Very hard decision to make...Migration has actually broken more homes than we think, anyways if you are willing to do low jobs for a while and lead a peaceful life with your family, I subscribe you come to join us here in Finland. You can start low and build yourself within a short time, as far as you are hardworking. I know of a Kenyan couple here who have five cleaning jobs between them and have a palace of a home back in Kenya, they are still here to grab the last Euros before settling back home....Life is what you make of it Sir.

how did you migrate with your family to finland or rather how did you get your Finland visa. please share more information on this? you mean the only jobs migrants do over there is cleaning jobs?

followed this thread religiously and we have already applied for a family of 5, if I had gone through this posts earlier I would ve told my hubby to hold on so he won't spend his money, our interview date is 5th of December and we are applying as a family , family of 5. hubby has been denied twice and I have been denied once .we applied after our wedding 6years ago to spend the honeymoon in US but the didnt grant us .hubby applied alone to attend a conference last year but he still got denied despite having invitation letter .now we are applying as a family to spend the Christmas break .
hubby is self employed, stayed in UAE while I stay in Nig with the kids ,we hope to celebrate this Christmas in the US , please nairalander what are the chances of we getting the visa considering our previous denial ?how much is expecting of us to have in our bank account ?we intend spending 9days

Reminds me of one incident that happened May 24 1997. Till this date I remain confused. I got back from work as usual in Ikotun, Lagos only to find people gather in front of my gate. Others were upstairs at the balcony condoling my landlady. News reached my outlandish self that my landlord had passed on earlier. He died of natural causes in his car.

So at 14 years of age you haven't perfected the act of crossing a road? Back then in primary school around 1978, I lived at isheri while my school was at liasu road. Anybody familiar with Lagos will have to realise you have to cross that deadly express at isheri before getting to council bus stop. Me and my squad so much perfected it we could cross that road blind folded. During weekends , we retire to the middle of that express to sell groceries. Nothing happened to us, we never died. Its a pity and I feel so sad this generation of kids are weak hearted, over pampered and feeble not to even know how to cross a road properly at the ripe age of 14.

yes ,I went to neck office ,told them the year of the examination and center where I wrote the exams ..they extracted the rest details for me , I bought a scratch card from them and I printed another result ..they gave me my center number and examination number with the use of my full name and name of the school where I had written the examination that year

studied accounting , he is a business man ,into sales of cars, cargo and logistics . registered with CAC and also into company partnership in the UAE , based in UAE and also do come to Nigeria for his business, He wish to relocate too so I don't know which category he falls in .

Hello, please kindly attend to this question. I have been reading this thread for some time now. I must confess it's a bit diffcult to understand somethings. And I haven't come across anyone with a case like mine. I studied a 4year course (sociology and anthrpology) in a state university and I work as a sales and marketing rep in an oil and gas company which is not related to my field of study. Will my job contradict my course of study during assessment? On the other hand, am also a fashion designer. I saw it on the list of occupations. Can i choose it if the demand is not high and how can I get supporting document since I am self employed in that angle. So sorry for the long post.

we are on same path , studied sociology and anthropology ,worked in my husband's company for 2years before I went for a diploma course in fashion designer , I work for myself and no bank payment since my clients pays in cash and direct though i have CAC license but no tax payment ..hubby wants me to stand as the principal applicant cos of my skilled occupation. oga dey fear to write any exams .Infact I'm confused
