Na una dey give the so called agent power.

Go buy small android phones like 10 and start calling. Or gather friends and Family to help you call. Download Auto Redial App and get yourself a date and your friends. Whining and nagging won't get you date my dear.

And is it the Embassy's fault that you're not confortable with Bubu in Nigeria? cool

Whinning and nagging will get me nothing, I swear. But I'm just frustrated.
No vex say I accuse you before, na frustration dey cause am.

Well, if you're lazy to place a call through just like me and many others did. Then no problem, come to me with ur proposal I will help you or refer you to someone that can help your ministry by getting you an appointment. Simple.

I'm not in Nigeria by the way, so i no get strength to dey call.

But let me ask you a question. How exactly did you want the Embassy to accommodate all the calls from 6 countries? You want them to book 1000 appointments in a day?

The Smart ones who are determine to leave Naija will do what they have to do instead of complaining and blaming the Embassy for the unfortunate situations Nigeria place on them

It is Nigeria's fault that we have to place calls to the embassy to book an appointment, while some so-called agents will get the appointment easily?

I'm sure you're also part of the people selling visa appointment dates too. If not you will see that what the embassy is doing isn't the right thing.

The embassy is in Nigeria and we use niara here..

Other country embassies in nigeria accept the niara equivalent of whatever fee to be paid. Why Poland own different.
My BSc transcript is 3 pages(the 1st is school name/address...and definition of grading system, while remaining 2 are courses and respective grade, then final cgpa at the bottom of the 3rd page). So, I'll pay 90 euro for only transcript?
Do they change money(niara to euro) anywhere close to the embassy?
Transcript is just one document, so you will pay 30 euro for the transcript alone.

That's why you support petitioning them. I laugh at the senselessness and entitlement your brain is oozing.
Good luck with your frustrations

Is the polish embassy doing the right thing?
if No, then is speaking up against it bad?

Please kindly answer, cause all your points are invalid, and it just makes you look like one of these agent people that do sell dates and are making a living from this corrupt practice.

That's all
Be sure the names on your documents are in order else have an affidavit at hand.
If MSC ( BSC certificate plus Transcript)
If BSC ( Just O'level certificate
)
Note: all documents to be taken to the embassy must have been previously a.uthencated at the ministry
If you had done your a.uthentication since last year the embassy will reject it.

Do you need to authenticate your affidavit?

Everything is made hard for Nigerians. just to get an appointment date for legalization of documents, one has to be solving arithmetic for hours, lolx. And still without getting one.

I think they are using the arithmetic questions to determine whether you are a bot or human.

I know my question is getting a little bit too much but, will be the polish embassy request for my sponsor who is a salary earner bank statement, or is the payslip just enough?
Thanks.

They might not even question them. They might be sent back depending on the Patrol Border they meet on duty.

A guy was sent back last year December. He shared his experience on this thread. You can search for it. I think 1 to 3 weeks to the start of your programme is better.

Noted sir.
Thanks.

Hmmm... u say ? Illegal ? Based on which set of laws.
I tire... my dear they call the shots on what they want to do at their embassy. Even if they decide to shut down their embassy today, it will be the decision of the polish government and no nigerian can do a thing about it. Complain or no complain. That would not change a thing. So either we get on the train or get off the train.

I know the embassy has the highest power, but my point is how can some agent be getting appointment anyhow and common people will be finding it hard to get the appointment.
I don't even want to know, me too I will pay the agent and move on, I can write letter when I'm in Poland already grin

I read this your post and I laugh at your entitlement mentality.

My dear you're not the first Nigerian to reside abroad; so don't bring your self*sh and entitlement mentality here. If Canada, US, Aussie and UK is that easy, why then are you guys dying to push your brother to Poland? Leave Poland and focus on your UK.

I was expecting you to put Germany on the list with US, UK, Canada and Aussie. Or is Germany not amongst the 6 Big Countries? Why is Germany not using the Online Appointment Portal anymore?

So because you called for just 2weeks for your brother which was unsuccessful, you decided to come and discourage others to leave Poland and divert elsewhere? Tell me one easy & cheap EU country route that you want them ply.

I saw the recent attacks on the Embassy and I laugh at the ignorance; You lots thinks VISA is your families property or right?. Is it the Embassy's fault that we all can not hold our own leaders accountable or responsible for the messy situation we have manage to put Nigeria into?
Is the Polish Embassy the cause of the spiritual problems that befell Nigeria? Is the Embassy the reason why you guys want to run out of Nigeria by force? I just don't understand why you are making the Embassy the Enemy here.

As Nigerians, we're selfish in nature. We're also opportunist. We spoil every opportunity we find promising with our terrible way of thinking and attitude. Have you not heard of those nitwits' so called cultists who are butchering themselves in UAE? They're Nigerians, not UAE citizens. They're N I G E R I A A N S. Some Nigerian ladies too managed to kill a local/citizen in a foreign country and you're here ranting that the Polish Embassy are playing games or that they have an agenda.

We are terrible in nature. We pollute everywhere we go because we have a terrible attitude and we are never patient to follow due process to make it in life.

While I was applying to Germany between 2016 to 2018 before date became scarce like heaven. Nigerians who do not have admission offers yet as at around January-March, will go and request for appointment date via emails because of the fear of lack of sufficient appointment date later on.

As at March we had already booked appointment date to October 2018 while we are still in March 2018. Many never showed up for the interview because they hoped they will gained admission into a German university but they were disappointed as the school couldn't offer them admission. Hence many appointment go to waste, while the genuine candidates with admission couldn't get appointment dates.

If you guys like keep on putting pressure on the consulate.

I saw somewhere on Twitter too where some mumu were saying they want to write petition & protest against the Embassy. grin grin.....Well, I pray they do sha. So that they can learn their lessens.
I remembered; Some people protested at the German Embassy 2019 and last year. Ask them how far their protest has worked for them.I'm sure all of them are at home regretting their actions because the German Consulate cancelled the online booking and they now issue date to candidates at will. So many Germany hopefuls have applied since 2019 and even doing online classes and are yet to get an appointment date.

But you learners are here throwing tantrums at the Polish Embassy. You think the consulate cares about your feelings or how tough their mode of operandi is?

Poland phone call appointment is still by far better than Germany's own. A guy recently told me there was no appointment Date for US visa. How about that?

Let me tell you no one can force the Embassy to change. It is you looking to go and enjoy their country's benefits that will bend to their rules and mode of operandi. And if you think you get Coconut head; Pls go on and insult the Embassy or protest. They will only put more stricter measure in place and it will be more hard for you guys.

Those who have sense will go and do what it takes to get appointment dates. Beg your family members and friends to help you call

Or

Pay for others to get you appointment and Come to Poland.

If una like make una no hear word. A word is enough for the wise

Peace

We are reporting about the failed system here and not you coming here to condemn us for talking about it.
This is not us feeling entitled but just voicing out. Why will you call for almost a month without any response and you are saying the system is not faulty, no bro that reasoning is pathetic.
We are not dummies, we know the stupid way these things are being done, and that way is illegal.
I don't expect you to come here and defend this illegal act.

your insurance start date should begin on the same date as your intended date of travel in your visa application, and it should be the same departure date on your flight reservation.
Also ensure that your arrival date is not before the date specified on your accommodation contract/letter
yes you can purchase an additional 2 months of insurance.

But can I tell the insurance company to readjust my timing on my insurance letter

I have this issue, and I don't know how to go about it,
My dad already made travel insurance for a year for me. The start date is on September 22, but my school accommodation contract is starting on October 1st. Is it possible to change the starting date of the insurance?
Can I also add 2 extra months to the insurance{with extra pay of course}?
Thanks

Please this is not correct. If you are appealing a visa that was initially denied you do NOT pay 80 euros again. You only pay 80 euros for a new fresh visa application. For example If you are denied a visa at the polish embassy, you have 14 days to appeal without paying the 80 euros again. If after that appeal you are still denied the visa then you have to start all over again and this is considered a whole new fresh application and this time you have to pay the visa application fee of 80 euros again

Hope that is clear
Thanks for this.
I really appreciate

Guy, either you call and call till you're lucky to get through (It is possible, I've done that)

If not and you are willing and able to spend some cash. Get a date from someone and I would advise that you don't pay until you arrive there and are sure your name is on the list.

how do you know if your name is on the list of appointments at the embassy?

Question: If my sponsor is a salary earner what are the supporting documents he must provide?

Answer: If Your sponsor is earning a salary he or she will provide the following supporting documentation as proof of funds and sponsorship:

1. 3 months recent payslips ( I suggest minimum of 550k net and up)
2. Confirmation Letter of Employment
4. Letter of Sponsorship or Affidavit of Sponsorship ( Must be signed by your sponsor and notarized by a high court or public notary)
5. Copy of Government Issued ID (Passport, National ID or Voter's ID Card)

Please note: Salary earners can also fund a credit card and provide a certificate of credit card limit as well in addition to the above or the may decide only to provide the credit card limit certificate by itself as proof of funds. You have options.

Nice.
But is it okay if my sponsor only uses payslip and not with cc certificate?

Question : How can I obtain a credit card Limit Certificate?

Answer: Go to any of the major banks and ask for bank manager. Tell them you need a cash backed credit card . Basically it’s like a secured naira credit card . Meaning you will use your own funds to fund it as collateral ok. In this case the bank will put a lien on some of the money . For example let’s say you need a cash backed credit card for 5m. You will need to fund the card with about 6m because out of this 6m the bank will hold between 10-20% of it as collateral meaning they will put a lien on that 10-20% of the amount you are funding your credit card with.
Once you fund the credit card account you can then request for a certificate/confirmation of credit card limit. Some banks take between 5-7 days to issue this certificate/confirmation of credit card limit.
This certificate is what you need to submit to the polish embassy as proof of funds.

Banks I would recommend: First Bank, Access Bank, GTB, UBA, Fidelity, Stanbic

Basically if you explain this to any of the major banks they should understand. If they do not pm me and I will refer you to a banker at one of the major banks who is familiar with the process.
Thanks for this, I really appreciate.
I will like to ask if I will be able to remove my money from the credit card account afterwards or when will I be able to remove the money.

This question has been asked several times. For the last time let me respond.

Question: If my sponsor is a business man and does not earn a salary what are the supporting documents he must provide?

Answer: If Your sponsor is a business man and not earning a salary he or she will provide the following supporting documentation as proof of funds and sponsorship:

1. CAC registration (optional used to show source of funds)
2. Tax Documents (optional used to show source of funds)
3. Certificate of Credit Card Limit in your sponsor's name (Your sponsor will open a cash backed credit card account in his or her name, fund it and request a certificate of credit card limit.)
4. Letter of Sponsorship or Affidavit of Sponsorship ( Must be signed by your sponsor and notarized by a high court or public notary)
5. Copy of Government Issued ID (Passport, National ID or Voter's ID Card)

Thanks for this. Can you kindly do the one of the salary earners too, and if you can explain how the CC certificate also works.
I really appreciate all your efforts
