same thing happened to my brother last month, on his way back from work he bought bananas, ate ,all thru that night he didn't sleep n was rushed to the hospital the next morning, after series of test ,he spent 1week in the hospital without any food ,only drip. A family friend died of carbide poisoning in December 2016.

On his way home from work he bought bananas before boarding a BRT bus which he ate. On getting home he complained to his wife and when it became serious he was rushed to the hospital and some tests were conducted where it was discovered to be catbbide poisoning from the bananas he ate on his way home and was treated.

But unfortunately he died the following day 23rd December leaving behind 3 daughters the last one less than 1yr old.

Like i wrote when the incidence occurred initially, the problem is a humanitarian one and we should not allow it to be politicized or given a religious coloration. Where is the proof that she is the only christian among the 110 kidnapped girls? How did sahara reporters got the information that she was not released because of her christian faith? Five of the girls were reported dead, were they killed because of their religion?

The same handles on nairaland that attempted to politicize the kidnapping and make it out as a Buahri failure are the same set of people that are now very angry over the release.
