After going through this thread from page zero, my position remained solidified, as usual, on the need for an only Igboid country. What a brood of lies and haters? When did General Philip Effiong died? Who was in power then? 2003 and 2011 is not the same thing. By the year 2003 Nigeria was still tattering on the wobbling feet of military rule. Is it when Indi'Igbo will push for state recognition for a Biafran war-load? The Igbos that suffered the most from the Biafran war. From the loss of their properties, money and prestige. State sponsored marginalization and the rest. Jonathan was the only President that tried to correct those errors in 2011. Now that is an issue for the Ibibios. Fucvking hypocrites. Among other things that makes me scuff at Nnamdi Kanu movement, this one stands as the most basic. Why include ethnic groups that will always cry fowl for any move you make? Ditch these guys for fuvck sake. Work for the Unity of Igbos, S'South and S'East and lets get the fuvck out of this contraption. If they hate you in Nigeria, do you think they will love you in Biafra? The hate and lies against you will even be intensified in Biafra. Please, in the name of posterity, Igbo only country is the best option for us. I rest my case. 8 Likes 1 Share |

enemybulldozer: No, I don't hate him. I detest some of his style, as its not fitting for a leader of his magnitude, especially in regard to the movement he is currently leading. If I'm close to him, I'll definitely tell him to his face, the worst he can do is to boot my ass out. I admire his gut, and passion, but does it mean we should act blind to his errors? I give it to him when he get it right, and I won't mince words when he is getting it wrong. Do you think the Biafran project is a child's play? Oh, you think we are not conversant with the harsh terrain tagged Nigeria? Do you know that unguided success can be scuttled? I'll love to see Biafra come to fruition, and if he is destined to achieve it, then he must do it right. Above all, I do have the right to air my opinion. |

Eastfield1:Don't abuse me. Whatever may be the reason for those action, its having more backlash than you guys think. Move out of the East, expecially deep down South, and carry out a sample survey and get people's opinion. Don't make your movement seem like a cult instead of a freedom fighting movement. For your information, I'm not a coward. My Igbo nation comes first before anything, and Kanu is not greater than the Igbo nation. Can't you guys stand criticism for goodness sake? 6 Likes 1 Share |

unohbethel:Guy, there is a stack difference between our culture and that of the Yorubas. We cannot start practicing what our fathers did not practice now. On a serious note, do you think its proper to bow to your fellow human, whether Yoruba or Igbo? Since we are all equal before God. Just thinking 3 Likes 1 Share |

Kanu is committing blunder after blunder judging by his media antics, the institution of BSS, when Biafra is yet to become a sovereign state, and the acceptance of the demi-god position his followers have converted him to. The Holy Book said, "thou shall not bow down to any......under heaven"..... But time without number, images of people bowing and paying homage to Kanu have gone viral online. His advisers needs to be questioned. If Kanu is truly practicing Judaism, as he claims, then this scripture should be embedded in his mind. Why allow obeisance? Why allow people bow to you as if you are a deity? This is completely strange to Igbo culture that I know. Why is he and his followers always insulting and abusing those with variant opinion from theirs? If Biafra comes, does it mean we will all toe the same path? What happens to freedom of expression? What about opposing views? Are we going to operate a one party system, as is obtainable in a communist state? Communism is alien to our culture and values. Our tenet as a people over the century, is buried deep in democracy. Everybody is accorded to right to be heard. We practiced this value right from our ezi'nu'no down to umun'na and oha'neze. IPOB must understand that self-determination is beyond insults and name-calling.... We can disagree to agree as humans without bitter feelings. But on a honest note, Igbos are not well treated in this union, and may want out. I'm one of the people that will love to see a peaceful exit from the union. I personally believe, that Kanu is a clog on the wheel, as a result of his methods and approach. My opinion though. However, Kanu if you are reading this post, please correct your mistakes before its too late. You cannot appropriate the position of God to yourself and expect him to keep calm. We are Igbos and we are known to stand for the truth. Yes we may want out of the union, but what transpire after our exit is determined by how we objectively strive for self-determination now. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

You people don't even know that the enemies of Biafra is not Arewa, nor Oduas, but the so called tribes in the S'South. They are grossly against the unity of Igbos. Go to their Facebook Page and see the way they attack Igbos and create division on Igbos with their spurious claims of no Igbo in S'South. 2 Likes |
