Mercy Chinwo’s producer accuses her of failing to pay royalties for her hit tracks

A driver in Lagos was detained by the police for cramming fifteen kids into a car

A driver was detained by members of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos Police Department after packing fifteen children inside a Volkswagen Passat.

Around 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, anxious bystanders on the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge reported seeing the car.

When the police intervened, they discovered that the driver—who had been hired to drive the kids to the beach—had packed 11 kids in one car and confined four of them inside the trunk. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

A statement from the Association of Movie Producers (AMP) announced that Adanma Luke has been suspended indefinitely.

A 22-year-old boy was apprehended in Edo State with a rifle and POS machine while traveling from Lagos to Anambra

The Edo State Police Command has detained a 22-year-old teenager named Francis Okoye Obinna after discovering that he was in possession of a revolver and a Point of Sale (POS) device.

Responding to the gravity of the accusation, police operatives undertook a trip to Lagos to verify the veracity of Obinna’s claims.

However, their investigations yielded contradictory findings, casting doubt on the authenticity of the suspect’s narrative.

“But in sharp contrast to that, however, the adulterous woman and her husband’s relatives mobilized and challenged her for exposing her husband to the point of calling witnesses.

Akwa Ibom governor offers automatic employment to elder sister of late makeup artist, renovates family house

A drunk driver crashes a truck into a bus, killing two people

The bus driver and his motor boy were instantly killed when an intoxicated truck driver struck a bus on Wednesday, April 10, near the Castinjo/Ola bus stop near the Ota-Idiroko Expressway in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State.

This was revealed to journalists in a statement by Babatunde Akinbiyi, the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency spokeswoman.

According to an eyewitness account, the truck driver lost control and slammed into the bus that was traveling toward Ota, according to Akinbiyi. The driver was apparently intoxicated. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

The crash, which reportedly occurred around 6.48 am, involved a MAN Diesel truck with no number plate and a bus with number plate LND 224 GF.

The wreckage of the crash have been cleared from the road and taken to Onipanu Divisional Police Station. At the same time, the dead have been deposited at Ifo General Hospital.

The statement partly read, “According to an eyewitness account, the MAN Diesel truck with no number plate was driving inbound Idiroko from Ota when the driver, due to drunk driving and excessive speed, lost control and rammed into the bus driving in opposite direction from Idiroko to Ota.

“The driver of the bus and the motor boy died on the spot due to the impact of the collision while the drunk driver of the truck and its motor boy ran away.
