The advantages of not forcing/bribing people to follow your page are:

On my way home from our office today, I saw 3 blind beggars led my a woman who should be in her 30's or 40's begging for money.

The last blind man placed his hands on the shoulder of the second blind man.

The second blind man did the same on the shoulder of the first blind woman and the first blind woman placed her hand on the shoulder of the lady leading them

Together, they crossed the busy street, singing and playing their music instruments to the fashion design shop whose owner didn't even look their way.

It reminded me of the poor blind beggar sitting by the road side with a note that says "please help me, I am blind" yet, no one paid attention to him

But when a lady replaced it with another note that said "It's a beautiful day but I can't see it" people started giving him money.

When I saw those beggars, I was wondering why this lady chose to lead the beggars DAILY instead of starting up something for herself

I thought "if she's leading this blind people while selling maybe cold satchet water, people will patronise her and will give them more than they asked for"

But, it's easier to give advice or say "why don't you do this instead" when you're not the one wearing the painful shoes.

(This is the origin of my previous post. I guess the lady hasn't thought of something like this)

This also reminds me of the comment made by one Nairaland user when I shared my Trichotillomania story there.

He was like " This is weird. Why don't you just stop pulling out your hair?"

Lol! He thinks it's something you decide to JUST start and JUST stop whenever you wish.

It's so easy to say "JUST" when you ain't the one wearing the painful shoes. Easier said than done

It's in the past now. I found a way to keep it under control and it works.

Anyways, I just want to officially let you know that I'll be posting more of Trich stories mixed with some business and lifestyle posts.

Words are like birds, they keep flying around. Never u allow criticisms get to you. Some people naturally like putting people down so if u give in, they win but if u overlook, they become disappointed.

It was year 2020

I had sweaty palms

My hands were shaking

My heart nearly jump out of my mouth whenever I receive a new comment notification

I was afraid to reply to her (the criticizer's) comment

I was afraid she would criticise me more!

The weather was cold but I was sweating inside

It was the first time someone completely disagreed with my post and omo! It wasn't easy for an unprepared mind like mine

I say grow thick skin, you won't hear! Ok ooo

What was the post about?

I don't remember the full details

But in the post, I made mention of why people should only focus on plan A and leave plan B.

It was in those coronavirus era when everyone was looking for plan B to support their plan A

Innocent me!

I was only trying to tell people that even though having a plan B is good, this will make them not put their best in Plan A

Because they always have Plan B to fall back on.

Many agreed with me, but that one comment from my MLM superior who didn't understand me almost got me into depression

We kept going going back and forth in the comment section trying to prove each other's point till I finally told her that she's right.

"You're right. I made a mistake" ended the raging war that day

I think I drank a lot of cold water too

I realized later that people have different opinions and forcing people to accept yours won't go down well with them.

Again, no matter who you are, not everyone will agree with your post or understand you

And again, that people disagreed with your post or comment doesn't mean that they hate you. You are not your POST.

I've also learnt to say "You're right". It's the 2 magic words to stop any quarrel, misunderstanding and/or argument.

Same incident almost repeated itself on my previous post about "Growing thick skin on social media or faking it till you grow it because you'll need it".

Fortunately, the person I almost argued with is an intelligent guy and he understood my point of view.

I learn everyday. Learning how to pass my message the right way. Learning not to shy away from critics or from sharing unpopular opinions.

I just can't help it

Omo! I dare to say that WEALTH looks better on youths than our old men.

I just love it!

On the other hand, it saddens me to see youths struggling.

Seeing able young men and ladies on the road hawking makes me sad.

The worst part? Homeless children!

Wonders how I can switch from admiring a handsome young man in a brand new Toyota car to almost shedding tears because of another handsome young man hawking on the busy street.

WEALTH, HEALTH, PROSPERITY is all I wish for our youths.

If I had a magic wand, I would wave it and grant many wishes.

Selfishness done the right way can really pay off.

Ok! I attended the last content creation class hosted by Futurist Ola Onayemii , and in the class, he placed content creators in two different categories;

1: Selfish Content Creators
2: Selfless content creators

Here's a brief difference between the two; you can register for his class to learn more about content creation.

1: Selfless content creators creates contents for their audience only. Their posts educates, inspires and gives value to their audience.

2: While selfless content creators creates content for themselves only. Their post are usually about how they feel, what happened to them today, who they met e.t.c.

Now, how do you become a selfish content creator in a way that pleases both God and your audience?

It's being able to combine both selfish content and selfless contents.

It's simply mixing half of selfish content + selfless content to produce what we call a "quality content".

This is simply known as "STORYTELLING".

I use this tool always in my daily posts.

I share a story both non-fiction and fiction, then at the end of the post, I share lessons I learnt from the story. This lesson MUST be relevant to my audience.

This is the 2nd Easiest Way to Never Run out of Content ideas... (Go through my last posts to read the 1st one)

Don't tell me that you don't have any story to tell!

That is the more reason you should go back and read my previous post (the part 1)!

I can tell because I struggled with creating contents o line when I got start in my Sales and Marketing Business and practically what you just said helped me

One thing I want to add is

'Ask experts in the field'

I don't know why people feel to big or maybe it's pride to ask questions or for help from top people in their niche but it's one of the best advice ever to beginners

When you're not clear about a particular thing, ask top people you see for help.

Top people are mostly open to help people especially beginners

That's my own addition

It's something most, if not every content creator would love to feel.

If only it's impossible to run out of such awe-mazing contents...

If only the feeling will last forever...

If only we could be able to create and recreate such contents even as a Total Beginner?

So, what ways can a total beginner get good content ideas without spending a dime on content creation class?

1: You've probably heard/read about this before and waved it aside.

For new copywriters, you are asked to read and handcopy adcopies, sales copies of great copywriters for at least one month.

Same thing applies to new content creators, read books especially books on your particular field (e.g sales & marketing, personal development, health and fitness e.t.c)

I promise you, if you can do this for at least 1 hour daily...you won't run out of content ideas.

• You can pick one thing you learnt from your 1 hour read, write and explain it as a post and your audience will thank you.

• You can pick a sentence or paragraph that resonates with you from that book and write it as a post.

• You can choose to summarize your 1 hour read on your post daily.

See eeh, the possibility is endless!

I did this! I've done this!! I keep doing it daily. And if you've been following me for a while, you would have known that I don't joke with books!

In 2022, stop measuring your success with another person's success.

It's good to set goals to be like someone or be better than them.

But the fact that you are alive and healthy, you woke up this morning and successful got out of bed, you are SUCCESSFUL!

The "I will...when I" statement might look innocent and harmless to you but it's not.

It means that no matter what you achieve in life, you won't feel successful unless you get to the other person's level.

And that my dear, is not fair on you!

Let's start 2022 on the right foot, please.
