What I'm saying in essence is that, nobody has said any positive thing about the program on this thread since 2018. I also received a text from them today. so, I came online to actually check the authenticity of the program because we're told we'll pay 5k for the program. I need testimonies from those who had enrolled for the program before now.

I understand you. I'm saying this thread is 2 years old and no one has said ' I attended and this is what happened..'. I also received the mail and I came searching

Why don't you just go for Implanon... But consultant your doctor first to know if it suits you

Just learnt of the duration of implanon. Will discuss it with the fp people on my next visit. Thanks

Hi, I do have Experience with Sayana Press and I didn't have any regrets using it.
I still got regular periods while on it and most importantly didn't "fall" pregnant grin
I got off it last year and my periods stopped for a few months (still didn't fall pregnant too) but they returned and everything is back to normal.
No periods after you get off it is a side effect which didn't bother me and the duration differs from individual to individual.
I'll recommend and you can ask any other questions you might have.
I hope this helps smiley

Thank you so much.
Did you experience carry weight gain?
Were your periods crazy whenever you had dem? I know it still varies from one person to the other sha, but I just want first hand experience.

lol.. It's really not as bad as you fear.. Imagine being stuck with a needle 12 times in 3 years and just have an implant once and forget it's there. The entire process takes less than 5 minutes. Give it a thought.. Once for 3-5 years on 12 injections in 3 years.
Another angle.. The failure rate for injectables are higher than implants.

Thanks for this. I appreciate.

I dunno about sayana press... But have you considered implants? Implanon and jadelle? 3 - 7 years duration

I'm actually scared of implants. Not cos I've had any experience with them, just fear. sad

The myth about giving a newborn coconut water first after birth to prevent colic how true is it and who has tried it?
It's a myth, according to paediatricians. I didn't give to any of my kids and we had manageable colic.
I feel it's psychological for those that say it works.

Good morning, pls I want to ask mothers here, my wife have never treated malaria since, and she is 35weeka already.
Though she is ok and our baby too is fine. She has not be regular on antinatal due to this pandemic. My question now is.
*Most she treats malaria since she is fine?
What can she use to treat malaria?
If she didn't treat it what are the risk?
Thanks.
This is our second babe..

With my first, I didn't know we were to treat malaria and baby came out perfect.
With my second, I treated twice. But I was told that from 35 weeks, you can't take IPT ( fansider ,) again. Since she's fine, I'd say don't bother.

Vigilante is real!!!!
So, to the glory of God, my daughter came in on the 30th of June.
Last year, in June, I had a miscarriage. Had to evacuate. It was a really painful experience. I wept and told God I didn't want to experience that again.
The moment my period returned, it was black and very scanty. With so much pain that if okada enter pothole, I'll cry out. Went back to the hospital and was asked to do a scan. Diagnosis was PID. I took 2 different doses of antibiotics, yet it didn't work. On a second thought, I went to a pharmacy owned by a paediatric nurse and complained. She asked me to run a HVS. She used the result to do a different kind of treatment for me, this time using injections.
As God will have it, the next month, I didn't see aunty Flo. No MS, nothing nothing. I bless God for everything.
Fast forward to 26weeks, baby was breech plus placenta previa. Was told to do another scan at 34 weeks. That one showed a breech baby at 3.08kg and no placenta previa. Well, having had a previous csection, I wasn't scared to have another. At 39 weeks, I went into the theatre and my princess was brought out weighing 3.5 kg. I return all praise to God. Due to the lockdown, Mumsy couldn't come on time. But a neighbor offered to stay with me in the hospital. Sometimes, you feel you can't do something, but God has a way of strengthening you. By the second day, I bathed my baby myself. And I've been doing so since then.
I'm home now and recovery has been smooth. I pray for as many as are still pregnant, God will give you all a safe delivery. And to everyone of us, may we not cry over our children. Amen.

Am 18 weeks but no bump, apart 4rm hubby, mum and mother in law nobody knows am preg, i haven't started feeling baby's movement is it coz of anterior plancenta?

If you are a FTM, your bump will take some time to pop. It's not the fault of your placenta. The kicks may come in around 20 weeks. If by 24 weeks you don't feel kicks, ask your gynae.

Good day everyone.. am a bit bothered about some occurence in my home.

My wife, having her first issue is 5week 5 day gone already, but she has been complaining of right back ache, down to her pelvic and towards her right leg. Although she had her scan three days ago which confirmed that something is in her uterus, we started seeing blood spot yesterday (she had symptoms of malaria yesterday morning which she took quinin for).

When she saw this, she was scared, and a senior medical personal had to prescribe what could make her rest. She woke this morning without any blood spot, but she is scared because the breast soreness experience has reduced.

Although she did another test this morning and still showed double lines, she is scared. She is fine now, better than last night, but am equally worried.

Is this early morning test that relevant to the situation at hand.
Her soreness that has reduced, what is the implication.

Although she will be seeing her gynecologist in the next two hours, I still need feedback from those who are knowledgeable and experienced around.

Pls, help

Who prescribed the quinine for her?
At this point, only her gynaecologist can advice her right. The scan may not see a fetal pole cos it's too early. I pray it ends in praise. Amen.

Dear mamas, is there anyone that have successfully had both cs and fibroid removal in one surgery. Kindly share ur experience. Is it advisable to have both done in one surgery?

Very risky. My sister in-law was to have it done but as the CS progressed, the doc said he wouldn't risk it.
But I remember last year or 2 years ago, a lady here said her fibroids were removed during her CS. Not every Dr is willing to risk it sha.

My fellow team july Mama's,please is ur baby's movement as much as b4 now..mine is not as regular as before.i did scan on Friday last week and everything was ok.but I'm starting to freak out again cos the movement is not as before..
I need response from other Mama's pls.currently 36weeks +.

Please does movement reduce when one is getting close to due date.

There's less space to move around, so it's possible. I just look for babies active time and do my fetal kick and aim for 10 kicks in an hour and I'm fine.
