I was wondering 'why is the middle-belt suffering from policy failure and poor leadership?' after reviewing the 2015 general elections, where the electorate were brain washed into voting incompetent persons to fill in delicate positions, by people who argue based on emotions rather than reason. They came up with an acronym 'SAK' which means that once the president is voted from a particular party, that the voting trend of that party should continue to the buttom. This gave rise to the kind of leaders we have in the middle-belt who came into power not because they have anything to offer but out of the hatred that was sawed in the minds of the populace by the then opposition to vote out the last administration in their quest to take over power at all cost. Amidst serious challenges of non payment of salaries, herdsmen attacks, poor policy direction, continues blame on past administration etc. The priorities of these middle-belt governors is about President Buhari declaring his intention for 2019 general elections instead of focusing on developmental projects that will see to the development of this region. These guys came into power by accident and accident is what we are in at the moment. God help us
