Romance / Re: I Told My Wife That The Dna Result Of Our Kids Will Be Ready Tomorrow. See What by ClinicalHope(f): 10:06am On Jan 06, 2021
kingeze88:
I'm married with 2 kids, a boy, and a girl but I trust my wife that is why I have never thought of anything like a DNA test, I didn't do the blood group of my kids to know if they carried my blood group because I know my wife will never bring another man's kids for me. My wife do tell me what's happening at her office, how some of her colleagues are dating their bosses in the office.

When I saw DNA trending on Twitter, I clicked on it where I read the sad news of Mr. Tunde Thomas who died after he discovered that the two kids he thought he was their biological father belong to his Wife's boss, Mr. Adam Nuru of FCMB Bank.

I couldn't sleep that night, I concluded that the next for me is to do the DNA test for my two kids to confirm that I'm their biological father.

Immediately my wife left Home today, thank God schools have closed till further notice, I took my kids to our family hospital to run a DNA test, and the Doctor told me the results will be ready tomorrow.

When my wife arrived this evening, I told her that, the DNA results of our kids will be ready tomorrow.

My wife told me that immediately I bring the results home tomorrow and the results confirmed that I'm their biological father, she will leave my house immediately.

Please, Should I tell her I'm just joking or wait for the DNA result?
you did DNA test on your kids and the results will be ready tomorrow?? I doubt unless na genotype and blood group which should be out in less than 24hrs

Please my fellows i need your advice, i am in between 2 choices. I have this land i just bought and wana build my house i have fenced it and out gate but i am thinking if to use the money i got to develop the land or i use it and travel abroad (uk ) for my masters pls advice me.

For those abroad is it easy there and can i get a good job after my masters or i should remain here in Nigeria and get married?

I will need to sell my car and properties if i am to travel.

Please help move to front page for more views and suggestions thanks
Build a house base on your budget and if you can add room(s) for rent, it will pay you big or small. It's an investment! Another good thing you will be here to supervise the building construction. I think you should put your travel plans on hold. Observe the pandemic, economy of the country before you make a move.

chrismexzie:
Hi everyone.

I am new here, in fact this is going to be my first post on nairaland. Forgive me if I break any rule, I will keep it very simple.

I'm a fresh graduate, just graduated last year, was not able to go for NYSC due to my age. Simply want to ask, what are the chances of securing a job considering I am above 30.

Before I forget, I studied Business Administration (KASU) with a second class upper. Thanks everyone.
congratulations on your graduation. Whether you are above 30 or close to your 40's . You have 24hrs in a day to make every step you take, count in your life. Start with what you enjoy doing and how you can create wealth from it. Talk to someone, a mentor about your goals so you can be guided. Lastly believe in yourself.

Family / Re: She Is Single And Living On Rented Apartment, Away From Family ! Is It Good? by ClinicalHope(f): 2:53pm On Mar 08, 2020
MadeINchenzen2:

what do you think guys?

Is it okay for a lady to move-out to live alone on a rented apartment as a single person. Than stay with her mum, dad and siblings?

Usually it is prevalent with most guys especially when they get to a certain age, probably after school or perhaps because of an essential need for some privacy and a sense of responsibility.

In my own thought. I think it is dangerous and untimely for a single lady to leave her family to live alone before she s married.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with a single lady leaving alone. As long as her family members understands and supports her decision. I started living alone since my 300level. After NYSC I lived at a place not very far from my Mom's (she comes to visit and I do the same ) from there to Hubby's house. If your intentions are good, trust me you learn how to organize your life.

Education / Re: Is A 2.2 A Bad Grade For A Graduate? by ClinicalHope(f): 2:54pm On Oct 13, 2019
Do not let 2.2 weigh you down or define your future. If you want to be a career person then I suggest you go for a master program of your choice. Another option is, take short courses online and build yourself if you are looking to pursue a different experience.

MrEgbegbe:

Why would i go to church to sing and pray to an imaginary God who doesn't exist ??

Someone whose virgin mother was impregnated by a ghost grin

Someone who was born 9000 years ago with no evidence to support the imaginary birth, he promised to come and destroy the world in the middle of the night, we have been waiting for him for more than 1 million years now, maybe he's booking a Qatar airways that will take him to earth

Some who said i will be thrown into the hell fire, a fire that has been flaming for 9 million years without stopping and the people in there haven't turned to ashes

Some who sits in a 4 million carat gold throne in heaven while his children die of hunger and diseases on earth

Someone who created Adam and Eve as the first humans on earth, Adam and Eve had children, their children then had children, how the fucck did Adam and Eve children manage to have children ?? Maybe they slept with their parents or that konji ghost that impregnated the Virgin mother of Jesus did the same to them

Fucck out of here with that your silly story

Religion is the biggest scam in the history of the world

MrEgbegbe what if God Almighty truly exist? What if Jesus Christ son of the living God is coming back again to take his people? Don't curse at Christians and their belief because you choose to listen only to the voice inside your head. How can you say God is imaginary when His Word is Alive(Spirit)? How can Jesus be imaginary when the devil flee at the mention of His name? God is Love , Jesus is Peace and the Holy spirit is our Comforter. I pray you will have an encounter with God smiley listening to one of my favourite Gospel song I Can only Imagine by MercyMe

There was excitement in Ado Ekiti on Saturday as Hailstones known my many Nigerians as Snow grin fell from the sky during a rain
which began around 4 p.m. The residents, mostly students of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, and the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, took snapshots of the white solid substance.

Right... he makes a good point.

OK... The problem with most Christians is that they think that becoming a Christian and following God means no more problems, no more issues. everything is OK.

Well, the early Christians did not have that luxury .A good number of them died for believing in God..... despite all the promises of blessings.

But why does God allow bad things happen to good people?

Recently on BBC, the daughter of a missionaries told her parents story. Her father was a missionary and a good man who died in the course of the job....killed by the idol worshippers he was trying to reach (no offense to my pagan brothers and sisters). What did his wife do? His wife went and took his place.... ministering to the people who killed her husband along with another widow..... and many were converted.... Including the men who killed her husband.

Now... If the woman had given up on the faith, and said that Jesus is a failure for not protecting her husband, would the souls of her husband's killers be saved.

Jesus said that we are the light of the world. Sometimes that means shining when we don't feel like it, when all hope is lost, when we are personally hurt. But we have to shine..... because somewhere among the people who hurt us is a Saul who will bring light to more millions.

Let us talk about saul/paul. He persecuted Christians. He took part in the death of a good man called Stephen. But Saul was converted by Jesus on the road to Damascus. The job was completed by Ananias and Barnabas..... members of the same church that he was prosecuting. Now what if Ananias had said that Jesus failed...since he could not protect Stephen.? What if Barnabas had left the faith? Where would Paul be?

Jesus gave you a mission as Christians.... gave us a mission.... to be a little light in a dark world. It is not comfortable business being a light. You may have to forgive, have to love, have to forget hurts done to you. Because you have a mission as a Christian... to help reconcile an evil world to the Lord. Not to sit back and expect your blessing for doing God a favour by following him.

The problem with the ex Christian the OP quoted is that he was following God for favors. That is not the kind of follower God wants.

God bless you for this write up. If one has never been in darkness, he or she cannot appreciate light.

Hi dingban. Did you say Ofor is very important for Vegetable soup? I have never used it for cooking vegetable soup. This is the 1st time I'm seeing Ofor as one of the ingredients used to cook vegetable soup. I used it only for Oha soup, bitterleaf soup if I don't want to use cocoyam or I use both depend on how thick I want my soup. I will try it out this weekend.

Health / Re: Doctors & Nurses, What Sickness Is This? Or Is It HIV? by ClinicalHope(f): 10:41am On Jan 09, 2017
rasie:
The thing is:i'm scared shitless right now. For the past few months I've been having a monthly series of flu sickness. I mean every month for over 5months now. The one I'm currently experiencing now has just got me very much scared. Below are the things I'm experiencing now:
- Flu(whooping cough and catarrh)
- Sleepless nights
- Loss of appetite
- Weight loss
- Body vibration
- Tiredness
- Stooling (Diarrhea)
- Headache
- Fever
I've read about the fact that most of the above are possible symptoms of the hiv virus and anytime I think of the possibility of me being (i can't even mention it) ,i just feel like dying. Yes I've been living a very promiscuous lifestyle and its more reason for me to be scared of doing a test. Although I've done it before in 2014 and it was negative but since then, there have been a lot of sexcapades. Which brings me to my question directed to doctors or health practitioners : "Is there any other sickness that can be related to those symptoms above apart from Hiv? "
To those with the virus already I'd like to ask: "Did you experience something like that before you were confirmed as positive? "
Ps: I treated malaria last month by the way.
Pss: For all those that will eventually advise me to get a hiv test, save your advise. When last did you do yours? Yes i know that the only way to be sure is to get tested but c'mon guys, una know how e be na.
Go for Tuberculosis test and see a good Doctor. If you are scared to go for HIV test I would advise you do it and get it off your mind.
