joefit4gur: Thank you so much.... I'm checking a course at Conestoga college and it appears the fee per term is $9300 per term and it's a 2 years course (which I believe is equivalent of 4 terms). Can you kindly give an estimate of how much is needed in naira for a single applicant for this journey plus living expenses? |

Hi guys, good day. I've just started following this thread and it's been a lot helpful. Considering starting this Canada journey but I've got some questions. 1. For a 2 years course, what's the estimated amount needed for tuition and living expenses in naira? 2. I'm kinda confused about Canada usage of year and term. Is 2 years the same as 2 terms? Thank you |

ibdra: No, you are wrong.... Automatically, if you pick vi TLS, you pay £55. If you are lucky to get an appointment date, you won't pay any extra, but if you are going for walk in, you will pay additional 42k with your card there. 5 Likes |

ademidedavid: I believe your dependants should have earlier dates? If yes, you can use their date and walk in with them. You can as well try and see if you or your dependants can amend your appointment dates to earlier dates. |

ZiggyMr: Yes, they will... But you will have to pay for walk-in for others who do not have appointment for that day. Make sure everyone print their slip for their various dates so they can sign on it. 1 Like |

duchess90: I saw these two online, what do you think? Kindly note that the main applicant is the wife and the dependant is the husband (Just the two).... Just learning about the consent letter and I wasn't sure it's needed since we are applying same time and all funds are in the wife account. 1 Like

duchess90: Good morning Duchess! Do you have the format for this consent letter please? Also, I believe the main applicant will be the one to upload it (if both MA and DPT are applying same time?). |

Good morning and Happy new month to everyone. I have a question, at what stage do someone print his statement of account? Is it before paying for both IHS and Visa fee or after paying for the two fees? |

AlphaUno: Congratulations once again! The statement in your post, I believe you mean "statement of account"? If yes, I noticed you have one statement for the main applicant and another for the dependant? Since you both applied together, can one use the same statement of account whereby all the money will be in the main applicant Bank? 1 Like |

AlphaUno: Thanks for the response, for that question 2, kindly check the image. We are clear now that each person (main applicant and dependant will register differently). Based on this image, we know the main applicant will pick the option of 'student without scholarship', in this case what option will the dependant choose when filling? Lastly, the second image where we have number of family, I believe we will both select 1.

AlphaUno: Thank you so much.... I have an important question about the TB test booking. 1. When booking online, will it require only the main applicant passport number or both main applicant and dependant passport number? 2. In the option of Applicant details 'Number of family members', will the main applicant choose 1 or 2 in this case (we only have the main applicant and 1 dependant) 3. How soon can payment be made after booking, or let me say the deadline for payment? Thanks |

MamaJoJo: Thanks for the response.... I've actually checked the first page and a couple of pages on this thread, but I didn't see anywhere that talked about self employed route or freelancing. Also, when I say freelancing, it's not a physical office thing, strictly online. So if you could maybe help with a link, that will really be helpful. |

Good morning guys! I've been following this thread for a while, my first post here actually.... I've gone through a couple of things here, especially on the first page. My question is regarding the experience parts. I've never done a paid job for anyone and the only experience was during NYSC (Worked at a federal school and got paid only after service in bulk) But since then, I've been working as a freelancer to earn a living. So, anything for someone like me that has been working as a freelancer for years and getting paid? Does that count as experience? And also the NYSC year? This way, I will know the next step to take. Thanks 1 Like 1 Share |
