the story is one sided , mind you, your account was used for fraudulent activity and you were accomplice! Thank God is not efcc, and you will be smelling your yansh by now!

Accomplice and they can't arrest me in my house. Do you have a brain? My house is opposite the bank, and a station is nearby. You dey see say they unlawfully detained me without any formal charge against me. Don't you know judges are bribed to issue a court order? Especially in Nigeria.

If I were an accomplice, the police would have arrested me directly; the judge would not be involved. It's a crime; after arrest, I can seek a lawyer.

There is no need to argue; continue to use your Access and GT bank account.

No wonder you're jobless, sha. Die slowly in poverty, you jobless, foolish and hungry fool. People like you die of poverty and illetracy. If he sure for you send me personal message, make I end your poor generation.

you have a point and are partly correct, but bro look at it like this. to get a police order to restrict your account will cost the person 50k. then after police do investigation and discover the truth, they will then proceed to get a court order. amount for court order costs at least 100-200k. anyone willing to pay such amount for investigation really wants justice. look financial crimes are handled by a dft set of police. your scenario 1 will be hard to implicate because you have evidence you sold goods to the customer ( & therfore nor your fault or bizness if its proceeds of crime)evidence such as receipt, book-keepin or transfer from your bank statement. bros that guy never talk true. If you check well immediately that funds entered his account he quickly removed. I have investigated many people like him so I know wassup.

So if you borrow money and someone sends you money and you withdraw, it's a crime now. Cell for don full na. People for Don die na because lots of people borrow money daily.

Guy, you are dull. If I'm a fraudster, they will charge me with evidence, arrest me in my house, not lock my account and wait for me to go there. It's because they know I'm innocent; they didn't come near me. People kill them.

Arguing with you is waste of time because it's clear you have no sense, and everyone knows. Go read my first post.

What I have done for Nigeria, you cannot do. I earn thousands of dollars yearly working hard, putting food on people's tables.

Arresting me is of no need. You can call me or invite me to the station. I'm a civilised person. Because they arrested me and locked my account, I didn't pay one naira, and I left.

did the us govt discuss with tinubu before they blocked and forfeited the $460k in his accountOlodo police will only discuss with you when they do not have sufficient evidence and need a confession from you. also going to your house to arrest you is spending of resources. they will fuel their car and ask directions to your home with the risk of you being tipped off. It's easy to lay a trap. It's called the rabbit approach cheesy

Lol, directions to my house? When is the bank close to my home? Lol

Tipped off by who? When they drove from Benin to take me to Benin, they didn't tip them. I could have even called street boys to kill them. But I went willfully to clear myself because I ain't no fraud.

So the police don't have the resources to arrest me in Warri in my house, close to a police station and banks. My estate is in the middle of Warri. But they can fuel their car from Benin to arrest me?? Guy

The police have no right to arrest me, but who committed the crime? It's why they released me, because Access Bank and those Police for hear am.

They used the bank because they knew I would go there to complain and clear myself and were scared to arrest me the right way because I'm innocent. They used me to get to the real fraudsters. Which is wrong because they should arrest criminals not trusting people. Do you know it's a crime to retain someone for two weeks in a cell without a formal charge?

My last message to you because you think like a criminal, and it's why those banks sacked you.

it's a local scam worth in naira so why spend resources to look for you when they can simply lay a trap for you using your bank account how much did you pay to regain freedom? or you out on bail or the charges were dropped? and why should the bank protect you? are they the police or your God? In case you don't know banking law states that a police officer or law enforcement cannot have access to your account except signed by a judge(basically a subpoena)

Now its clear you can't read and understand or even write. Spend resources when they have my house address. Guy, you mad so?

So you're saying a judge can sign a warrant to give the police a subpoena to lock anyone's account without a formal discussion with the person as civilised humans. Meaning I can just send you money and get a judge to lock your account and arrest you?

You're a fool, if there was evidence I committed fraud, the police need notlock my account, they should make an arrest first before freezing my account. Not the other way around. The judge no even ask where I dey?

Guy you dull sha. Go on being foolish your whole life.

you are a criminal & a local scammer. The bank did not arrest you, the police did. someone complained with hard evidence that you defrauded them. the law enforcement agency sent the bank a mail to restrict your account and BOLO you(mind you b4 d bank restricts ur account and holds you for police there's a court order signed by a judge) the moment you stepped into the bank for your fraudulent proceeds your ass was caught and the nearest police station contacted. why not tell us what happened at the police station? why not angry with the police?

So funny the police cannot arrest me for a crime but locked my account. So they used the bank, which are fools and don't protect customers. The more reason I went to the bank to clear myself. Now I am free. But for Access and GT Bank, they will die slowly, which is already happening because Nigerians are tired of their poor service and foolishness.

You talk like an illiterate; when they employ senseless people like you in a bank, they lose customers and make the bank stupid because you have no sense or experience about banking and it's laws.

you are a fraudster come on getat! the person you defrauded approached the police with concrete evidence and the police traced such funds to your access bank account. The police also got a court order to detain you at any bank you present your ugly self. I can bet my balls that you opened that access bank account with ussd code and have defrauded many people before your eventual arrest.Ole nie.

Are you calling me a fraudster? You know I can Bleep you up for these words. You talk like a fool. So, if I committed a crime. Why didn't the person call me or the bank call me? Or the police just arrest me at my home. The bank has my home address. I still stay in that house. If you truly work there, get my address and charge me for the crime. Could you send me a message?

The fact you worked there means you are a fool and among those who destroy people's business. Why you don't have a job, you and the bank you worked will lose all your customers; just wait and see.

You have a self destructive mix of ignorance, pride and obstinacy.

And people like you make Nigeria worse. You see an apparent fault and negligence of a bank, and you're still spilling trash.

What if I died in the cell?

You're just one of the dull and uncivilised people that make Nigeria go backwards in all ramifications.

Guy, open an Access Account and use it. Suppose you love the bank so much. No worry, you go collect steady. Just by the way, you talk.

First your story is not very clear, at the beginning you said you have repaid the 200k. Then later on you said you will repay it.

Second, if it is true that the money you received was actually from the proceeds of criminal activities, then you should thank your stars that you're out of detention already and walking free.

Third, I'm quite curious as to how much you think you have made now that makes you want to sue a mega bank?

Thanks, my stars for money I don't know anything about it. Is it a crime I borrowed money? Just Imagine a family member sent you money, and you get arrested for receiving it; is it normal? Without the bank or police calling or inviting you for questioning? Just got arrested without telling me my crime.

Don't worry, when one of these banks deals with you, you go wise.

You talk like you have no sense, really. You're an illiterate. Do you even know what a crime is?

I said I'll repay the money again for them to release me. Guy read well.

If I can't win the case against the bank in court, then the whole world will know of their fraudulent activities. Bad PR can make companies lose profits and customers.

Bad PR and services are why most people use Opay and Kuda over many commercial banks.

Sorry for your ordeal.

however what you should also advice is for people to stop borrowing money especially from family and relatives with dubious source.

The charges against you is you're a beneficiary of stolen funds.

It's hard for police to do investigation when they are seeing that the funds was truly in your account which you'd agreed to have received.

Before you get a lawyer and start spending money make sure the person who send you those funds is in police costody if not na waste of money.

Send me money send me money fit carry person reach Angola ooo.

Everyone reading this should hustle make them no go send you fraud money ooo.

If stolen funds enter your account the person report nothing you go tell police ooo.

Sorry once again for everything you already have the skillset to land a job abroad.

Dust yourself and move on. Good luck

Sure, but Access Bank and GT Bank are frauds. They have ruined my business. It's why people use Opay, Kuda and others alike. Nigeria should avoid them! If you're in business and living in Nigeria, please use good banks, or you and your business will suffer.

Do you have the same surname as the family member, and what happened afterwards to the family member?

I have to post about this issue with Access Bank for people and customers to be aware they can face setbacks, stress, dehumanisation and loss of their lives when banking with that bank.

Instead of coming on naira land to write unverified nonsense, shouldn't you be preparing your lawsuit against the branch of the bank and the Nigerian police force?

I'm preparing my lawsuit against them for sure. You call this nonsense; l almost lost my life. You're evil. Do you know how many Nigerians go through a situation like this? Like is the country in a good state.

You're evil, and your comment proves you're amongst people who ruin people's lives in the country.

Please, moderators, let this be on the front page.

In 2019, I borrowed money from a family member, then, I had no job. In total, he sent me 200 thousand naira to my Access Bank over eight months - money I have repaid.

In 2020, I was lucky and started working as an IT worker with a company based in the UK, but then I received my salary with GT Bank and used my Access Bank for regular transactions. Soon after, Access Bank locked my account.

I called their customer service, and they said my account was restricted, and I had to reach their branch. I went there, and the police arrested me in Warri and sent me to Benin without telling me what I did.

I said if this were because of the 200 thousand naira my family member sent me, I would pay back; they held me and told me the person who sent me the money did fraudulent business. Like, go arrest the person and leave me alone. I'll send the money back. I was locked up with criminals for two weeks.

The bank or police couldn't reach me to inform me of anything, money I would have paid quickly. I earned in dollars. I lost my $10,000 contract and was jobless for months. I started having mental issues because of the arrest and inhumane treatment.

Don't bank with Access Bank; if you run a legit business, they will ruin your life.
