Distinguished Senator Binta Masi Garba Calls for Mass APC Membership Registration and Civic Participation.

Distinguished Senator Binta Masi Garba has made a passionate appeal to all well-meaning Nigerians, particularly the good people of Adamawa State and Adamawa North Senatorial District, to come out en masse and participate actively in the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) membership registration exercise across the state.

The former Senator emphasized that party registration remains the foundation of democratic participation and political strength, urging citizens to seize the opportunity to formally identify with the APC, a party she described as committed to progressive governance and national development.
Senator Garba also charged APC stakeholders, leaders, and supporters at all levels to intensify grassroots mobilization and provide necessary assistance to ensure that a large and credible number of members are successfully registered, especially in rural and hard-to-reach communities.

Addressing concerns raised by party members, she acknowledged complaints regarding challenges with the National Identity Number (NIN) capture, which has affected many prospective registrants, particularly in rural areas. She assured the public that efforts have already been committed to resolve these challenges promptly so that no eligible citizen is disenfranchised from participating in the registration process.

In the same vein, Senator Binta Masi Garba encouraged all Nigerians who have attained the age of 18 and above to take advantage of the ongoing INEC Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). She stressed that voter registration is a vital civic duty and a powerful tool that enables citizens to exercise their constitutional right and obligation to shape leadership through the ballot.

The distinguished lawmaker further emphasized that Adamawa State cannot afford to sit on the fence in national politics. She called for overwhelming support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that the President has demonstrated inclusiveness and goodwill toward Adamawa State by appointing sons and daughters of the state to strategic and rewarding positions in his cabinet.
According to her, such recognition must be reciprocated with massive electoral support. She therefore urged party members and supporters to work collectively to deliver Adamawa State to the APC, from the governorship level down to local government chairmen and councilors in future elections.

Senator Garba concluded by reaffirming her belief that unity, participation, and strategic mobilization remain the key to strengthening the APC and securing sustainable development for Adamawa State and Nigeria at large.

Distinguished Senator Binta Masi Garba attended the Adamawa State All Progressives Congress (APC) Elders’ Forum meeting, chaired by General Buba Marwa.

The meeting brought together senior party leaders, founding members, and critical stakeholders from across Adamawa State, in what was widely regarded as a strategic engagement aimed at repositioning the party for future electoral success.
Prominent APC leaders in attendance included Boss Mustapha, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF); Mallam Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Minister of Livestock Development; Bala Ngilari, former Governor of Adamawa State; alongside other respected party elders and high-profile caucus members.
Deliberations at the meeting were extensive and frank, focusing on the current political realities of the APC in Adamawa State. Key issues discussed included internal reconciliation, party recalibration, rebuilding trust among members, and the formulation of a clear and inclusive political blueprint that will strengthen the party’s grassroots structures. The elders emphasized that unity, discipline, and strategic coordination are indispensable to ensuring victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC in Adamawa State in upcoming elections.

The meeting further underscored the need to close ranks, address lingering grievances, and present a united front capable of effectively mobilizing party faithful and winning back public confidence across all local governments in the state.
In continuation of these efforts, on 18th January, General Buba Marwa hosted the Michika Local Government APC executive members and key stakeholders at his residence in Dougeiri, with Senator Binta Masi Garba also in attendance. The meeting served as a follow-up engagement to deepen reconciliation efforts at the grassroots level.

In his address, General Marwa made a strong appeal for peace, unity, and loyalty within the APC in Michika, stressing that internal division remains the greatest obstacle to electoral victory. He urged party leaders and members to set aside personal differences and work collectively towards the shared goal of winning the 2027 general elections.
General Marwa reiterated the importance of supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term, highlighting tangible benefits Michika has received under the current administration. He noted that four sons and daughters of Michika were nominated into the federal cabinet, a clear demonstration of the President’s recognition and inclusion of the area. He also reminded stakeholders that, through his office, he has facilitated employment opportunities for many indigenes of Michika in various federal and public institutions, opportunities made possible by President Tinubu’s trust and appointment.

He therefore called on party members and the entire Michika political family to reciprocate these gestures with overwhelming electoral support, assuring them that continued unity and loyalty would attract even more opportunities and development. He further appealed to the people to always support their own and protect the collective interest of the party.

In her remarks, Senator Binta Masi Garba expressed deep appreciation to General Marwa for convening the meeting and sustaining the reconciliation process. She called on APC executives at both the local and state levels to be just, fair, and inclusive, warning that injustice, exclusion, and selfish interests are the primary triggers of crises in any organization.

The Senator urged party leaders to carry everyone along, regardless of personal affiliations or past differences, noting that the strength of the APC lies in teamwork and collective responsibility.
