montelik: positives are ddg is still a phenomenal shot stopper, kagawa was very impressive, cleverley was neat and tidy but overwhelmed covering for Scholes.

I don't think we watched the same Cleverley grin

Okay, play was better than it was in the first half, but still piss-poor in the final third.
Rooney came back up but it was too little too late.
Welbeck was useless and there wasn't much RVP could do for anyone under the circumstances.

I still think playing Valencia in RB was a waste of good resource.
Okay, let's say Fergie's hands were tied, but forsaking width in favour of a clogged MF?? Sheesh.
Young and Nani shoulda manned the right and left wings respectively. I'm still pained about that wasted left wing.

Can't wait to see Jones, Rio and Smalling back. Unfortunately, each one still has at least a month out.

All in all, I hate that we lost, and I hope our next game is a lot better.

MOTM= Fellaini.

Good people of Manc land....it's time to brace yourselves for a first day defeat.

And may I add that this had nothing to do with RVP...game had already gone south way before he came on.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Cristalz(f): 9:46pm On Aug 20, 2012
One bad game doesn't make him a travesty. grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Cristalz(f): 9:37pm On Aug 20, 2012
montelik: everton making a big mistake trying to play/defend for the final whistle.
But it does seem to be working. Their defense is pretty solid; United can't seem to unlock it.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Cristalz(f): 9:36pm On Aug 20, 2012
Young on, Nani off. There ends my dream.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Cristalz(f): 9:31pm On Aug 20, 2012
Whoz gonna go off for Ando? Scholes perhaps.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Cristalz(f): 9:26pm On Aug 20, 2012
OMG, I cannot believe how that did not result in a goal.

RVP on, Welbeck off. Good.
Next should be Cleverly for Young.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Cristalz(f): 9:24pm On Aug 20, 2012
I don't understand when this unnecessary passing started.
Having an ex-Arsenal guy doesn't make us Arsenal. cheesy
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Cristalz(f): 9:21pm On Aug 20, 2012
debosky: Blimey - Fellaini annihilating the entire United backline. grin

Beating United's defenders to every ball that they're now even afraid to come near him. Vidic was trying to mark Osman instead of Fellaini. grin

Cleverley = useless. He has no business being on the pitch.
I didn't even know he was on the pitch for a long while!
Dunno what hez still doing in there.
Young should come on for him and go man a wing.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Cristalz(f): 9:15pm On Aug 20, 2012
Fellaini scores and they totally deserve it.
Perhaps Fergie will wake up now. *hiss*

Nice. Now we're getting by on pure luck.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Cristalz(f): 9:06pm On Aug 20, 2012
Okay, pretty annoying display from United.
This formation has got the MF too clogged up and the boys keep getting in the way of each other's legs.

The left wing is wasting away. Nani should be there wreaking havoc, not swaying from MF to the right like a yoyo.
Rooney is playing too deep 'cos the MF just ain't working.

De Gea has been simply brilliant.

The back 4 are asleep.
Vidic is rusty, Carrick is half blind, dunno what da heck Valencia is doing. Lemme leave Evra for now.

Second half had better be better.

If Everton keep this pressure up, God help De Gea.

If Fellaini were less selfish, Everton just might have been a goal up by now.
Our back 4 seem to be asleep.

United need to stop attacking down the middle and use the flanks. Middle obviously isn't working.
This is why I'm always for 4-4-2.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Everton Vs Manchester United (1 - 0) - 20th August 2012 - Live by Cristalz(f): 8:15pm On Aug 20, 2012
Good job, Fletcher.
Fellaini owned Valencia sha.

StarBoard: Criz,
Beware of Internet sociopaths like 1025.
They sound loving and sweet but are totally demented and psychotic.
This one he's labeling you his "dear",. . . My hand no dey o. . . I warned you .

LOL. I may have inadvertently invited the endearment term.
Warning duly noted, but hez not that bad, is he? grin

@Debo
From RVP's perspective....the club did waste a few good years of his career.
Arsene claimed "Arsenal are a selling club" instead of building and keeping a team; imagine the dude's frustration.

Not excusing the dude's diss, just saying the club also hurt him in a way.
As for moving to a rival club, hey, he can't help it if his heart desire has always been to feel the United badge against his chest. grin

debosky:
@ Crizzle for shizzle. . . .long time no see dahling, we've missed you in these parts. Jousting with the remaining scumtwats hasn't been as much fun as it was, especially with Hemp boy's intermittent postings whenever he partially recovers from his hemp induced comas. grin

On the Rafael issue, the fatigued notion is plausible - Rafael is one of the few defenders I can recall that get regularly subbed due to him tiring out quickly. Maybe it's a stamina thing, or maybe he just gets subbed before he starts making mistakes, but I won't be surprised if he is fatigued, considering he didn't play 90 minutes as frequently as other defenders did last season, even when he was fit.

Deballzky sweerie....missed you too.
Come on, leave Emp alone. You know he is my personal favorite. grin

About Rafael, guess we just have to wait and see. Personally I think he improved somewhat during the just concluded olympics.
Just hate to see Valencia wasting his attack potential at the back, as well as getting caught away from RB duty 'cos he decides to utilize that potential.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Everton Vs Manchester United (1 - 0) - 20th August 2012 - Live by Cristalz(f): 11:20am On Aug 20, 2012
mukina2: a broken leg today! cool

Bad belle grin

RVP may take a while to blend into United's more aggressive style.
The good part is that he has got Rooney et. al to do most of the running around for him. All he needs do is stay up front 'n score.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Cristalz(f): 10:59am On Aug 20, 2012
1025:

i am just happy that folks here are beginning to observe what i observed months ago. these two things(coogar and starboard) need at least six months holidays with yaba mental rehab. they lack respect for both men and women. they don't talk much of football. i am ever willing and ready to help in any way i can to bring the two back to human levels. so if anyone is making any plans towards that, i will make myself available any day and any time.

Sadly sweetie, some conditions are incurable. Just like cancer and AIDS.
The world gets stuck with managing 'em while hoping they'll one day get wiped off the face of the earth.
