Hello, fam,

Please the consent form I saw has 4 pages, am I to attach all 4 pages to the documents I will send to VFS office or is it just the first two pages I will attach?

To God be the Glory PPR dropped this morning.
God is indeed too faithful to fail!!! I will drop the timeline soon....

Please how do I download vfs consent form?
I did biometrics in Abuja and intend to send my PP there.
Also, can someone repost the recent documents to send to vfs and the SMS fee (since I don't need to pay transmission fees in my case).

THANK YOU.

When this new thread was opened on Sunday, I came here with heavy heart because my application was 8 months old and eligibility has not even started on my portal even as at today. I made the prophetic post below believing God of miracle and also responded to someone post by saying “I knees to say a Big Amen)

Today today 4th August PPR dropped without eligibility starting on the portal .

Application submitted 20th December
Biometric 26th December
Medical Passed. 4th January
PPR dropped. 4th August

The God who did mine. Would do that of everyone still waiting for PPR.

Congratulations, I am next to testify
Dorisdili:
Hi everyone,

My study visa just got approved but I am not sure how to send my passport to VAC. Can someone please verify if VAC currently accept in-person submission or I have to send it via courier. If I am sending via courier which courier service is ideal to use, and what address do I put on the parcel.

Also, I did my biometric in Abuja VAC, is it mandatory to send my passport to the same VAC office I did my biometric or can I send to Lagos VAC?

I am asking because I would be flying from Lagos and it might be easier to just submit at Lagos VAC.

I appreciate if someone can help answer my questions. Thank you so much.

@Zmamde is right, not all countries IRCC require their citizens to do medicals
kiari:

No dey give wrong information oooo
When Medicals is not Police Character Certificate…. Medicals is valid for 1 year and There is an appointed hospital or clinic in each county.

Please, how did you renew your passport?

My passport will expire in February 2023 as well and I was made to believe i can start renewal process until 6 months before expiry (September 2022).
Exactly what I was told too, because I still have like 1 year for it to expire, and I am afraid to start the process, before they will render my current passport invalid and then when it's time for me to submit my passport to IRCC then it will not be ready. Or after submitting to IRCC and then the new one comes, which I fear might make the previous one invalid. Please gurus, what is the best advice for this scenario?

Hello fam,

Please, for those who got PPR, did you receive email notification that prompted you check your IRCC account or you randomly checked you IRCC account and found the PPR request? I want to know if only checking one's email is enough not to missed out on an important update.

Those of us waiting and praying... God will answer us soon in Jesus name.

New Ircc portal login;
https://portal-portail.apps.cic.gc.ca/signin?lang=en

Old Ircc website also known as gckey portal login;
https://clegc-gckey.gc.ca/j/eng/l?ReqID=s28250d3d00659f7e64bfb60a7a5a061a88fa932c5

People refer to the 2 portals on this platform ,when they are in the process of submitting a visa application for visit or study purposes. The major differences between the 2 websites is that ;
when submitting an application using the new portal you dont need to download any form and you wont upload a passport photograph of your self and it is pretty straight forward to complete. But the major disadvantage of the new portal is that you wont be able to upload any document larger than 2mb in size.
When submitting an application using the old portal ( gckey portal) the process is longer and you would need to download and validate about 3 forms , depending on if you are the only applicant or more forms if your spouse and other family member is applying with you. You will also upload a passport photograph of the applicant . The major advantage of using the gckey portal is that you can upload a document up to 4mb in size.
So since in your own case , you have already submitted your application and you are waiting for a decision . Your best choice is to contact IRCC using webform , or if you know the location of the embassy handling your application you can send them an email to enquire about your application.
This is very detailed and educating [quote author=mrprolifik post=114015941], thanks a bunch!

Hi fam,
Please how do I know which one is the old and new IRCC website?
What should be the content (like, what information should I add?) of the email to send? My application is overdue, yet no response/update from IRCC.
Thanks for your response in advance.

Sending webforms and/or emails do not in anyway affect your processing time or your application.
In my case, I started submitting webforms and emails after 13 days when I noticed my medical was not updated to pass despite the fact it was done before submitting my application. I raised webform to Nairobi and Lagos, and I sent mails to all Nairobi, Lagos and Abuja email addresses I came across. 24 hours after that, medical was updated.

When my application was about 22 days, I received a partial funding from my school, and I sent it through webform to Nairobi, Lagos, Beijing and London... And also to all emails found to Nairobi, Lagos and Abuja for 2 days, and added that my eligibility hasn't started and pleaded they should look into it. Although I didn't receive any response. But all in all, PPR dropped without eligibility showing if it has commenced... And my application took 5 weeks and 2days in total.

So, sending webform or email will not affect the outcome of application or processing time. Unless you're changing some documents you've submitted earlier... like MBS, SOP or your own personal information.

Please, what are the information to include in these emails?

Sheddy79:
I think you just made a good point! I have a background in petroleum engineering, and am going for GLOBAL MANAGEMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES at UCL, London. At first my interviewer was shocked! he now asked me why going for Management when I already have a background in Petroleum Engineering? when did you graduate? and what have you been doing since then? I responded that haven studied the programs (GMNR) Modules at UCL, I discovered it entails the application of Geological, geophysics, geochemistry and Engineering Processes in converting Natural (raw) materials into finished commodity, which is not limited to oil/gas anyway, secondly, haven also worked with port harcourt refining company as a secretary to the deputy manager, engineering and technical services department, general engineering and project management section, I was saddled with the responsibility of evaluating contract biding documents..........., when I mentioned all of these, the interviewer was able to build a bridge between Petroleum Engineering and my choice course, Management. Before I could finish answering the question, the second interviewer started applauding me. Initially, I taught he was been sarcastic, I wasn't so excited about his applause, for reason been that they had earlier rejected one of my awards. I only became happy when he hit the nail on the head by telling me "Young man you have gotten a great profile! Honestly speaking, I love your profile, you did well, you need not boarder at all, having two publications already at your level that seriously borders on oil and gas, speaks volume to your effort in proffering solution to the short falls in the oil and gas industry"! Just like he said, my two publications were: 1. AN EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATIONS INTO CORROSION PROBLEMS AT KADUNA REFINERY AND PETROCHEMICALS, USING LOCAL CRUDE OIL BLEND, 2. MODELLING TANKER LOADING AND FIRE WATER RING MAIN SYSTEMS, USING PIPENET SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS, of which I published in an international Journal. The Kaduna Refinery work caught his attention, been that he is from the North, and he almost killed me with questions from that area. However, lets keep hope in God, you can never tell the outcome from other centres. Best regards and wishing all divine success.

wait was there separate spaces for awards and publications? because what i saw was that publications and awards were listed as same heading under which you upload a maximum or two.
Sheddy79:
Pls. I want to ask a quick one on this? during the update of my application details, i was not able to upload all my Awards and Pubs. the system limited me to two Awards and Publications, even after i charted ptdf system admin, all efforts to upload all my awards and pubs. separately proved abortive, after all, i had to list all my awards and attached them all in one file and uploaded in the space for awards, i did the same for pubs. The question is will this have any effect on my chances of been selected, just in case their application portal have automatic scoring algorithm device for the number of awards and pubs. uploaded. though i intend to still go physically to the interview screening centre with all the hard copies of my awards and pubs. i need a quick answer please.

Although application for admission to Kiel University which is one of the school i chosed has closed since 1st march -i got to discover this on seeing the mail from ma'am Sophia yesterday.
