic article. ur brothers whose only source of livelihood is driving in abia state where given free hand to the extent they have started cloning drivers license and forging of vehicle particulars. are they not accomodated? did any yoruba man has house in the east? are they not leaving in a house built by another man who collects rents and did not beat their chest of accomodating yoruba? are yoruba drivers not formenting problems in abia motor parks that is being settled internally without bringing it to nairaland? when did aspiring to be market chairman become a problem? well its only in yorubaland that voting or aspiring to be voted by non-indigen is a crime.

Crude and unrefined lie. (1) the woman is not stupid to drag road with governors convoy at the blaring of siren. (2) how on earth will it take escort vehice 5 minutes to stop the vehice considering the fact that escort vehicles are always on top speed? (3) if the governor is compasionate enough, he wouldnt have handed the lady to police. He could have cautioned her and ask her to go.

Adminisher:

This is bad first Ibos. The Nigerian project favours them because they can sell their imported goods to a large market of 170 million people . Now there is nobody to sell to but barely 25million. The only reason for NAFTA, ECOWAS and EU is that larger markets are best in terms of combined GDP and scale economics. The East on its own is very unviable. It will be a landlocked, entity bordered by the Niger Delta, Cameroon, North East, Edo and Delta. All tribes in Nigeria have business skills, Dangote is from the North, Atiku has factories producing everything from pure water to cooking oil. Yorubas are Lords of the FMCG and other sectors. In the 70s Hausas had commercial enclaves in Lagos near Apapa, Ibadan , Old PH town and other places, these enclaves will now grow and multiply. I still don't know why people think this move East is good for Ibos.
ur analysis does not hold water. that they want to establish a market home does not mean the are quitting their current business areas. being a wealthy man does not translate to business ideas. atiku and dangote will only trade on what they have the ideas. are u not a hypocrite to discourage the same people u asked to develop their place. at times i assume u and ur people are reasoning with ur anus. if u talk about business ideas, igbos have it more than any tribe in nigeria so allow them to do their thing their way. but who told u igbos dont produce? remove igbo busineses both production, warehousing and retail outlets, transportation and see how lagos will look like. cry for ur people not for igbos.

http://www.punchng.com/business/money/jp-morgan-emefiele-defends-cbn-policiessays-i-dont-know-what-the-issues-are/

The central bank governor, whose protectionist policies and management of the foreign exchange rate has alarmed analysts, said that dollar demand was still being met, although traders say liquidity has dried up.

The country’s ejection from the GBI-EM index late on Tuesday has already triggered outflows from the $2bn of local bonds the index tracks. Nigeria’s bond market regulator imposed a new spread limit on Thursday, reports said. By mid-morning on Thursday, the domestic stock market had slid nearly 3 percent to hit the biggest two-day decline in eight months.

China has been roiling global markets as its leaders try to stop a huge stock bubble from bursting and its economy from stalling

With Brent crude below $45 a barrel, “the last thing Nigeria needed was exclusion” from the index, the Chief Africa Economist at Standard Chartered Bank, Ms. Razia Khan, said.

Nigeria will be ineligible for next re-entry for 12 months. “This could well be the crunch time, because it’s when Nigeria most needs its access to markets, external borrowing, and foreign capital,” Khan added.

Some investors voiced concerns on Thursday that Nigeria could also be removed from the MSCI frontier index. But investors say the bond and equity markets sell-off is of less concern than the underlying reasons JPMorgan removed Nigeria from the index three years after the country’s inclusion boosted confidence in it as an investment destination.

The US bank cited tight capital controls introduced by the Nigerian central bank to prop up the naira as one reason for its decision. The naira officially trades near the central bank pegged rate of 197 to the dollar but on the black market has hit 240 to the dollar in recent months. On Wednesday, the naira firmed slightly to 221 to the dollar.

The protectionist policies of Emefiele and his refusal to devalue the naira again — it has already been devalued twice in the past year — have alarmed observers, as has the lack of action taken by Buhari.

“Nigeria needs to acknowledge that oil prices have fallen and that prices, including the FX, must adjust accordingly, even if it hurts in the short term. This is vastly preferable to entering a heterodox system that creates perverse incentives and results in permanent and ever-worsening distortions,” the Head of Research at Ashmore, an emerging markets-focused asset manager, Jan Dehn, said.

Where is Buhari? Is he in control of economic policy at all?”
ALMIGHTY CHUKWU ABIAMA have started answering the prayers and cry of BIAFRANS by hitting nigeria real hard with this ecomomic mess and disgrace. Nigeria is not the only african country exporting crude oil , why is theirs in this sorry state?
