PoliticsChief Victor Umeh New Year Message Of Hope by ejioforjm(op): 6:26am On Jan 01, 2017
I thank Almighty God whom in His infinite mercy has made us to see this year of divine manifestation 2017.

I thank God for the just ended year of 2016 and shall not hesitate to state that last year was more or less a very challenging one indeed for all of us.

I want to ask God to grant eternal rest to all those who started with us this journey in 2016 but could not join us to see the beginning of this year 2017, more particularly my immediate younger sister, Mrs Modesta Adaku Alado (JP), who was with me throughout my campaigns starting from 2014 and had to bow to death on the 19th of March 2016. I pray that God will show her mercy and receive her soul in paradise...Amen!

For all of us, last year 2016 was a very challenging year for both my Senatorial District for which am making every effort to represent at the Senate, Anambra people, particularly the Igbo people in Nigeria and Nigerians in general. It was indeed very challenging but I thank God that we all survived the year 2016.

I sincerely commit this year 2017 unto the hands of God Almighty, that He will continue to gild, bless, Shepherd and protect us from any forms of anxiety, hardship and more importantly, that God shall grant us good friendship with people who are well meaning around all of us and the good people of my Senatorial district and Ndigbo in general.

In this year 2017, we are hopeful and looking forward to having a better Nigeria where our people will come out of the recession and Nigerians from all parts will have renewed hope and confidence in our dear country. I pray for an improved tidings in all ramifications and for general progress and well-being of the good people of our country Nigeria.

For my Senatorial District that has been bewildered with litigations, preventing us from having a Senator to represent us at the National Assembly as a Senator, I humbly pray that God will intervene in His mercies to ensure that all those frivolous litigations are dispensed with dispatch, so that the election will be conducted and our people will have a reliable and consistent person who will stand to speak for them at the Senate.

I also use this opportunity to sue for continued patience and peace because what is preventing our Senatorial election is something that is unavoidable. The litigations are going on because we would not want any illegal thing to take place in Anambra Central. It is said that anything good doesn't come so easy! On this note, I urge our people to be patient, believing that in the next six months at most, we must have been through with all these processes and our people will have a Senator representing the zone at this 8th session of the National Assembly.

For those who are constituting themselves as obstacles to the wheels of progress, I advise that they submit themselves to the rule of law and to the final authority of the courts that have jurisdiction over the matter. What they are doing has no chance of survival in law, and they should be able to search their conscience and be able to appreciate that the people of Anambra Central are being denied representation at the Senate thus, losing quite a lot.

For those who think they can never accept what God has ordained, I humbly pray that God will grant them the grace to accept what they cannot change. What God says shall continue to prevail in our lives and when people begin to fight what God had ordained to happen, they will be endangering their future. I urge them to search themselves the way they have been acting. Anybody who knows the truth and decides to fight it, shall have a day of reckoning.

I bear no malice and groge towards anybody. I have chosen to be resilient in going through this process, knowing that there is no alternative in building a better society than being law abiding and accepting the Will of Almighty God in our lives and doing things that will not jeopardize and undermine the well being of my people.

I wish everyone a happy and prosperous new year of 2017. May God be our helper in all our undertakings.

Remember that in this 2017, apart from the Senatorial election of Anambra Central Senatorial Zone which is outstanding, we are going to face and witness another Governorship election in the State. I want to use this medium and opportunity to ask our people to continue to support and vote the party that has changed our story line in Anambra State. That party is APGA, and I still have total confidence and conviction that this party will redeem our lost opportunities as a people. Let us be steadfast and continue to stand by and believe in APGA. We should not make any mistake. When the Governorship election comes this year and our party wins the election, Anambra State will continue to bless the train. The Governor has done well and that is the reason why we are saying that APGA is the vehicle for all good things that will happen to our people politically.

Thank you and God bless.

PoliticsVictor Umeh Justified, As Dozie Nwankwo Empowered Over Six Hundred Persons by ejioforjm(op):
History has it that during last general election, the same enemies of Ndi Anambra went to Goodluck Jonathan and his wife Patience Jonathan, and told him to stop Hon Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo from contesting Federal House of Representatives.

According to them, Dozie Nwankwo is an inlaw to Governor Rotimi Amechi of Rivers State, who was having issues with President Goodluck Jonathan then.

This made Patience Jonathan to bring pressure on Chief Sir Victor Umeh, who was APGA National Chairman at that time, telling him to disqualify Hon Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo from contesting APGA primary.

But Chief Sir Victor Umeh stood his ground, telling anybody who care to listen that he cannot disqualify the an Innocent man.

Chief Victor Umeh made it clear that it is against his conscience, and that only the people of Njikoka/Anaocha/Dunukofia Federal Constituency has the final say on who should represent them, that he is ready to conduct free and fair primaries, and whoever wins should be returned.

True to his word, Chief Sir Victor Umeh conducted free and fair primaries, which Hon Dozie Nwankwo won at White Castle Hotel Neni; against the pressure from the Presidency.

This infuriated the Presidency, especially the wife to the former President, Patience Jonathan, who has her anointed Senatorial candidate of PDP in Anambra Central, and working with enemies of Ndi Anambra, rigged out Chief Sir Victor Umeh, Dozie Nwankwo, Ifeanyi Ibezi, Godson Ezenagu, etc in retaliation.

Dozie Nwankwo was lucky, he got his mandate back, and Chief Sir Victor Umeh got the scam called Anambra Central Senatorial election, nullified and re-run ordered by the Appeal Court, Enugu Division.

Today, because Chief Sir Victor stood his ground, hundreds of people of Njikoka, Anaocha, Dunukofia Federal Constituency were empowered by Dozie Nwankwo, as cars, motorcycles, tricycles, grinding machines, sewing machines, hair dryers etc., were given to them.

Because Chief Sir Victor Umeh stood his ground, and conducted free and fair primaries, today hundreds of widows got sewing machine as empowerment from Dozie Nwankwo.

Because Chief Sir Victor Umeh stood his ground against pressure from the Presidency and some PDP members from Anambra Central. Today, all the ward chairmen in fifty one wards of Anaocha, Dunukofia, Njikoka federal Constituency got motocycle each from Hon Dozie Nwankwo.

Because Chief Sir Victor Umeh stood his ground, and refused to disqualify Dozie Nwankwo. Today, hundreds of people got grinding machines, sewing machines, hair dryers as empowerment from Dozie Nwankwo.

Because Chief Sir Victor Umeh stood his ground, today hundreds of physically challenged persons got wheelchair.

Interestingly, by next week, Hon. Dozie Nwankwo will be kick-off free medical eye treatment in designated towns across the three local government of Njikoka, Anaocha and Dunukofia.

Had it been Chief Sir Victor Umeh said yes to the evil intention of those who want Dozie Nwankwo disqualified, sure all these empowerment will not be possible today.

Hon. Dozie Nwankwo of APGA is just eleven months in the federal house of Representatives, and has his judgement the same day Chief Sir Victor Umeh got his own court ordered re-run.

The same enemies of Ndi Anambra got APGA Azubike Okoye of Agulu, Anaocha I Constituency rigged out, but Azubike Okoye got the court reinstated him, and has massive empowerment of his constituency some time ago.

As the same enemies of Ndi Anambra continue to deny Ndi Anambra Central from having a Senator, we know it is not long, for nobody can stop idea it's time has come.

Kudos to Hon. Dozie Nwankwo
Kudos to Chief Sir Victor Umeh
Kudos to Chief Dr. Ike Victor Oye
Kudos to Gov Willie Obiano

Congrats to All Progressives Grand Alliance.

PoliticsWhy Ohamadike Must Go To The Senate Part 1 by Chizoba Diamond Ejiofor by ejioforjm(op): 6:20pm On Mar 17, 2016
The recent activities of Fulani cattle rearers in the South-East obviously threaten the life and existence of those living within their areas of grazing, especially in the rural areas.

It is not in doubt that there is hardly any community in the Igbo land where you will not find Fulani herdsmen. What is however most disturbing to farmers and land owners is the way they forcefully colonize, kill, maim and allow their cattle to destroy farm crops wherever they set their feet. They have sadly transformed themselves into landlords.

Just last month the people of Ukwulu community in Dunukofia Local Government Area (LGA) of Anambra State decried the invasion of their farmlands by Fulani herdsmen.

The stories trailing the rampage of Fulani herdsmen and their cattle in Igbo land are therefore as ugly as they are most discomforting.

We need to do something about this situation before it gets out of hands. One would wonder what the situation would have been if the citizens had decided to take the law into their hands during the incident.

We need to do something now to stop this senseless killing and destruction. Ndigbo have been pressed to the wall.

The most worrisome part of the whole story is that the PDP Senators from the South-East have not done much to address these ugly incidences.

The basic responsibility of a Senator is to protect the people of his or her constituents. But unfortunately Senator from Igbo land are just like spectators and observers in National Assembly.

How I wish Chief Sir Dr. Victor Umeh is already in the Red Chamber. He is a man who will represent Anambra Central and Ndigbo the best. His fearless, bold and courageous personality will make his voice heard at the Senate.

Chief Umeh was said to have been arrested in Enugu, the capital of Enugu State at about 9am on Thursday.

Reasons for Chief Umeh’s arrest is related to Nnamdi Kalu, and his view against the killing of innocent IPOB and MASSOB members.

PoliticsFormer Governor Peter Obi Is Not My Best Friend, He Is My Brother – Umeh by ejioforjm(op): 8:14am On Feb 28, 2016
Chief Sir Victor Umeh on Thursday recounted his experience with the former governor of Anambra state noting that he was the brain box behind his successes.

"I protected him as a brother but at last, he started fighting me".

Ohamadike also stated that he insisted on Local Government councils elections but the former governor later went against the December 4th 2009 agreement.. He recounted how Governor Peter Obi sent some people (including the then commissioner for work) to his Enugu home to inform him he would not conduct Local Government elections rather he would appoint Transition Chairmen.

“I didn't path way with Peter Obi rather he turned against me because I insisted on Local Government councils elections.

“I fought very hard for Peter Obi's victories from the pooling units to the post election matters including court cases

“When Obi was having issues of tenure duration, I was the one that pressured that Peter Obi's tenure would end on 26th May 2010, anyone can look it up on Sun Newspaper” he said

Ohamadike also stated how he convinced Ojukwu to endorse former Governor Peter Obi for his second tenure solely for the interest of the party and for Ndi Anambra.

He revealed that even after Governor Peter Obi left office, they had a meeting in which they resolved that Peter would become the Leader and Chairman Board of Trustee but he rather left the party before the National Convention because he was hoping on national appointment from the former President.

“It was partly in appreciation for what I did for Peter Obi that led the Agulu community to conferred me with the title of Ohamadike Agulu which I adopted as next after my name. But it is unfortunate that the same Peter Obi has turned around to insight the people against me. He also sponsored some court cases against me and even left me at a point and adopted Maxi Okwu against my position as the National Chairman of the party"

He further stated that even in the face of the tribulations, the people of Agulu never abandoned him, stressing that he is always at home whenever he is in Agulu.

“It is clear that Agulu people love me so much, that is why they now regret what happened during last election. I believe that the mammoth crowd that honored me in Agulu today are sincerely supporting me because they have seen that I am innocent of all they were told against me"

ADVISE TO PETER OBI

“I know that Peter Obi is not a happy man presently. He acts like someone who does not have Christ in his life. I advise him to accept Christ in his life so that he can be able to make the right decisions. He lives a fake life and that is not good enough for him. Let him take some times and retrace his actions so he can see where he made mistakes in his career" he concluded.
