.give it 50 years his memory will be completely gone from public. Another 50 years, His grand children sill not have idea of sho he was. In the next 200 years, nobody will remember his existence.
Story.. How many people have forgotten Dantata.. Their name is still opening doors in Naija?
How names are bigger than Folawiyos in Naija.. Their grand kids have been positioned to run things in Naija.

Their kids and grandkids will keep running things in Naija. When they dont have the intellectual capacity … they will hire the best brains and still be remote controlling things..

it's not a question of me being better than them. Access hikding could acquire another bank today, tomorrow another bank will acquire it. This world is dynamic and things can always change. Today someone is rich, tomorrow the person is poor. My point is, it is a fallacy to say his generation can not be poor again. If you say his remaining children cannot be poor, it's possible but to say his great great grand children, no na.

Today someone is rich and tomorrow someone is broke na hymn for people wey no get only feeding money… It doesnt apply to Dantata, Dangotes, Elumelus, Wigwes.

Google George Stavros Coumantaros founder of Flour Mills Nig Plc. He came to Naija in 1950s to build a fllour mill. Today that company is still alive and his great grand kids are still getting paid through their SPVs registered in Liberia. His son is now running the company. They have Greek, US and Naija passports.

If Access gets acquired in 20yrs by HSBC/Chase, Wigwe companies/spvs and nominees will also get represented…. And swap their Access equity for Chase/HSBC shares.. Na only poor man pikin wey believe wealth is not permanent.. lol Corporate and structured peeps like Wigwes are too smart and methodical to fall from diamond to plastic spoon😂😂

This is a big fallacy!!!
Your feelings dont invalidate facts. He’s the largest shareholder of Access Bank.. Accesss Holdings just acquired Standard Bank operations in some African countries . It is the largest bank in Naija by customer base. So in 20yrs, are you going to be better than Acess Bank and Wigwes?? Nah
Good luck hoping and hustling 🙏🏿❤️

I don talk my own finish

Ok where him dey today?

Not just him, his wife and most matured child

You can say whatever you want

This is grade one spiritual manipulation simple

Entire family wiped out
He left behind 3kids, businesses that employ 50k-100k in Africa. His lineage and great great grand kids will no no poverty.
It’s not time in life that matters…. Life in the time that matters. Jesus lived to 33. His legacies and kids live on. I don talk my own common sense. One love

Honestly why Oga Harbert come carry him wife and son begin go to watch Superbowl for Las Vegas

What was really so special about this Superbowl to stake his family on it

Ok he reached US
Why not take transport?

Why helicopter?
After what happened to Kobe Bryant and his daughter?

Honestly this na grade one manipulation
Nothing anyone will tell me

Seriously cooked manipulation by his enemies

That's why intensive prayer is very very important
Before any traveling one does

Pastor David ibiyoemie in one of his preaching I listened said he had cancelled international travel many times before

One trip Dem don load him logage inside aircraft
He had premonition not to travel
He said he wasn't going again

This death is really very painful

Now I heard it's the oldest surviving daughter that will manage his business interests

Very small girl
The last two a boy and girl are not up to 4 years

Very painful situation
You have to depogramme your mindset from pastor’s manipulation. Big pastors have private jets and fly chopper for convenience and time.

His son, Chizi went to uni in the US. Access has strategic and lucrative partnerships with Visa, MasterCard, American Express.. all American financial giants.. Superbowl is a great place to meet US top CEOs, politrickians, celebrities, deal brokers and makers

He flew in his private jet fromUK … but Vegas had no parking space for private jets due to Superbowl overbooking.

It is well 😑

I still have a feeling that some people wanted this man dead 😑😑
Your feelings arent facts.. Who wanted him killed in the US for what? He’s no Jamie Diamond of Chase …nor TOE/Oba Otudeko. He shared the largest holding capacity with AIG. AIG’s mother inlaw funded their takeover of Intercontinental when she was the MD of Bank of Industries.
Herbert was used to flying rickety Naija Airforce/Police Helicopter when ABJ airport was closed. He would fly into kaduna.. and be flown on old/rickety police chopper… Problem with the US chopper was midnight and bad weather.
Nobody killed him. He had zero impact in the US.

recalcitrant partisan talking. Oshiiomole got a huge windfall in billions and millions of $$ from ECA and Paris Refunds. He blew up all the money.. and had to beg FG for a bailout. GMB bailed him out and he blamed GEJ for his financial recklessness … Now he’s blaming the same GMB. 8yr from now, he will blame BAT

They have started their medicine after death. They should arrest him to explain what really happened to Wigwe, Ike Ndi Isoko. His explanation for not boarding the same chopper doesn't make sense. Why would he travel by road as someone based in Nigeria with Wigwe? Imagine president Tinubbu going to America and his assistant, Ngelele, decides not to board the same chopper with him, instead chose to travel by road. Does that make sense? This is the problem with Igbo people, they over trust this people with innate tribalism.

This na US. Your feelings arent facts.. Police and FAA wont even consider him a suspect. His intuitions were right given that chopper travels arent that safe..and very risky at night.
From CA to Vegas by rd is 3hours.. while chopper only saved 1hr. A limo service or Uber limo would have been a better and safer option

Dude, I studied engineering in Nigeria and also did further studies in same Engineering in foreign schools.

I earn dollars and I have a Nigerian domiciliary account and foreign bank accounts in whatever country my multinational oil job takes me to.

I do not have any reason to complain about the terrible exchange rate as it is to the benefit of people like me.

That being said, Nigeria is very foolish to allow a poor country like itself be subsidising education and providing infrastructure for UK and US schools.

I know how much people like me cough out to pay a session fee abroad, when we have refused to pay a tithe of it in our own local education.

We need to stop the bleeding.

10yrs embargo on foreign education with funds earned in Nigeria, will only help our own economy and our education sector.

Anyone who wants to study abroad should find his/her way there and work and use monies from that economy to pay for the education they require.

UK ensures that the bulk of the money foreigners make in their economy, stays within their economy.

But we Nigerians that are opportune not to be suffering like the masses, are still pouring out the Nigerian funds into West.

The government need to wake up and employ commonsense but humane policies that will help turn the tide.

All I have said is for the love of my country. There is nothing to gain for me, as I would even be one of those to lose my advantage.

Make I accidentally get to power in Nigeria, una go know say Wike no wicked.

All those crying that they want change, they want reform, but in reality they are just unhappy they are the ones left out of a corrupt and loose system they still want to persist, na formatting I go dispense to everything and everyone.
So when u went to UK for MS studies.. you paid with Naira?

So FG subsidized your UK education?

So most Nigerians who buy $$ from black market to pay their school fees are being subsidized by govt??
Make it make sense for me?

The next step is to outlaw forex processing for foreign education for a minimum of 10yrs.

Any Nigerian that wants to be educated abroad should look for the money abroad.

We have schools here that can take those huge amounts of Naira we employ to buy forex for UK or American or Canadian education.

We need to jump-start our tertiary education system with better infrastructure, improved quality of education, improved salaries, and improved school fees.

Tough times require tough measures.

Ejiotic policy. Foreign graduates are the backbone of Naija FX.. they make good 💰£€ when they graduate and send a lot $€£ to Naija. Naija diasporans send more FX to Naija than our annual budget.. dont be hating from outside tje club when you cant get in lol

Politics / Re: Again, CBN Raises Import Duty Rate By Another 4.4% In 24 Hours by BigIyanga: 8:45pm On Feb 03
DeLaRue:

You think so, but that's not the reality.

There is a pain point at which demand for many imported goods will fall fast. People will simply start buying less and less of them. Whether that pain point is at N1500, N1800, or N2000 to a dollar, I don't know.

But the CBN will have the data. They know. If N1500 doesn't stiffle imports to the level they want, I suspect the CBN will not mind seeing naira close to N2,000 to a dollar.

In some ways, it is to the credit of Mr Tinubu's administration that it is willing to follow this extremely tough path to redirect the economy from import-dependence to greater local production. For a politician facing election in just over 3 years to follow a path that may not show positive results for a few years, is truly brave.

The Nigerian economy was heading for the rocks after over 40 years of mismanagement. Tough decisions are needed to correct long term over dependence on imports.

That naira/dollar pain point is the point at which local production of certain goods starts becoming more viable than importing the same goods. This should translate to us producing more of what we need locally. This will lead to more job creation, less pressure on the naira, and a stronger, more balanced economy in the long term.

But this approach comes with a lot of economic pain initially, as the country is witnessing now.

That's the theory o.

Whether things happen in practice like I stated above is a different matter, because Nigeria's situation often defy economic theory.

Epistle without data. You used Chinko phones, laptop to type this. How soon is Naija going to make phones, routers, transmitters and laptops?
How soon is Naija going to make transformers to have 24/7 electricity in order to start manufacturing?

How about telling your president to stay in Naija for medical treatment instead of spending $£€ in EU for treatment.

Do you know the role of comparative and absolute advantage in foreign trade??
