Congratulations to you and your brother.

How did you tackle the 1st refusal reasons? Can you please initiate a step by step guide on each of the reasons. Thank you.

Hi,

As stated, I can only preview an sop for free as a way of giving back to this platform.

every application is different and so are the reasons and circumstances for addressing a refusal. I will not be in any way offering a step by step detailed explanation or guide on each of the reasons. is your application exactly the same as his? do you have the same background? family ties, work experience.
It is not advisable to copy and paste from anyone's application hence the reason why there are professionals you can consult to guide you through a tailor made application to suite your circumstances.

I wish you all the best

IT'S A PPR ALERT!!!!

I applied for my study permit last year and got it within a month. Now I am a proud graduate of UOttawa.

Background story to a very complex application.

My younger brother finished WAEC in 2008 ( yes 13 years study gap). Aged 31 years old.
somehow his Bachelor's degree didn't get any transcript so we couldn't do anything about it but opted for a two years diploma program. (ordinary diploma).

We started the process for my younger brother in January this year and got denied within a month. I have been his sponsor throughout the process so I had to provide proof of support and sponsorship.

Reasons : Personal assets and financial assets
Travel History
Purpose of visit

How can I be helping others with their applications and enjoying Canadian education when my brother is getting denied! Never! Never!

We got back to the drawing board, worked on his living expenses, proof of funds, home ties, literally everything explaining all the visa officers concerns with a well presented sop ( I didn't study English for nothing). GCMS notes didn't come until two months later so I just used the visa officers concerns to address the refusal because no time.

New application: April 23rd
medical request : August 20th
Medical passed August 26th
PPR and approval August 30th.

Can you get a study permit with a 13 year study gap?
Can you apply for an ordinary diploma ?
Can you get an approval after a refusal?

I am here to tell you that with Faith and prayers all things are possible. Most importantly put in the best work on your study permit application after a refusal.
If you need to consult and pay for services don't be stingy to your future. No one will do all the hard work for you free of charge.

I will keep giving back and reviewing sop's for free because I have benefited from this platform but please note that I WILL NOT work on your study permit application free of charge.

Find attached the timeline for your encouragement.

PS he doesn't even know its been approved because I have the log in details. I can't wait to surprise him with this good news.

meanwhile let me do and bring my dear mama over too. Our families must jappa with us in Jesus name

Good morning my people.
I applied 13th May, woke up this morning to send a mail to ircc nairobi.
I got my application refused based on personal assets and financial status.
I paid 11k CAD and I still showed a POF of 15.5m after that.
I will pay full tuition this time around and am waiting for my gcms notes too.

Please I will need the services of some gurus in the house.

Please how can I contact frankboboe and lekiboboe?

Love you all

As I always tell people. It is not by paying fees alone or showing a hefty balance.

do you have strong home ties that you were able to prove?
do you have a stable income ?
did you get lump deposits into your account for this process that you were not able to justify ?
does your study plan correlate with your work or previous studies?

also for those that have done master and want to claim that the masters they want to pursue is their 1st masters, make sure u do ur home work well.check ur Facebook or social media profile to make sure u did not include it there nor post things there that indicate that.also, Edith ur Lindekin account. IRCC I gathered are thorough on Nigerians these days ooo.U claim u dont have masters but ur Lindekin account is showing u have masters, which do u believe IRCC will believe ?

I applied for my study permit to do a second Masters and stated boldly in my SOP. My first Masters was done in 2017 and I states I wanted to do a second Masters and I also had an active express entry profile at the same time which I explained properly.
I did get my study permit without any issues

Good day gurus,

Please I’m working but not employed and I’m paid in cash, please how do I go about the “letter of employment” and “pay slip”??

What do you mean you are working but not employed? do you run your own business? when you say you are paid cash? do you mean the funds you want to use for your study permit is cash? you must have a proper bank statement showing your source of funds, an employment letter, salary pay slip and everything necessary to prove you are working .

I think my payslip will explain that
I no explain anything but I only upload my payslip . But to me lump sum is a single payment deposit once

The most important factor in talking about proof of funds is ensuring you can explain reasonably the source of the funds lodged in your account. Also, it is important to show a stable source of income, home ties and a great study plan.

Good morning guys, how are y’all doing today? So, my Gcms note has arrived and the only refusal ground for the application was

*Pursuant to paragraph 220 (a) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue.

Pls gurus in the house, I need your candid contributions. Thank you

Sorry about your refusal. From the reason the visa officer gave, it seems the main concern is how you can afford the studies especially seeing that it is for two years.
Your proof of funds and living expenses must be commensurate to prove you won't need to work in Canada. its mostly your funds that us the issue here .

masters in Canada is usually 2 years .The thing with self sponsorship is that you must have your full school fees ,ur living expenses and like 3000CAD for transportation and miscellaneous in your account or give a valid explanation on how the money will come with substantial evidence. so if u got that covered, u r good to go.

This is incorrect. There a several one year masters degree programs in Canada. Masters in Canada is not usually two years please .

If I have the financial resources, can I sponsor myself?

Top of the morning to you. I want to request a refund at NSCC and the next resumption is September of next year, too long, I can't wait.

So, I want to apply to another school that's available for Winter.
I have a 2:2 in “English” and I chose to do a postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management. I'm now open to other courses.

With my B.A in English, what other courses should be considered and the schools that offer them.
Thank you.

Have you applied for your study permit already? you may be able to apply for courses related to communications or marketing with your background.
You would need to be committed enough to this process to do your research and check the schools and provinces that offer your preferred choice of program. Google is your best friend

Hello house
Please I need help
I and my family are currently thinking Of relocating to Canada and I would love to know what my chances are. 1 am 28 and have only a ND in computer science. My husband is 37 and has a Bsc from a Cyprus uni. We have 3 kids and we are not thinking of applying through express entry as our chances as we know would be slim, please are there other options we can use? We don't also mind going back to school but we also don't know which one of us would be more eligible for a student visa. I was thinking of going to study LPN in a college but out last child would have to go with me as he's still a baby and I don't know if it would reduce my chances and if my husband must go first then, what should be apply for? These are our my worries. We have travel history from turkey, and we've also gone to Dubai and UK with 2 of our kids. Please help us make a good decision. Note: my husband is not really interested in staying in Canada permernently as he's currently into farming and he's passionate about it, he's more interested in securing one for I and the kids for future sake.

Please my people, make una help us

Hi lovely,

you may have to go for a diploma or advanceddiploma course in a closely related field. Most importantly. look for schools that offer the same courses you are interested in.

next step is to plan your finances, then secure your admission and begin the visa process

Hello, Quick question.

Will a HIV positive result affect medical? will a hiv positive person fail the medical test?

Thanks a lot

HIV is considered highly transmissible and definitely may cost the Canadian government a lot of resources . if you had a tourist visa you could visit and apply from within and can't be refused on medical grounds but from naija it's a fail .

Good evening,

Please how can I appeal.

Please kindly state the process or procedures

your first option shouldn't be to appeal. it should be to get to the bottom of the visa officers complaints. then you can take it from there. that's why everyone is talking about gcms notes.

Good evening my people.

Am a passive reader, After reading lot of posts on this platform. I decide to run my application by myself, which I successfully did.

I submitted my application on 10th July 2021
I did my biometrics on 15th july 2021
Got a correspondent letter this morning 25th of august 2021 exactly a month and 15days after biometrics

About an hour after the correspondent letter, I got a refusal

The below were stated in the letter

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit
application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet
the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and
Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of
residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.
You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can
demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be
accompanied by a new processing fee.
Sincerely,
High Commission of Canada

After reading all they wrote up there,

I immediately ordered for my gmc note.

Am admissions is February so I still have the time to reapply, which am doing immediately I receive my gmc note.

In my previous application
I have 2 landed properties with buildings
3 landed properties with no building
Am married with marriage certificate and pictures
Statement of accounts of around $100,000 about N40M I can’t remember precisely
I have a company here in Nigeria

Seeing what the V.O wrote got me confused.

Am definitely applying again, I need people who have gone through this path and I require advise and professional that I can work with who have handled this type of situation before.

I will be glad to read from you all

You can chat me or call me on 07062118998

Thanks
Best regards

Sorry about your Refusal.
First and foremost, gcms is your friend. order your notes ASAP. also this is a public platform so it's not wise to put your information out here because it makes you look desperate. I recommend you chat up a few people who can be of assistance to you and take it from there instead of waiting for someone you don't know to call you.

Hi

I have a degree in English but the result is poor so I can't apply for post graduate study,so I decided to go for a diploma May 3rd 2021 & also change in career, admission was given to resume in September 2021, I got a response from IRCC today August 25 2021 & was denied my study visa, reasons they wrote was ties in Canada & my home country & reason for my visit.please I need an advice on what next to do for a way forward.

Hi Vivi,

it depends on what you regard as poor. I also studied English in my undergraduate but I had a good result.
in your case even if its a 3rd class some colleges still accept third class for pgd so you should definitely consider it as against a diploma.

First thing would be to give us your profile, then we advise whilst you await your gcms notes which you should apply for tonight.

Regards.

please I need help in writing a wonderful statement of purpose

it's hard for anyone to write your sop unless you want to pay them to do so in which case you provide your details and they craft a beautifully convincing epistle for the visa officer. Otherwise no one knows you or your circumstances better than you do. That being said, I suggest you use professional services which you will pay for as no one here will spend time writing it for you.

here are a few tips if you are willing to write it yourself.

Professional and academic background
study Plan
why study in Canada
personal assets and finances
family and Home ties
documents attached .

Wow, such an inspiring story. Congratulations on the completion of your degree. I will be leaving in 2 weeks. Did you apply together with your family or immediately after you got yours?

I applied alone because my family already had trv and my child has a Canadian passport so I used them as home ties but later travelled with them.
I suggest you apply for your people as soon as you yourself land if they don't have their visas yet

First thing would be to order for your gcms notes immediately as your reasons may be generic but the notes can pinpoint the exact reasons for denial.

Also, you may need to provide information on your background, application details and so on to enable us give a bird's eye view on your situation.
