Understanding your purpose is the key to a success, it really helps in our vocation, choice of work, careers. To many life looks as though it presents many choices some feel they can choose anything appealing to them at a time and dump it when it is no longer appealing to them, life on earth is once but very short though it appears to be unending in its opportunities and attraction.
Friend let’s trust God for insight and understanding as we check his word together.
Jesus was talking to his disciple certainly these word of His are not parable because name was mentioned (Lazarus).
Your purpose of creation which determine who you are, your experience, the challenge you face and the reason behind that situation you find yourself in was burning in the heart of Jesus which He has no other means than using the word marriage to introduce it to us for better understanding. Though you are not married yet and congratulations to those that are married, we have all heard about happenings in marriage how good and bad it might be. I prophesy to those that are married, that torn in your marriage is uprooted now in the of name of Jesus(amen) and to singles in the house the Lord will release grace of making the right decision in your choice of spouse(amen).
Luke 16:18, Jesus began His word with ‘whosoever’, this connote no exception, no age limit, status, caliber nor sex put away his wife (purpose), leaves is purpose of existence and cliff to another man’s purpose of living commits adultery (Exodus 20:14) and it is written in the law, thou shall not commit adultery. When a man put away his purpose and marries another one Jesus said, such commit adultery and he is committed to an adulterated version of life, therefore such person is no longer the complete man God made him.
Looking through Luke 16:19, the certainty of the man and his wealth was confirm Jesus added that the rich man was clothed in purple which represent royalty (Revelation 5:10) and fine linen and feared sumptuously everyday. The rich man in this passage had everything. Being clothed, covered and protected which he never labored for, all these were giving to him as joint hairs of the kingdom of God. Every man on earth is enriched by God for a particular reason that includes you friend.
Whatever implies clothing, shelter, protection in our life came as a deliberate incentive to make us live for the reason (purpose) we were born for (Matthew 6:31-32)
Why will you eat ,drink and forget the reason why God gave YOU life and all things like this rich man
