Five steps to success
1 Dreams
Dreams are meant to show you the way. Dream big. It is said that we should not put all our eggs in one basket. So try to have at least two goals. You may have a dream to own a mall and write a book of poems. Satan will come to tell that if dreams were horses, even beggars would ride. You resist with- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, I am more than a conqueror.
2. Plan
It is said to be important to write your plan. it had been noted that more of those who write their plan
succeed.Divide your day into different parts-a time for
devotion,a time to work(maybe eight hours at the mall and a hour on your book of poems) and a time to sleep.Do your most important tasks first eg devotion.There is a time for everything.
It is said that little drops of water make a
mighty ocean.The effort you put in each day is the little drop.Each little drop counts. Satan would come in to
trick you to procrastinate just for that day(he can come every day to tell you to procrastinate). You resist him with wisdom-Procrastination is the killer of dreams,procrastination is the thief of time.Dreams people had-of curing cancer or of singing great songs were ruined because of procrastination.

3 Persistence
Persistence lead to success. To persist means to keep trying even after you fail. Don’t give up.
If every day you take an axe and hit a tree 5 times, it would eventually fall.
Daniel fasted and prayed for 21 days. Then an angel came. You should persist in prayer too.
Satan tell you to give up. Resist him with-Fighting. This is because we are fighting against demons.
Always try. It is better to try and fail than not to try at all. I once read that not all writers who sit and write are writing good fiction. They could be writing rubbish. But a friend told me that when someone cooks soup you should first say well-done, because of the effort they put into it. So, we should congratulate everyone that works including those writers for their hard work and advice them to learn the skills of their trade eg tips like Showing not telling for writers to make their work better.
Just keep working, no matter how bad it seems because the bible says-In all labour there is profit.


4 Pursue excellence and success would run after you.
If you shoot an arrow without taking aim,all the arrows would fall to the ground.So,use your intelligence.
Let's say I want to grow a flower.I would learn the best soil the flower needs and all the necessary information to take care of the flower like how not to over-water and under water the flower.This means you have to listen to advice in whatever you want to accomplish from the internet or eleswhere.
Proverbs 11:14-
Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellers there is safety.
Put in your best effort but don't over do it.
Satan would try to tell you not to pursue excellence-Resist him-The bible says that whatever work your hand sees to do,you should do it with all your might.This includes using your intelligence and following your instincts. Practice makes perfect.People learn better by doing not reading.
5 Consistency-It means to do your duties all the time.Let's say you write a great book of poems this year.To be consistent,every year till you retire or die,you dream,plan,persist,and pursue excellence to write another great book of poems.
It means you don't just succeed this year and rest on your laurels (be satisfied with past achievements and cease to pursue future achievements). You have to continue to succeed over and over again.
Satan would try to tempt you to be inconsistent-You resist him with prayer or you can sing-If you are going ahead don't hold it,if you are going ahead,dont stop.You go ahead,go ahead,go ahead,go ahead.
Also for making heaven, You can dream of making heaven, plan to do God’s will, persist in following Jesus, pursue excellence by hearing God’s word and being consistent( no more backsliding)

1  Believe in Jesus Christ.
Romans 10:9 -

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

2 Stop sinning
Hebrews 10-
26For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

We have to stop all intentional sin like lying,sexual immorality and corruption as well as overeating because the bible says everything in moderation.

3 Give away our wealth
Matthew 19:21 -
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
4 Carry your cross 
This is the most difficult for most Christains.A cross is trouble you face because of your good deeds.You say home sexual is a sin in America,you can be treated badly,you tell the truth about other religions,you are persecuted and Satan can send you affliction like he did Job.
Matthew 16:24 ►

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Our God loves us very much
Romans 8 -
35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or unclothedness, or peril, or sword?

36As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Paul said in 2 Timothy 4 -
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
   We are on a race to heaven.
Romans 9:16 -
So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
How can we obtain mercy from God?
Matthew 5:7 -
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Psalm 18:25 -
With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;
This clearly means if we are merciful God will be merciful to us and we would make heaven.

Our world today is full of trouble.War is happening in Syria,earthquakes in Japan,and North Korea is in the hands of an evil dictator.
These could be signs of the end times.Jesus is coming soon.Look at this verse in the bible.                 
2 Timothy 3:1 -This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
We are living in the last days,because terrible times have indeed come.
Acts 2 -17And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

18And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

19And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

20The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

21And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

On September 28,a blood Moon -the last in a circle of four blood moons will happen on the Feast of Tabernacles.Each of the four blood moons has fallen on Jewish holidays,one blood moon happened on the Passover 2014,another blood moon on the Feast of Tabernacles,2014.In 2015, a blood moon happened on the Passover  and the last blood moon occurred  on the Feast of Tabernacles,2015. For four blood moons to occur on  Jewish festivals is a sign from God.

DOES THIS MEAN OUR VERY GENERATION SHALL NOT PASS AWAY TILL ALL BE FULFILLED.

Oh and I think I saw  rivers turning into blood in china on You Tube and the ground breaking,my cousin saw a strange sign in the sky like he could see the outer space and my friend has seen the ground breaking.I hate to say this but it is like an End time movie where the rapture is about to happen.

Mark 16:15 -
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
  It is our Christain duty to obey Jesus.How can we say we love our neigbour if we dont tell them the gospel to save their souls.Not preaching the gospel is a sin.
1 Corinthians 9:16 -For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
These of course applies to all Christains.Woe to us Christains if we dont preach the gospel but if we preach the gospel we have nothing to boast about.All Glory to God.

The Muslims believe that in the end time a leader called the Maddi would come and he would take over the world.The book writes that the Maddi of the Muslims has all the qualities of the Antichrist(the beast) in the bible.He will take over the world for seven years.
The Muslims said their prophet Jesus is also to come in the end times.He will say he is the real Jesus but he never died on the cross and he is not the son of God.However,he can perform signs and wonders and try to deceive Christains.The writer writes about how this Jesus has all the qualities of the false prophet in the bible.
The Muslims are said to be the ones to take over the world in the last days - they are trying to take over the world now- and they have an image in Saudi Arabia they want everyone to bow down to.This could be the image of the Beast.
If you bow to the image of the beast or take the mark of the beast,it means your name is not in the book of life.

Jesus said - We should go and preach the gospel to every creature. Paul said-Woe to me if I don't preach the gospel.These means that those who don't preach the gospel would go to hell.Because how can you say you love your neighbor if you don't preach the gospel to them.

Cures for diseases have been found,computers and the internet are commonplace,and aeroplanes have been built. Why? People dreamt big.You can have a simple dream of becoming a farmer and still dream a big dream of stopping famine all over the world.
Here in Nigeria,lots of people have the same dream to open a shop, or becoming a doctor,engineer or lawyer.
         We can accomplish great things too.
We should not be afraid of dreaming a big dream like finding the cure of Aids or inventing something new because it is said that if you can dream  it,you can do it.
We need more variety in our dreams.There are lots of other job positions than being a professional.Simple jobs are also good like being a cameraman or a fisherman.You just have to be keep trying because Winners never quit and be excellent in whatever you do and you will become successful.You can become excellent by listening to advice and by practicing not just reading.
We can resist all Temptations with the word of God and prayer.
                 Satan would tempt you to be afraid to dream big-We resist with-I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Where on earth did someone get the idea to write about vampires?.And people now write romances where vampires falls in love.
Acts 15:20 -But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
If the bible says that we should abstain from blood and fornication, then why are we watching people acting as vampires and drinking blood and fornicating?.it looks evil.
Christains are to abstain from the appearance of evil-eg people commiting fornication and drinking blood.
The question we should ask ourselves is What would Christ want us to watch?
Resist temptation with the Sword of the Spirit. Satan tempts us to watch a vampire romance movie-Resist with -Do not take pleasure in unrighteousness.

testimony from Winners-Indeed, Kingdom advancement endeavours have transformed my life.My family has been suffering from spiritual attacks,setbacks,stagnation and untimely death over the years.
In the process,five of my children died,and I am the only one alive.I started experiencing moving objects all over the body.
I joined this church during this Wonder Double Prophetic Agenda Season,I stopped praying for my personal needs as instructed by the Bishop,and committed myself to praying Kingdom advancement prayers and got on the go for Jesus daily
This last week, God of Double Wonder showed up in my life,I dreamt and I saw someone gave me a book,and said, God is restoring my blessings,thereafter,I saw so many cobras (Snakes) coming out of my body.
Since that day,I stopped experiencing those moving objects.
Writer- Anyway the same moving objects is happening to me and they are even talking.
And do you know they were spitting poison on my body
I am preaching the gospel and trying to do God will but I am failing a lot.

Bed undefiled but the adultery GOD will judge.

Some girls keep their virginity but allow men to touch their bodies,losing their purity.Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Ghost.
I am a virgin but I let a boy touch me  and once afterwards I felt a strange sensation in my chest that I felt was from God.I later ignored it but my soul felt harmed during that period even though I was a virgin.
  You feel hurt when you mess around even if you are a virgin so don't do it.

In the movies,they say we should not take the mark of the beast which is 666 but I have noticed something confusing.But there is a microchip you can take to buy and I saw members of a church that took the 666 mark on them because they thought it was a good thing. So which is the mark of the beast?
The King James Version says in Revelation 13:17 -And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
So, the King James version says you can take the mark OR the name of the beast OR the number of his name. So,the question is,can you take Either the mark of the beast OR the name of the beast OR the number of his name.
Does this mean it is not only the mark of the beast that we
should watch out for but also the name of the beast and the number of his name?. But all we have been hearing of is the mark of the beast-666. What if you don’t take the mark of the beast 666 but end up taking the name of the beast or the number of his name. I think what God wants us to do is not take any mark on our body ever.

It is a good thing to give praise to our God and to praise his holy name.God really exists and he wants to help you.
Troubled times may come while we are here on this earth but let's not forget to always praise God despite the trying times.Paul and Silas prayed and sang when they were in prison and the Holy Ghost came down.
Don't lose faith in God because he always wants to help us.
Psalm 22:3 -But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
You can resist Satan with the Word of God and prayer.
               Satan makes us face trying times - We resist by giving praise to God.

It is better to have praise from God rather than men. We are on a race to get into heaven and God is going to bless all his children.
We were saved by grace, not through any work of our own.Grace is undeserved favor.
Ephesians 2:10-For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works,which God prepared in advance for us to do.
So, we have to do good deeds. What kind of good deeds? Feed and give drink to the hungry people like beggers, give clothes to the naked(or people wearing rags),visit the sick and prisoners, assist the homeless, help the orphans and anyone in need.
James 2:26-For as the body without the spirit is dead,so faith without works is dead also.
The bible also says that we should keep our good deeds secret. Matthew 6:3-But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.. Seems like we aren’t even to think about our good deeds.
There was a story I heard about a lady who
was without sin but always told about her good deeds. God sent her to hell because she had no good deeds to show (because she told all her good deeds) and Faith without works is dead.
So, according to this story, anytime she told of her good deed, she lost her blessing. Love does not boast.

So, we have to keep any good deeds secret if possible. You may want to tell people about your good deeds so that they may praise you but why not obey God instead. God is an unimaginable God we humans can’t even begin to imagine so it would be the greatest greatest thing to please him.

Jesus said-Father, Forgive them for they know not what they do. He was dying and he showed us how to forgive our enemies.
One thing God wants from us is to forgive our enemies. People in the world can be very cruel. The bible does say the heart of man is desperately wicked.
There are people who want to take advantage of us and do us evil. People who make us and our loved ones suffer.
The wicked people make God angry but God loves them too, you know. He sends the rain to fall on both them and us.
How do we forgive those who hurt us?
How do we forgive those who made us and our loved ones suffer?.
Stephan was a great man. When he died he said-Lord, do not hold this sin against them.

Love always wants what is best for the one they love. You can love someone very much to the point of dying for them but what if they don’t love you in return? You can’t force them to be with you
And do you really want to be with someone who doesn’t love you? The bible says- True love doesn’t seek its own. If you truly love someone, you would want them to be happy with or without you.
If they love someone else, let them go and be with that person. Their happiness is your happiness.
The guy you love invites you for tea and tells you he has fallen in love with someone else. What will you do?
You can tell him that as long as he is happy, you are okay.
Don’t become an obsessive girl, crying and forcing him to be with you. He would look down on you and everyone would think you are desperate.
Do you want people to laugh at you?

Satan would tempt you to pursue someone who really doesn’t like you-Resist with-No, I will wait for someone who loves me.

John 15:13-Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
A true friend is there for you in your time of need if he can. When you are in trouble, he won’t turn you away.
Love is friendship. Friends take care of each other.
Satan of course is out to destroy all good friendship. He hates the human race with a burning hatred. He would tempt you not to be a good friend.
You can resist Satan temptation with the Word of God and prayer.
Satan tempts you to hurt your friend- You resist with –God loves all our friends
Paul also relied on the Word of God to resist temptation.
Acts 23:5- Then said Paul,I wist not,brethren,that he was the high priest: for it is written,Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.
Lets do as Paul did as Paul says in I Corinthians 11:1- Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
Satan tempts us to abandon our needy friend-We resist with- There is no greater love than when a man give his life for his friends like Jesus did
You can also resist Satan with wisdom.

You can kiss many frogs before your Prince Charming?
This saying is just like when they told the emperor who was naked that he was wearing clothes only the wise could see until a boy pointed out that he was naked.
It is a sin to tell a girl she has to kiss even one guy before she marries.
It is not all things commonly said that are wise. Every girl deserves to have her first kiss on her wedding day when the pastor says “You may now kiss the bride”.
I Timothy 5- Treat younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity.

Do you understand what this means? It means even kissing before marriage is a sin. It is a commandment and the Bible says- Love God and keeps his commandments.
Don’t be fooled by guys that say “if you truly love me, you would sleep with me”. Let me spell it out for you. They are trying to trick you into sleeping with them when they don’t really love you. A guy who truly loves you will wait till marriage.
We can resist Satan temptation with the Word of God and prayer. Ephesians 5:26- Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her to sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word.
This means the true love of our life will be willing to die for you, and would never push you to do something you don’t want.

Slow and steady wins the race
Slow and steady wins the race in everything you want. You want to lose 40kg and you go on this very fast diet and you could lose 5kg in 5 weeks but you end up regaining the whole weight the next month.
Well, it is expected that your body can’t sustain that kind of starvation diet permanently. What you need is to shift to eating moderately always.
One Kilogram is 2.2 pounds so a slow and steady way to lose weight is to lose one pound a week. Slow and steady is the right way to go when trying to lose weight and you need to start right now.
Today, you would be tempted to eat too much, tomorrow you will be tempted to eat too much, and at the end procrastination will kill your dream of getting that lean body.
The simple truth is this-if you lose more calories than you take in every day, you will lose weight
A pound is 3,500 calories, so to lose a pound a week; you need to lose 500 calories every day. You can try to lose 250 calories by diet and 250 through exercise. It is said that weight loss is 80 percent diet and 20 percent exercise. So it is much easier to lose 500 calories by only dieting than to lose 500 calories by only exercise. But if you want to lose 500 calories a day, you can also lose 400 calories by diet and 100 by exercise.
You can take a brisk walk for an hour a day, and eat three small portions of food a day (breakfast can be moderate but dinner should be very tiny), with nothing fatty in your diet.
Avoid high-fat food like fried foods, ice-cream, pork chops, hot dogs and candy bars, and pop-corn. Don’t take liquid calories eg soft drinks like coke, teas, lattes, milkshakes and processed fruit drinks. Also, only eat tiny portions of meat.
Liquid drinks can be especially fatty; one can of regular soda is like 140 calories. Drinking the recommended eight glasses of water must be the easiest and most permanent part of your weight loss strategy.
You can eat plenty of fruits-(fruits are bad for the
teeth so you can blend them and drink from a straw) and vegetables, fruits, lean meats, seeds, nuts, fish, whole grains and beans. They are rich of nutrients.
But you can take a snack to satisfy your craving once a week, like chocolate, or ice-cream, or cake but it must only be a moderate portion-not too big.If you don’t satisfy your craving once a week, you may be tempted to over indulge constantly.
A 30 minute workout session five days a week, is enough to burn calories and lose weight. 200 calories might be lost from a 30 minute workout but you might eat a 400 calories snack that same day so be careful.
Satan would come to tempt you to eat too much each day (he could come to tempt you every day so you can end up fat forever) - Resist with the Word of God-Eat in moderation.
Little drops of water make a mighty ocean. A little meat, a little cake, a little ice-cream each day and you would end up with a obese, uncomfortable body, little hope of getting married and since eating too much is a sin, Jesus will send you to hell when you die.
As for those quick pills that make you lose 20pounds in 2 weeks, don’t even try them as they can kill you. They are a fast cheating way to success and look at information on the internet- chromium diet pills may cause cancer, the diet drug Meridia,was pulled from the market in 2010 for raising the risk of heart attack and stroke. Slow and steady wins the race is a wise saying and all wisdom comes from God.
Well, as for surgery if you have it but don’t start eating moderately, you would gain the weight back after a while, so why don’t you just start eating moderately and lose more than 37 pounds in the 37 weeks left this year. You will be slim and can remain that way if you keep eating moderately and never procrastinate your diet.

It is really difficult for some people to take strangers to their home. Strangers are scary because we don’t know who we can trust. You can invite someone into your home and they could run off with all your possessions.
Someone invited a stranger into their home and they disagreed so much that she made her leave. Many people might not like the conflict or trouble a stranger may bring.
But the living God wants us to welcome the stranger. Abraham welcomed the stranger in the bible and he is our father.
I think we Christians have the responsibility to welcome strangers. It is God will. Don’t give in to your fears. But try to be wise in everything you do.
Hebrews 13:2-Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Do you know what would happen if you mistakenly welcome an angel? I think God will surely write your name in the Book of Life.
But I suppose that we have to consistently welcome many strangers before we might meet an angel.
Satan tempts us not to welcome a needy stranger-We resist with-We might meet an angel.
Satan tempts us not to help strangers-We resist with-Whatsoever we do to the least of my brethren that you do unto Jesus.
Satan tempts us not to help others-We resist-it is written-Love your neighbor as yourself

Resist the devil with the Word of God and he will flee from you.

3 Anger
Humans have intelligence, you know. Don’t think that you can win someone respect by shouting and beating them. Respect is earned.
We can earn someone’s respect by being of good character. A person of good character does God’s will like Jesus did-works hard, kept himself clean, eats moderately so he is not fat, and keeps his temper under control.
You can’t just get angry over every little thing. You can’t threaten or force people to respect you. There is this girl I know who is highly respected. A friend went to her room to test her but no matter how she was provoked, she didn’t lose her temper. She is much admired.
People are watching. Proverbs 22:1-Choose a good reputation over great riches; being held in high esteem is better than silver and gold. People will admire you if you are someone who controls their temper. It is an excellent trait.
But if you are someone who gets
provoked just because a conductor won’t give you your correct change?. You may not know it but rumors about you may spread and you would lose esteem in the eyes of people. Just image if the man of your dreams sees you fighting? He may lose interest in you that moment.
Do you want to be held in high esteem by others? Then resist all Satan temptations with the Word of God just like Jesus resisted Satan. Matthew 4:4- But he answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Satan tempts you to be angry -Resist him with- It is written in the Bible-Be Slow to anger.
.Ecclesiastes 7:9-Do not let yourself be quickly provoked, for anger resides in the lap of fools.
Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
If Satan tempts someone to provoke you to fight-You resist him with-Even in your anger, do not sin.
Ephesians 4:26-Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

4 Talking too much
There are people who talk, talk and talk all the time. Behind your back people will complain you talk too much and then you will have the reputation of being a talkative. People look down on talkatives and the love of your life may not want to date someone people look down upon so you lose him.
If you can’t control your tongue, you would lose respect in the sight of others. Don’t you want to be respected?
Apart from talking too much, there are those who insult others. Let’s be like Jesus. Even when he was beaten and crucified, he opened not his mouth.
Satan tempts you to talk all the time-Resist with-If I can tame my tongue, I can tame my whole body
James 3:2-For in many things we offend all.If any man offend not in word,the same is a perfect man,and able also to bridle the whole body.- For in many things we offend all.
Satan tempts you to curse another person-Resist with-God bless them.













5 Sluggard
Someone said -Showing up is half the job. Try to show up at your place of work whether it is at the office, in front of your computer or at the shopping mall to buy stuff for your kids.
You can do it. When you show up, you would most likely find yourself working. Just try it.
But if you just lie on your couch in front of the TV, nothing would happen.
There is always something gained in any hard work but just talking about working leads to lack of money. Proverbs 14:23-In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury
This means the work we do has reward whether it is washing clothes or driving our kids to school. You may not have a good job, but you can start from small-like just being a waitress- and God will bless the work of your hands. Do not despite the days of small beginnings.
Just do your best and leave the rest for God. Work slow but steady because slow and steady wins the race. Use your mind because the Bible says-Whatever you find to do with your hands, do it with your might.
Satan is always tempting us to sin against God. He is behind all our troubles.However, Jesus knows all about our troubles.
Satan tempts us not to work hard-Resist with-He who shall not work shall not eat.
Satan tempts us to waste time in front of the television-Resist with-Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:Which having no guide,overseer,or ruler,Provideth her meat in the summer,and gathereth her food in the harvest.How long wilt thou sleep,O sluggard? When wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? Yet a little sleep,a little slumber,a little folding of the hands to sleep So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth,and thy want as an armed man. Proverbs 6
Time waits for no one. Tell yourself each day-Tick Tick Tick Tick says the clock what you need to do, you better do it fast. This will help your mind to agree to work.




6 Smoking
Our God in heaven loves us very much and will give us eternal life. Romans 8:32-He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
3 John 1:2- Beloved,I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health,even as thy soul prospereth


God will for us to prosper and be in good health. But it is written on every pack of cigarettes that smokers are liable to die young? This is because smoking is dangerous to our health.
One good way to avoid being addicted to the nicotine in smoking is to not even try a cigarette at all. If you try cigarettes, you can become a slave to smoking.
Satan is the one tempting you to smoke as he tempts everyone even Adam and Eve.
Satan makes you feel like trying smoking-You resist with- God wants me to be in good health.
Second hand smoke can also hurt other people lungs. Smokers pollute the air around them causing harm to not only their lungs but the lungs of others around them. A server who works in a restaurant when the patrons are often smoking can die from the smoking she inhaled from others though she never smoked.
We are to take good care of the body that God has given us. When we die, all of us will give account of our life to him. Do you want to tell God that not only did you hasten your death by smoking but you also endangered other people life by smoking?
Satan, of course, is behind smoking. He must be resisted with the Word of God and prayer. The bible says- By strength shall no man prevail.
Satan tempts us with smoking- We resist with-Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Ghost










7 Drinking
It looks bad when a person staggers about drunk. You look like someone without self-control. People don’t respect drunkards and they are not looked up to.
God word says that drunkards shall not inherit the Kingdom of heaven.
Also, do you know that drunk women can easily get raped?
I read of a man who would go and find drunk women (maybe near clubs) and rape them. Don’t let your grand down. There are wicked people around.
If you are drunk, you can become prey to evil men. It is like crime, you cannot stop armed robbery but everyone locks their doors to prevent it if you can. To avoid rape, you can do God will that we should not get drunk as well as other measures.
I myself don’t drink or smoke.
Satan can be resisted with the Word of God and prayer. The bible says-Sanctify them by the truth,thy word is truth.
God wants to clean us through his words.
Satan tempts us to get drunk-We resist with the Sword of the Spirit-A good reputation is better than riches.









8 True love
Finding true love is a gift from God. Of course you have to be of good character to please the one you love. How can you be of good character-By doing the complete will of God-you work hard, have only clean habits, keep your body healthy and slim, don’t get angry easily and do everything in moderation eg talking.
The most important thing to want in a Christian partner is a kind heart that fears God. However, your suitor can pretend to be very kind in the relationship but when you marry, he could turn cruel and quarrelsome.
So, how do you find his true character before marriage? Well people say you can know a person true character from how he treats those below him. Is he harsh to the waiter? Does she treat her maid with respect?
Watch how he treats everyone, even his elders. And also, when dating, we might be blind to the fault of our suitor so it is good to find out the opinion of other people –about his character and whether he really loves us- as the bible says in a
multitude of counsellers there is safety. It is commonly said that a person who ask questions never misses his way.











9 Sexual immorality
People really look down on women who are sexually immoral. Most men would not want to date a woman who is loose. Being a virgin who has never even been touched can help you have an excellent reputation which would help you when choosing a husband because men want to marry a woman they hold in high esteem.
However a woman who sleeps around is treated with disdain. Nobody respects her .Men can talk behind her back and say “You just buy her a cup of coffee and she will sleep with you”
Even the men who would have really loved you would want nothing to do with you when they hear this from the other guys. Though some may come who just want to use you.
But of course, if you have been promiscuous, you can repent and remain chaste and your reputation can improve as people see the changes in your character.
Don’t be deceived by the lies people say. Become chaste and get your self-respect back. If a guy really loves you, he will not want you to sleep with him before marriage. Instead he will treat you like a princess. This is how you know your true love.
Also, show integrity by not chasing a man who keeps rejecting you. They say-If you love him let him go, if he doesn’t come back, he was never yours. People will really respect you when they see you kindly let the one you love free to be with whoever he wants. After all, if you truly love someone you would want them to be happy-with or without you.
The one who truly loves you can later come after you let this one go

10 Integrity
What is integrity? It is generally a personal choice to hold oneself to consistent moral and ethical standards . It means not to comprise your valves. Having integrity can cause people to admire you.
Is your boyfriend asking you for sex? Say no and break up with him. This will show you have integrity and will even make him respect you . He might choose to leave or could even fall madly in love with you though you must not take him back unless he repents because you are a Christian.
Is your boss trying to get you to sign a false document? Refusing would seem very difficult but if you refuse -politely, of course- your boss and co-workers may sack you but they would respect you more for it and God has said he would provide for you.
Satan is the one making us to compromise our values. Resist the devil with the Word of God and prayer and he will flee from you.

Satan tempts people to make us do something wrong-We resist with the Word of God-Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego were told to worship the golden image but they refused and said God is able to deliver them but if not, they would still not serve the golden image. We would follow their example.
We also pray for God to help those pushing us to sin because the bible says love your enemies.
Even if we are beaten and killed like Jesus was, we should be happy because the bible says-Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven

CHARACTER COUNTS

The way to have self-respect is to do the will of our father in heaven. James 1:22-But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
These are ways you can improve your standing in the eyes of others.
1 BAD HABITS

Sometimes when people are alone, I read that they may sometimes indulge in bad habits like picking their nose. If someone eg your husband sees you continually picking your nose in secret they could lose all respect for you.
What are bad habits?
A person may pick their nose very often. The people near you can become disgusted.
Another person may scratch their body very often and yet another person can pick their butt.
Be careful. People may be gossiping of your habit and they won’t tell you. Do you know that bad habits can make people not to hold you in high regard?
You may have a bad habit and keep trying to stop for years but you fail over and over again. Don’t give up. God word says-I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Bad habits are disgusting to those around us. It can even cause our friends, family and husband to disrespect us. And how can your husband remain in love with you if he cannot respect you?
No one who continues to do anything shameful or disgusting will enter heaven.
There can be only one person behind any bad habit-Satan. The bible says-Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Jesus resisted temptations from Satan with the word of God. The bible says in Ephesians 6:17-And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
The Sword of the Spirit which is the word of God is part of our battle armor.
We can resist Satan with the Word of God and prayer.
Satan tempts us to dirty our fingers and smell them- We say –Cleanliness is next to Godliness as soon as we are tempted and we pray against it as well.
Satan tempts us to touch inside our navel causing a smell-We resist –No one is to be mastered by anything and pray constantly as well.
Satan tempts us to always touching or cleaning your nails-We resist by washing our hands whenever they are dirty so we don’t over focus on them.
Use the practical advice of washing your hands regularly and keeping your body clean to resist bad habits. Tell yourself “Fighting” as encouragement as you fight against the unseen demons.
Let pray an agreement prayer for God to help us break any bad habits.
In Jesus name-
Heavenly Father, thank you for the grace you have given us. Please we ask and agree that you would help us break all our bad habits. Amen.






2 Weight gain
Everyone likes to eat. Bread, rice, chocolates. They are all gifts from God.
But some people tend to over-eat. They eat one helping of food, but are tempted by Satan to eat yet another helping. Then another helping. You need to know when to stop.
You are now over-weight and your body feels really uncomfortable. Is this really how we are going to live our life?
Philippians 4-Let your moderation be known unto all men.
Eating, watching television and sleeping must all be in moderation
One trick of Satan may be to get you to procrastinate your healthy diet. He can tell you (he might come to tell you every day)-Just take more food today, tomorrow you will start your diet. Resist him with-Procrastination is the killer of dreams.
Do you know why? Because your dream of becoming thin will die eventually if you procrastinate.
Someone offers you too much food, just nod your head no. Procrastinate eating until meal-time.
Also, being fat can also lead to disrespect. People would look at you as a person without self-control because you are fat. When people see a fat person holding a large bottle of coke and packets of chips, they think they are undisciplined.
Little drops of water make a mighty ocean. A little rice, a little meat-pie, a little wine each day all adds up to us being fat. Avoid liquid drinks like ribena and fried foods or pastries like donuts, meat-pies as they are especially fattening. Eat only small quantities of meat and keep your portions of food small. You can eat something fattening once a week to make the wait easier-as a treat.
Tell yourself before you eat-Little drops of water make a mighty ocean. Do this over and over to program your mind not to eat too much. Words have power.
Also, the guy you like may not be attracted to you if you are fat. And even your husband can lose interest in you if you are over- weight.
Jesus resisted temptation from Satan with the Word of God. Psalm 119:11-Thy Word had I hid in my heart that I might not sin against you.
Satan is the one tempting us to eat too much. We can resist him with the Word of God and prayer. He will flee if you resist. The bible says-Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
