*clears throat*. "In my own opinion" Pls observe the statement in quote. You don't have to agree -
Canada is like any other country such as the U.S. England, Spain, South Africa etc. The only reason they would issue a visa to you is because it benefits them in one way or another. Think of the tax they'll benefit from the payments you make on fees, accommodation and transport amongst other things and what it would do to their GDP. They don't care about you per say. Finances majorly is the key thing for these countries, nothing more. If you will abscond, abscond with money so you don't become a Menace and nuisance in your course of absconding. They really don't care if you do. In the long run, the longer U stay there, the better for them. you pay tax and your fees is three times more expensive as an international student, begs the question who's really gaining right? I feel the hometie and other reasons for denial comes as a result of not satisfying finances to the fullest. If they're not satisfied with your raw cash, they'll latch onto your liquid assets. Not because its a home tie but Cos if push comes shove, you'll have some more to spend in their country or go home. Them no dey tell person. So let's stop with the mentality that you need to own several hectares or what not. Show them you can afford to survive effortlessly and trust me the purpose of stay, length of study and all that grammar wouldn't be needed. You don't need to comment. Read, agree, disagree, hiss and move on. |

SeyiMiilan: I did that but my financial proof is huge. I also want to ask if its each upload that must not exceed 4mb or my total upload.@Dapsey66 It should be under proof of financial support. Yes. Each upload should not exceed 4MB so you're looking at a total of about 30 MB in application files give or take. That being said. Heavy finances. Come sponsor me ma bros. *jokes* |

Usually I don't but LET ME VENT - so I have been observing the thread and some people just seen it fit to trample on other people's applications just cus they feel they know What the requirements are and what not. It's a little stupid to come flaunt knowledge you haven't quite attained with a brain the size of a pea. Try not to mislead folks on here just cause you feel you know too much. I agree, you can never teach your master and some of you know it all and have smart mouths but it won't be tolerated henceforth. Wishing everyone the best in their applications. No man is an island and if u feel u are, what the hell are you doing here. |

SeyiMiilan: Thank you sir. I am not apply presently, am just merging my documents and converting to pdf....so which document do I attach the certificates to? With my SOP? @Dapsey66 Yes boss. SOP, Birth certificate, transcript, employment letter and all. Any document you consider as material to your application that has no place in the fields of your MYCIC portal is regarded as supporting documents. You should arrange them in a way that tells a story tho. E.g SOP first, followed by WAEC down to university then employment and all. All the best sir. |

Letter of acceptance has its separate field, look properly, you'd find it. Your transcripts and other supporting documents would be merged together. |

zuggy: Thanks alot man. I also want to apply to Conestoga college, how can I pay the application fee using my master card. Between Centennial college and Conestoga College which is more prefferable. Thanks >> I guess that depends but I believe Centennial College has more ratings than Conestoga. Not many people will agree with this but that is by the way. I did not have to pay the $95 application fee. Serli said there was no need. I got my admission after a week though and paid upfront school fees. |
