No now, this response is not correct. To use VI, you pay £55, it is the naira equivalent of this £55 that is 42k. You don't pay £55 and pay another 42k again.

No, you are wrong.... Automatically, if you pick vi TLS, you pay £55. If you are lucky to get an appointment date, you won't pay any extra, but if you are going for walk in, you will pay additional 42k with your card there.

I believe your dependants should have earlier dates? If yes, you can use their date and walk in with them. You can as well try and see if you or your dependants can amend your appointment dates to earlier dates.

Yep ,you can change the wording for instance with the consent letter to use in the case of account statement will be that ABC is your husband,and he will be joining you as your dependant and that the maintenance funds in bank statement XYZ is available for him to use.

I will suggest you add the consent letter, my wife is the Dependant, she received NSF asking for the POF in her name whereas the pof is in MA’s name… so we later sent pof(in MA’s name) and consent letter.

You are expected to either upload all your document before biometrics as self service or during biometrics as assisted service.

IHS and visa fees are part of your application process and do not determine when you print your statement.

Before you forget to print and upload it, you can so so now.

If yes, I noticed you have one statement for the main applicant and another for the dependant?

I'm not sure it matters whether the self employed business is in a physical location or online, this is with regards to your comment about freelancing.

You will find the PPR links in the post below useful but it'll be up to you to add an extra docs that you believe give credence to your business and chosen NOC.

You can apply as self employed. If you have a company registered and have a company account and also paying taxes.
Go back to page 1 and check for people who got PR through the self employed route

Good morning guys! I've been following this thread for a while, my first post here actually.... I've gone through a couple of things here, especially on the first page.


My question is regarding the experience parts. I've never done a paid job for anyone and the only experience was during NYSC (Worked at a federal school and got paid only after service in bulk)

But since then, I've been working as a freelancer to earn a living.

So, anything for someone like me that has been working as a freelancer for years and getting paid? Does that count as experience? And also the NYSC year?

This way, I will know the next step to take. Thanks
