Leyemoshood: Hi, As stated, I can only preview an sop for free as a way of giving back to this platform. every application is different and so are the reasons and circumstances for addressing a refusal. I will not be in any way offering a step by step detailed explanation or guide on each of the reasons. is your application exactly the same as his? do you have the same background? family ties, work experience. It is not advisable to copy and paste from anyone's application hence the reason why there are professionals you can consult to guide you through a tailor made application to suite your circumstances. I wish you all the best 3 Likes |

IT'S A PPR ALERT!!!! I applied for my study permit last year and got it within a month. Now I am a proud graduate of UOttawa. Background story to a very complex application. My younger brother finished WAEC in 2008 ( yes 13 years study gap). Aged 31 years old. somehow his Bachelor's degree didn't get any transcript so we couldn't do anything about it but opted for a two years diploma program. (ordinary diploma). We started the process for my younger brother in January this year and got denied within a month. I have been his sponsor throughout the process so I had to provide proof of support and sponsorship. Reasons : Personal assets and financial assets Travel History Purpose of visit How can I be helping others with their applications and enjoying Canadian education when my brother is getting denied! Never! Never! We got back to the drawing board, worked on his living expenses, proof of funds, home ties, literally everything explaining all the visa officers concerns with a well presented sop ( I didn't study English for nothing). GCMS notes didn't come until two months later so I just used the visa officers concerns to address the refusal because no time. New application: April 23rd medical request : August 20th Medical passed August 26th PPR and approval August 30th. Can you get a study permit with a 13 year study gap? Can you apply for an ordinary diploma ? Can you get an approval after a refusal? I am here to tell you that with Faith and prayers all things are possible. Most importantly put in the best work on your study permit application after a refusal. If you need to consult and pay for services don't be stingy to your future. No one will do all the hard work for you free of charge. I will keep giving back and reviewing sop's for free because I have benefited from this platform but please note that I WILL NOT work on your study permit application free of charge. Find attached the timeline for your encouragement. PS he doesn't even know its been approved because I have the log in details. I can't wait to surprise him with this good news. meanwhile let me do and bring my dear mama over too. Our families must jappa with us in Jesus name 52 Likes 1 Share

Kaydelegend01: As I always tell people. It is not by paying fees alone or showing a hefty balance. do you have strong home ties that you were able to prove? do you have a stable income ? did you get lump deposits into your account for this process that you were not able to justify ? does your study plan correlate with your work or previous studies? Enjay316: I applied for my study permit to do a second Masters and stated boldly in my SOP. My first Masters was done in 2017 and I states I wanted to do a second Masters and I also had an active express entry profile at the same time which I explained properly. I did get my study permit without any issues 1 Like |

ManlikeDee: What do you mean you are working but not employed? do you run your own business? when you say you are paid cash? do you mean the funds you want to use for your study permit is cash? you must have a proper bank statement showing your source of funds, an employment letter, salary pay slip and everything necessary to prove you are working . KellyKk: The most important factor in talking about proof of funds is ensuring you can explain reasonably the source of the funds lodged in your account. Also, it is important to show a stable source of income, home ties and a great study plan. |

Naheem4real: Sorry about your refusal. From the reason the visa officer gave, it seems the main concern is how you can afford the studies especially seeing that it is for two years. Your proof of funds and living expenses must be commensurate to prove you won't need to work in Canada. its mostly your funds that us the issue here . let's keep faith and hope alive |

Toopee: Have you applied for your study permit already? you may be able to apply for courses related to communications or marketing with your background. You would need to be committed enough to this process to do your research and check the schools and provinces that offer your preferred choice of program. Google is your best friend 1 Like 1 Share |

LovelyAustin: Hi lovely, you may have to go for a diploma or advanceddiploma course in a closely related field. Most importantly. look for schools that offer the same courses you are interested in. next step is to plan your finances, then secure your admission and begin the visa process let's keep Faith and hope alive 2 Likes |

Admin9: HIV is considered highly transmissible and definitely may cost the Canadian government a lot of resources . if you had a tourist visa you could visit and apply from within and can't be refused on medical grounds but from naija it's a fail . Let's Keep Faith and Hope Alive |

firstseyifat: your first option shouldn't be to appeal. it should be to get to the bottom of the visa officers complaints. then you can take it from there. that's why everyone is talking about gcms notes. |

vividumebi: Hi Vivi, it depends on what you regard as poor. I also studied English in my undergraduate but I had a good result. in your case even if its a 3rd class some colleges still accept third class for pgd so you should definitely consider it as against a diploma. First thing would be to give us your profile, then we advise whilst you await your gcms notes which you should apply for tonight. Regards. |

Flowwwwbiz: it's hard for anyone to write your sop unless you want to pay them to do so in which case you provide your details and they craft a beautifully convincing epistle for the visa officer. Otherwise no one knows you or your circumstances better than you do. That being said, I suggest you use professional services which you will pay for as no one here will spend time writing it for you. here are a few tips if you are willing to write it yourself.

Hi Moji, First thing would be to order for your gcms notes immediately as your reasons may be generic but the notes can pinpoint the exact reasons for denial. Also, you may need to provide information on your background, application details and so on to enable us give a bird's eye view on your situation.
