As a linguist and a language expert.. if you are intending to stay in Nigeria, I'll advice you learn French because it's easier to learn and we are surrounded by Francophone( french speaking countries) in Nigeria. 70% of the words you see in English lexicons are borrowed French. And french is so interesting that it broaden your horizon and cultural integration is sealed in the course of you learning it. But outside the scope of Nigeria, I'll advise you learn Spanish because it has the highest numbers of countries that speaks it. Spanish will give you opportunities to make friends and as well job opportunities especially in the US. I'm talking from experience because I've seen the practical use of the both languages. I speak French and Spanish.

Oh sorry for misinterpretation.
She can apply for Nigeria visa in one of the Nigeria consulate/embassy in the US, mines got hers from the Embassy in Washington and it was a smooth process and she can also use New York or Atlanta. She will have to submit some documentation as well, you can google their website you will see all that needs to be done and book an appointment.
Or you can settle for visa on arrival(it has procedures online too) plus there should be prior arrangements with an officer here to make it smooth coz den dey frustrate person for here o
Go to travel.state.gov and click on instructions for visiting Nigeria you will see other things that needs to be done including validity of passport, yellow fever vaccinations and more

Please there is one grey area i forgot to mention. The 3 times she visited me, my passport status isn't showing I'm in the country when she visited. Will, that affect the process or do I have to tender any documents to show my presence in the country or they will judge by the stamps on my passport. Yes, apart from police report. Thanks.

Shouldn't be an problem, US only cares if you overstayed in the USA.

They don't care about other countries......

if you are in a country and you are not allowed to be there, you need to go back to your country in order to process the K1, you can't have your interview in a country where you are not suppose to be.

as long as you file for your home country from there should not be a problem. I can see a problem as you will have to get a police report from the country that you are not suppose to be in, as least I believe you would, I could be wrong but b4 u leave try and get ur police report

put where u live nw on d space where u want ur interview I believe by God grace b4 the approval of ur I-129f u will have ur legal stay when I-129f is approved by this time next year, and if u wish or change of anything u can change where u want ur interview to be conducted when ur case get to NVC . Hope u know u have to get ur police Clarence this place u r live that u don’t have a legal stay and also Nigeria and any other country u stayed over 6 months I believe

Please there is this delicate case of mine, the country where i currently reside I've have no legal stay at the moment due to the fact my visa is expired. You have no control over the service centre where you want your application to be processed. It is only USCIS that could determine the service centre to send your form for processing.

just ask the petitioner is a Supportive document to support ur tax . But not everyone in the US do get W2 if u r self employ u don’t get but u get 1099 form for self employ…..

Please i thought there are various centres... And I've seen some comments above where people advice the petitioner to file at Nebraska because it's faster. Are you saying I'll have to go through the Texas centre..

This happened about 8 years ago. I was in my first year then, she mistakenly dialed my number. After introducing herself I told her it's a wrong number. She's an Igbo lady, I felt she might be a relative going by the fact I'm from the east but grew up in the west all my life. I reconnected with her, later to discover we ain't related. We became friends on over the phone to the point of dating.

This happened for years.. She's very beautiful and well behaved but we never met until earlier this year I traveled to the state she is for a deal. I met her in person. I think that is one of the happiest moments of her life after so many years.
