I just got a mail to forward the original language certificate from Goethe institute. Thought they will skip this part since my spouse is a German citizen?
I’m worried because I didn’t make the last exam I sat for. Is there any option to this case ? The deadline given is too short[/quote

Even if your spouse is german they demand german skills Level A1.

Only reunion to your german child is free from the language certificate.

Good luck

YorubaMod:
Pls guys, I have a cousin who stays in Germany but he was recommending me to a Dutch sch in Lagos, and said I should learn the language there first before relocating.. I wonder if this is necessary or just a trick to push me aside? Pls advise.

Its even cheaper to learn german in Nigeria than going for such courses in Germany.

Speaking german also increase your chance of getting the visa. Good luck

Im residing in western Germany.

Most people around believe that Nigerians are only scammmers 419 etc. Even other African people keep distance. Its nothing to brag with.

My colleagues believe we are still living in huts, its not easy.

Travel / Re: Should I Invest In Nigeria Or Wait Until I Get A Permanent Stay In Abroad? by DortmundGirl(f): 4:58am On Dec 13, 2020
Save your money!!

According to Aufenthaltsgesetz (immigration law of Germany) to buy land or property in Germany doesnt guaranty a residence permit!

They can still ask you to leave the country despite having land or a house if you dont find job after studies unless you open a big company and invest a lot of money in Germany .

Good luck

Family / Re: Ikoyi Marriage Registry: Info Needed! by DortmundGirl(f): 9:29am On Aug 16, 2020
Most people get married in Ikoyi, if their spouse is foreign, cause it's easier for the embassy to check on their marriage from there.
Otherwise the embassy lawyers have to travel far.

But truly speaking the registry people there in ikoyi are thieves. Charging high rates and bribe for the wedding. One friend of mine used to work there years back. With the extra cash he build a fine house o..

I'm tired cause without bribe nothing seems to work in Naija. Go to other countries you don't see such crap. Even Ghana is more developed

So Jonas if you are no scammer, give me your details in germany, so we can confirm.

I'm residing in Dortmund, germany too. But I don't want any relationship with you, just want to find out if you are real. I will gladly inform you where to find other black women in germany, if you are real.

Greetings

Travel / Re: How Possible To Travel Out If You Don't Know Anyone Abroad To Stay With by DortmundGirl(f): 4:26pm On Jun 11, 2020
If you come to Germany with a valid Visa for long term stay (as student, workingvisa or family reunion) you will get a working permit immediately. Then you can find job easily.

If you decide to arrive with visitors Visa or without visa (seeking asylum and so on) you will be restricted from work for some time and it will be hard to get working permit. And without permit you can't land a good job - my opinion.

Secondly I recommend to learn at least little German before you get here. It increases your job opportunities and your situation here a lot.

Just make sure you have enough money for some months time, then stress is little.
Nigerians are to be found in every city now. So you easily connect. But try and make friends outside too, because Nigerians here don't trust each other here.

Good luck

Travel / Re: Difference Between Residence Permit And Citizenship by DortmundGirl(f): 12:40pm On Feb 07, 2020
A residence permit is meant for foreigners, that work in a country, study, are married or having children there. It's a legal permit to live, work and also pay taxes. It can be valid between 6 months to 3 years and must be renewed with the immigration office.

Citizenship means you become a full citizen of the country where you reside, you change your nationality and its usually taking years to obtain it.

Im a woman and a mother. Everywhere in the internet you will be warned not to display to open pictures of your children. Once in the net, it will never disappear cause anybody can download or spread the picture.

I'm not against displaying this sweet girl, but keep private pictures to the family. That's all I'm saying. Seems hard to understand for some folks

I hate the almost naked picture. Is it necessary to display the child to all those paedophiles out there?

I have never met a german named Terri? What name should that be...I wonder. Secondly the grammar shows mistakes that a teacher wouldn't make. Thirdly there are so many nigerians in Germany now, just go to the club and meet some of them. This message is not real

Family / Re: Behaviour Of Men During A Fight by DortmundGirl(f): 7:00pm On Oct 17, 2019
Well thanks for many responses.

My last guy used to play the silent card after every fight, sometimes he wouldn't talk to me for a good week. I really hated this way, since I'm more open and know where to stop. His action destroyed my love.

My best friends husband used to beat her up regularly, she came to work quite often with blue eyes! Thank god she left him after 3 kids..

And finally my neighbours quarrel so loud the whole street can hear them...

Actually they brought up this topic in me, cause they fight like almost every week...

Thanks for all your replies. My favourite is making love after fight, that sounds quite nice

Why are you asking for my opinion and how many men are the subject of your study?

I'm curious that's why. I had in total 3 different men, but experience from my girlfriends also counts into it.

Family / Behaviour Of Men During A Fight by DortmundGirl(f): 2:36pm On Oct 17, 2019
I've come to see many different ways of argument between man and woman around me and out of personal experience.

- some do beat the woman during fight, it's a no go to me,

- some discuss for days, yell and scream. I don't like it so much, am a calm person,

-some totally ignore each other for days and don't speak to each other, can you stand it??

I prefer discussing after a fight and look for solutions together. What's your opinion on that??

Is it necessary for the work visa. If yes, how can I go about it?

Normally your company / employer in Germany will have to fill a form called stellenbeschreibung.

It describes the kind of work that you going to do in Germany with this company. it explains how many hours you're going to work, how your salary is going to be and all that.

Your company can send it to the Bundesagentur für Arbeit in der City and they will decide, if they approve the working permit. That's the way I know it. I don't know if one can apply for working permit without having a certain company to work with

Travel / Re: Travelling To Europe Countries (help Needed) by DortmundGirl(f): 8:13am On Oct 16, 2019
Malta is good for vacation as well as Spain, Portugal and so on. But if you intend to hustle, let me tell you that there is not enough work in malta especially in winter season. It's a island.

I prefer Netherlands or Belgium cause you have loads of blacks there, people seems to be more friendly.

What is your purpose of travelling??

Welcome to Europe, but always consider, that most countries are really cold in winter, so bring warm clothes along. Although Greece is definitely warmer.

[Jquote author=emmanero post=82969863]Please house. I greet all of you.

Please somebody should help me with vthe formate of the contract letter for work visa processing.
Thanks
From my experience one has to apply for a job with a german company first. After being accepted you can apply for visa. But there is also 6months jobsearch visa. Therefore one must have working experience in a qualified job like computers, engineering or maybe have trained being a nurse.

wait and hope it will soon be over

Actually it seems to be the new system. The embassy states in their web page that from the day of application for a appointment it can take up to 12 months before receiving it!!! And then begins the visa procedure which can take another 1 year. Its really annoying and not acceptable

Please i want to ask the gurus in the house...can 3million naira locate me and my wife to Germany on a legal ground?
am currently working as an aircraft refueler ( fuelling of aircraft) while she is a fashion designer.
do we have any chances of relocation?

Have you considered to apply for a working visa with any of the airlines/airports? They always look for workers. Then you would receive via to travel and get a working permit immediately
