As many people are always looking at their phones, Psychologists suggested that peaple should apply in their screens Wallpapers (some are attached below) that make them feel relaxed when having a bad day.

They also said that you can apply in your screen a picture of your loved ones, your goal plan ( so it reminds not to give up), a quote that inspires, mostly a picture of anything that turns you on again.

Health / Lockdown: Rwandan Soldiers Accused Of Raping Women During Lockdown. picture by Cyrillemugwiza(m): 4:03pm On Apr 03, 2020
Five Rwandan soldiers have been arrested after residents of a slum in the capital, Kigali, alleged that they raped women as they enforced a nationwide lockdown to prevent the spread of Covid-19, the army has said.

Residents of Nyarutarama have been telling the military prosecution office that the soldiers also beat up male residents and stole from them, a BBC reporter in Kigali says.

One of the victims told journalists that on 26 March an armed soldier forced his way into her home and beat up her husband, when she tried intervene the soldier raped her.

The government imposed a nationwide lockdown to control the spread of Covid-19, but residents have complained about brutality meted out by security officers.

Last week, two men were shot dead after they were caught walking outside.

Police said the men had tried to attack the officers.

Rwanda has confirmed 84 cases of Covid

Health / 'I Was Shot In The Face Six Times And Survived' A True Story By Waleed Khan by Cyrillemugwiza(m): 11:49am On Mar 31, 2020
When I woke up on the morning of 16 December 2014, it was just like any weekday; I put on my school uniform and met my friends in the car park. Every morning before school we would sit in the cafeteria and share breakfast together, usually arguing over the cricket match from the night before. Then we would make our way to class.
Our school in Peshawar, Pakistan, is what we call an army school. This meant the army managed the school, and we were used to soldiers being around. So it was no big deal to us when a major came in to deliver a first aid talk to us in the auditorium.
Peshawar school photoPeshawar school photoKHAN RAZIQ/ANADOLU AGENCY/GETTY IMAGES
The entrance to the school Waleed attended in the north-western city of Peshawar, Pakistan
The whole of our school was made up of wings: the school wing, a college wing and a toddler wing. For this lecture, the school and the college wing both got to attend, so that meant the room was full of students aged from 11 to 18.
I was 12 years old and one of the youngest head boys that the school wing had ever had – something that made my parents very proud. One of my privileges was to sit on the stage with the principal, and on this day, the major too. From here I could overlook all the other students’ faces. Some days my friends would try to catch my eyes or pull a face to get me to laugh.
It was about halfway through the talk when I remember hearing a deafening bang. It was loud, but not particularly out of the ordinary. Just the week before, the college wing had played a prank on us and thrown a firecracker into the auditorium. Our teachers didn’t find it as funny as we all did.
It sounded different this time though, not like a firecracker. Still, it could easily have been an army drill, so that’s what we all told ourselves. Laughter and chatter rippled around the room at the disturbance to the talk. It wasn’t until the noise got closer and closer that things started to change.
I asked my teacher, who was on the stage with me, if everything was all right. “Don’t worry, don’t worry, everything is fine,” he told me. Some students were concerned, others were joking around. When the noise reached its loudest, complete silence fell over the auditorium.
Waleed clutching blazerWaleed clutching blazerDAVE IMMS
That’s when I knew something was wrong. The teachers’ smiles began to crack as they quickly locked all of the doors in and out of the auditorium. One teacher told everyone to get down and hide under our chairs. Some of the younger students started to cry. I stayed sat where I was on the stage, too confused to move. None of us had ever heard gunshots from that close before. And just like that, the door was kicked in and our auditorium became a war zone.
There was no pause before the firing started. They came in shooting. One of the men shouted, “Hit the elder ones in the head”, so loud that everyone could hear. That’s when I realised that I was still on my chair – I was so shocked, I couldn’t move my body to hide. I was just staring at them. Even as one of them aimed his gun directly at me, I still physically couldn’t move.
He was about 10 metres away from me when his first shot hit my face. When it made contact with my skin all I could feel was the searing pain, my face was open and bleeding but I still wasn’t sure that what was happening was real. Shots were being fired relentlessly in every direction. They shot my friends in the head, hands, legs, and chests, right in front of my eyes. From the stage I could see everything. I could see my classmates dying. Some instantly. Others slowly.
Even with their bodies in front of me, I couldn’t accept that my friends were dead, when a few minutes before we were laughing and gossiping with each other. It was the extreme mental pain that I remember the most. I was completely helpless and I think that broke me on the inside.
I was lying on the stage now, desperately trying to roll onto the floor and under the chairs to some sort of shelter. That’s when one of the terrorists saw me move. They shot me in the face, over and over again. I lost count of how many times.
Waleed skyWaleed skyDAVE IMMS
I thought that was it – I was going to die there on the floor of that stage. Death didn’t feel very far away.
I couldn’t stop myself thinking about my parents and the promises I had made them to become a doctor and give our family a better life. I knew I would never see them again. The room was silent now, as the bodies started to disappear into a mist of gunpowder.
The terrorists now focused their attention on checking to see if we were alive – hitting people with guns to see whether they needed to shoot them again. When they reached me, I was kicked in the chest and a scream gave me away. Looking at my face that was barely there anymore, I can only assume that they decided to leave me to die painfully.
After what felt like hours, I heard them leave through the exit – in the direction of the toddler wing.
I put my hand in front of my mouth, to feel for warmth to check if I was still breathing. I was. I knew I was losing a lot of blood and the outside of my face now felt like the inside of my face. But somehow I could still see. I could hear. My mind was still working. I wasn’t scared anymore. After all, what else could happen to me?
When I tried to get up, I couldn’t. My legs weren’t doing what I told them to. So I started to crawl, to drag myself to safety. Every few centimetres, I thought I was going to pass out from the pain, then I would bring my hand to my mouth again, to check one more time that I was still alive. I said to myself, "I’m still breathing. Until I stop breathing, I will try my best to keep breathing."
My senses saved my life that day; they also destroyed any chance I had of forgetting every detail of what happened.
When someone from the army emergency response found me, I was barely conscious after crawling 30 metres. Half of my face was gone, and I hadn’t even realised that I had been shot in the leg.
The only thing I don’t remember from that day is how I got to the hospital. The terrorists had destroyed my face so much that, when I arrived in the emergency room, I was left with the dead bodies and not the patients. I had lost so much blood that my body was paralysed. I tried to speak, to make any kind of noise that would tell them that I was alive, but nothing would come out. I did everything I could to breathe deeply, hoping that someone would see and help me. The blood in my mouth started to make bubbles.
Later, I would be told that a nurse found me among the bodies. I had been shot in the face six times, once in the leg and once in the hand.

Health / See The Cure To Coronavirus !! by Cyrillemugwiza(m): 9:14am On Mar 22, 2020
There are essentially three ways out of this mess;

vaccination

enough people develop immunity through infection

or permanently change our behaviour/society

Each of these routes would reduce the ability of the virus to spread.

Vaccines - at least 12-18 months away

A vaccine should give someone immunity so they do not become sick if they are exposed.
Immunise enough people, about 60% of the population, and the virus cannot cause outbreaks - the concept known as herd immunity.
The first person was given an experimental vaccine in the US this week after researchers were allowed to skip the usual rules of performing animal tests first.
Vaccine research is taking place at unprecedented speed, but there is no guarantee it will be successful and will require immunisation on a global scale.
The best guess is a vaccine could still be 12 to 18-months away if everything goes smoothly. That is a long time to wait when facing unprecedented social restrictions during peacetime.
"Waiting for a vaccine should not be honoured with the name 'strategy', that is not a strategy," Prof Woolhouse said.

African countries among world's least happy

South Sudan, Zimbabwe, Rwanda and the Central African Republic (CAR) are amongst the unhappiest countries in the world, according to the UN’s World Happiness Index.

Only Afghanistan beats them to bottom place of the 153 countries listed.

Finland has been named the world's happiest country for the third year running.
Nordic countries make up four of the top five places with the authors saying the happiest places are those where people feel a sense of belonging, and trust their fellow citizens and institutions.
The researchers asked people around the world to assess their own levels of happiness, as well as taking account of factors such as national income and levels of corruption.

This year's report was compiled before the coronavirus pandemic.

Top five:

1) Finland
2 Denmark
3) Switzerland
4) Iceland
5) Norway

Bottom five:

Health / 'my Testicle Was Like A Giant Avocado' by Cyrillemugwiza(m): 7:19am On Mar 16, 2020
"It was bigger than a can of Coke because they drained 400ml of fluid from it - but it was the shape of a giant avocado."
Actor and writer Michael Patrick is talking about his balls. His left ball to be exact.
"Imagine a really, really big avocado. The type you see in a supermarket and think, 'That's too big. I don't want to buy that one because it's too big and will only go bad. I'll have to buy the smaller one.'"
Now Michael can laugh, albeit nervously, about the time as a teenager his testicle swelled up to an enormous size, thanks to a condition known as a hydrocele.
But the three years he hid the condition from his mum were tough. He was too embarrassed to tell anyone and petrified that the enormous swelling could be cancer.
Years later, he happily talks about his testicle to anyone who'll listen – and reflects on how opening up about his physical and mental health brought him closer to his mum.

One day :

'It fell out of my shorts during PE'
Michael, currently on tour with the Royal Shakespeare Company, remembers another embarrassing moment at school when his swollen testicle fell out of his shorts in a PE class.
"I managed to hide it for the most part but then it did fall out when we were doing sprints.
"A fella was running behind me and it just dropped between my legs. He recoiled in horror and sort of fell over.
"But thankfully he didn't tell anyone. I think he was so traumatised by it that he kept quiet."
Michael's close mates at school eventually noticed the swelling in his trousers and they talked about it among themselves, assuming he was just very well endowed.
"When I finally got my diagnosis they were like, 'Oh thank god! We all felt very inadequate next to you
Nowadays, Michael and his friends are better at talking about personal things, like their physical and mental health.
"We talk about things... that we absolutely would not have brought up when we were at school.
"One of the greatest moments actually was when I did the play for a group of prisoners at a youth offenders' centre in Belfast.
"One of them got up afterwards and was like, 'I've never mentioned this before but I had surgery on my penis and I want to chat about how it affected me.'
"It was amazing to hear this lad who comes from a hard background being able to open up because we did the play. It's a silly, light-hearted look at balls but it has a message underneath it."
Michael says he feels like "an idiot" for not telling anyone what was going on for three years - but the whole experience, ultimately, improved his relationship with his mum.
"I like to think we're closer now than what we ever were."

Health / Julian Peter Has MRKH Syndrome, Born Without A Vagina' by Cyrillemugwiza(m): 9:08am On Mar 15, 2020
"The Day I Discovered I Was Born Without A Vagina'' - 29-Year-Old Kenyan, Julian Peter

A routine question from her doctor about menstruation set Kenyan Julian Peter, now 29, down a path that led her to discover she was born without a womb, cervix or a vagina. Twelve years on she shared her story with the BBC's Anne Ngugi.

I was born with a condition called Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome (MRKH), where you have no womb or vagina, and you can also find yourself with just one kidney.

A woman who has MRKH can never get periods.

I don't have a uterus, so I've never had periods. This is the normal that I know, I don't feel bad about it.

People have different feelings about who I am.

'They can say whatever they want'
Someone told me that I should go somewhere to be prayed for.

Another person said that because I come from Ukambani [a region that is stereotypically linked to witchcraft] then my grandmother had something to do with this.

They can say whatever they want to but what really matters is how I take it. If I were to listen to them it would start affecting me, and I would start thinking that what they were saying was true.

I discovered I had the syndrome when I was a 17-year-old school student.

I went to hospital as I had problem with my legs, which were swollen. The first thing the doctor asked me was when I last had my period. I had never had one.

They did a scan. The first image indicated that my reproductive tract was closed from the outside.

I went through an operation to open it, which was not successful.

I had another scan that showed I had no uterus or vagina, and that was when I was diagnosed with MRKH.

I cried on the first day and the second day and the third, but then I moved on. I was only 17 and quite small, so my priority was to get back to school.

I was in hospital with my mother, my only parent, and the diagnosis shocked her. I think as a parent there were questions she was bound to ask herself, Essentially she was wondering if she had done something wrong.

'I didn't want the operation'
As I had studied biology, I understood what the doctor was saying that first time.

I told her that I didn't want to go through with an operation at that point as I wanted to go back to school to complete my education.

Ten years later, I went back to hospital and had a successful operation.

The type of MRKH that I had meant that I had no vagina, no womb and I only have one kidney. My vaginal canal was not there and it had to be created.

My life is normal as MRKH does not interfere with how I want to live. But for some it is emotionally disturbing and people might need to go to a psychologist to accept the condition.

When you realise the implications of the condition that you have, you have to forget about giving birth to children.

I have had four scans and no ovaries were found, so even retrieving eggs for IVF cannot be done.

You must accept the way you are. But realising that you are not like other women is difficult, you need someone who you can talk to.

I've met many people here in Kenya with the condition and we share our experiences. I accepted my condition early on and I have accepted myself, so I'm OK.

Explaining to a partner
I have been in relationships. But I don't let things go too far before sitting down with them and letting them know about my condition.

If they want to accept it they will accept it. But you know, human beings are just human beings.

A large percentage of the people I have told have gone away. Others accuse me of lying, they think that I am saying it to chase them away.

Right now I'm not in a relationship, but it's all God's doing.

When it comes to having sex, I had the surgery to reconstruct the vaginal canal in 2018, so it's just over a year after and I am not ready to have sex.

Neither am I ready to get married. If we wanted to have children we could adopt.

It took me at least 10 years to decide to share my story with the public.

There are people who do not understand what MRKH is and I want to raise awareness.

Foreign Affairs / A South African King, A Nephew Of The Late Nelson Mandela, Has Been Arrested. by Cyrillemugwiza(m): 8:51am On Mar 15, 2020
A South African king, a nephew of the late Nelson Mandela, has been arrested after allegedly going on the rampage with an axe in the palace.
Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo, freed from jail on parole in December, broke into the Thembu royal palace in the early hours.
Witnesses said he was searching for his son, the regent, who was appointed the acting monarch while he was in prison.
The regent escaped through a window, but his wife has been injured and taken to hospital, a royal spokesman said.

King Dalindyebo was sentenced to 12 years in jail for kidnapping, assault and arson, but only served four years after the president granted some prisoners early parole last year.
He was the first monarch to be convicted of a crime in South Africa since white-minority rule ended in 1994.
The 56-year-old comes from the Thembu clan, to which Mr Mandela, South Africa's first black president, belonged.
South Africa has seven officially recognised monarchs representing different ethnic groups and clans.
