Romance / Re: How Do Guys Cope With More Than One Partner? by bibigirl07: 9:50am On Oct 02, 2012
acidtalk: @190, you are correct.

I am a very bad liar. Once I try to lie, I will give up instantly. Also I don't know how to be sneaky. I drop my phones anywhere and anyhow. I just threaten to get annoyed with my girlfriend if she picks up my phone but she knows its only a mere threat.

I missed 3 solid dates within the past one week because she saw my BBM chat and the scheduled time of the different dates.

Also I spend heavily on my woman so I don't think I have excess to spend on a second and third.

All these are the reasons why it quite difficult for me to double date.

Most of my flings even always end up being my Ex, female friends or people who confess their crush on me. It is always stressful starting up a new relationship when I am already in one.
U sound like an ideal bf oh! Oya come ‎Ãήϑ spend on me abeg! Enuf pervian hair tinz

Is it wrong to stand up for one's right in this Country? If this had happened in Countries that valued their citizen, we would be screaming Yes! Yes!! Isn't it high time for us to start speaking out when Corporations ‎Ãήϑ So called Agencies trample on our rights? Omojuwa is standing up for millions of Nigerians that have been boxed to a corner just because they Cannot speak up. Arik air should be sued for this, big time(that's if they've nt been sued already) this siddon look stance of Nigerians should stop. Let's all begin to stand up for our rights ‎Ãήϑ see if this Nation will not rise from the shackles we roped ourselves into.

shymexx: When I said 99% of the female posters on NL are not intellectuals/intelligent, a couple of people thought I was being cocky... undecided undecided

Most of the female posters on NL say things, I already know - we need some intelligent women on this forum... I visit a lot of forums and I see women hold their own in different subject matter - from politics, culture, foreign policy, military hardware, to sports. However, I'm yet to see that on NL, except last week when I saw Desola's back and forth with Gbawe. It's just shameful that most of the women on here only talk about celebrities, family, and romance - who cares about that??

I need some women up in here to stimulate me intellectually!!!

PS: Not kobojunkie's type of intelligence(pseudo-intellectual) - that thing just argues blindly with the same insane rhetorical crap... We need some female critical thinkers!!

Taking you up on that! If u need stimulation, go connect ur body to electricity.

hardbody: I have tons of these brain wrackers in a compendium of Logic texts, although it is in soft copy. Any interested NLander can send an email and I will send a copy to them. Although I must confess I never read beyond the first few pages. Fortunately I am gainfully employed and so would not b needing those question and answer sessions. Before I forget, Accenture embarrassed me with one of those questions way back in time, I felt very stupid when I got home and realized I goofed.

omodapson: Da Vinci code that ridiculed Christianity was produced and even showed in cinemas around the world, no single arms was raised. The worst that happened were intellectual campaigns/debate and nothing more.

Why can't people allow God to fight His battle himself? This is annoying... and to think that innocents are the target... cry

A religion that feels threatened at the mere mention of their leader is a testament to the shaky foundations of that religion. A christian would Never carry arms to "defend" christianity. There is absolutely no need to. No human action such as a film or documentary can threaten christianity which is God's own religion. If islam is threatened by that movie...geez! They've got bigger issues than we give them credit for.

Romance / Re: Relationships And Phone Calls. by bibigirl07: 12:57pm On Sep 09, 2012
Mrs..Chima:
At first I thought it was just a girl's thing that their guys must answer the calls but I have noticed many men are complaining that their chicks do not pick up calls at first or second ring.

Is this a new trend for the men that their chicks must pick up calls and must return calls less than five minuts tops Is it important to you that your partner answers the phone even if there is nothing important going on as long as they call before sunset?

Your thoughts?

...So guilty of that act. It started when I would ignore my hubby's call due 2 one or two issues we had, then it graduated to even when tinz were good ‎Ãήϑ I would just assume, well let's see @home later, now its full blown, I ignore 80% of phone callz, friends, acquaintances, neighbours et al. Text, I can do al day long. Calls, dnt wanna hear anybody's voice. Dunno Ɣ, can't be bothered. ‎Ãήϑ I rarely call pple so, its even, I guess.

biofem2000:
Bibigirl, you're in the wrong thread. This is a student visa related thread. I'll try as best as I can to advise however. You have two options here. Option 1, apply for visiting visa and when you get to the US, go about your private business. You visiting visa allows you to seek medical attention while in the US. I know people in a similar situation and my advise was this option. Option 2 as you said is to get your doctor's letter. In my personal opinion, the consular officer may grant you a visa out of compassion. I also think your doctor must be able to prove that your condition is life threatening and there is no facility in Nigeria that can provide the level of care you need. While I'm not sure of the severity of your case, I cannot say for a fact that infertility count as a severe case except if you have some medical conditions that go with it. I am not a doctor though. I am an engineer; I know nothing about medicine.
I wish you luck and pray that you find favor and all the wonderful things that you desire.

Infact, you ave been so helpful with this info. I used this thread cos I saw how positive minded ‎Ãήϑ success oriented the contributors are. I have started the process of d second option. Is there a way u can send me ur email so that I can reach you when I have more questions as I proceed on my quest? I wil truly appreciate.

Very incorrigible sect they are. Their scholars keep saying Islam is a peaceful religion: I'm yet to encounter a sect that's more uncouth ‎Ãήϑ violence obsessed. Keep up the good work Oritsejafor! If it were mosques ‎Ãήϑ muslims that are at d receiving end of this bokoharam, they would opened their smelling orifice to declare war. That we are quiet doesn't mean God is not watching ‎Ãήϑ working. Na only them? Iraq, iran, Syria, everywhere muslims are taking up arms like demons from hell. Human life means nothing to them. I'm sure it cos of the 15 muslims killed in America 2weeks ago that the so-called figure head Eunuch callin himself king of saudi to call for that meeting of nincompoos. Our soils is crying daily over the thousands of Christians who have being hacked down. The earlier Nigeria seperates along religious divides, the better!
