Congrats on your sale. I bought a domain from epik and listed on Afternic but they said it's not eligible for fast transfer that I should register it on GoDaddy first. Did you do same?

Thanks to God for this sales. How did this come to be? On 23rd, I felt I should create an account on Sedo and list few of my domains after I seeing sales report on Facebook and saw Sedo as part of Marketplace that domains were sold through.

I just listed 10 names including 8investments.com. I did necessary settings and move on with hope. I checked on 24th during the day and I saw 3 unique clicks on my dashboard. I also saw the country where the clicks were coming from. Lo and behold I checked my mail at past 11pm and I saw 8investments.com sold. I quickly log in and discovered that the fourth click bought the name. Also the other domains has gotten clicks. I quickly added more names. At a time I saw more click on one of the name, I increased price if not by now it would have been bought.

I was amazed like this because I had never used sedo before, just less than 24hours after listing, I sold a domain that is about to expire.

If you have not used Sedo please do now. Who knows.

Sent out some emails to potential end-users and I got a reply from the buyer, indicating his interest in the domain. I quoted $350 then he went silent.

But from the streak I was using to track my outbound mails, I saw him opening the mails almost every 6 hours (guess he was contemplating).

After about 1 week, he messaged me, asking for me to consider $200. I turned it down, but shifted a little to $300.

Then he went silent again. Since I wasn't getting any new lead, I messaged him after 10 days that he should pay the $200.

He replied almost instantly that he was designing the logo for the domain name, that was why it took long for him to reply. I was seriously pained that I lost $100 for being too hasty (well, we all learn everyday).

I asked him when he will pay, but he replied that he was out of fund and will pay after he receive a gig.

All this dragged on for over 1 month. I was on the brink on giving up when he messaged me for the whole process.

I would need to have details regarding site visitors, if the site is already built, how many searches it receives each month and a variety of other information. I am not interested in a domain that has no information, no traffic, no website, and no existing bookings. If you have that information, I would be willing to talk.

I haven't listed on GoDaddy. I use undeveloped but changing your domain DNS to that of GoDaddy will do

looks funny and shows the owner don't know much about domain. Try to educate him that you're a domainer that recently purchased the domain and you found that his website will need it to further boost its traffic which will later convert to customers. Tell him to do more enquiries on his own and inform you if he do be interested to acquire it.
