I understand your choice of Canada for him; they have a relatively mild immigration policy, compared to other developed societies.

Couple of my friends we graduated together have tried moving across from the Uk but their bar requirements is going to take him nothing less than 1yr 6 months - if he is very smart (usually takes 2 years plus the classes) Cos he will need to do some courses before proceeding to write their bar finals.

Plus, it is super expensive!

The Uk would have been his best option (through a masters degree) - Cos he only needs to write a QLTS if he is a qualified Lawyer in a common law jurisdiction; and it’s not really expensive roughly 4K pounds if I am not mistaken. But the immigration rules are so unfavourable and he will MOST likely not get a sponsor for staying and the uk is so strict with pushing people away after studies.

On a bright side - he seems really driven. Plus the grace factor can work for him anywhere he decides to go.

I doubt it if Nigerians are ready for a clean country , we allowed these elites to use us and we forget we are to fight for a safe country ... Buhari decisions is creating tension in the country just because a leader of a nation judiciary did something that’s against the law of the nation ... CJN messed up big time and Buhari hook up to the opportunity to deal with him ... we are in trouble in this country if majority is keeping mute on the wrong part of the CJN ... before you quote me negatively remember the CJN accepted his faults ....

Actually, he didn't mess up by his admission in writing...the law in such situation is that there will be no need for reference to. CCT where someone admits in writing to a petition. The system was designed to be a truth rewarding one. One can only be prosecuted when he challenges or denies a petition. ....but the petition being politically motivated and the executive being in a race against time to remove him before the election disregarded every law ( ignorantly or mischievously). My greatest issue is with the northern judges whom have allowed themselves to be used as a tool by this administration. While i can relate with her past struggles, there's nothing like appreciating those that supported you in your time of need. The support may not have come the way she envisioned.
