Nothing has changed,we've called and written to Jamb office several times.Checked the reprint countless times.

Someone said it will be sorted out. People that still have this issue are mostly Tuesday candidates. Hopefully they will write on Tuesday.

Those saying exams have not been rescheduled, are you people checking your slips day and night because my Lad didn't write yesterday, 27th, they asked us to check at mid night which we did but didn't see anything. We checked at 3am and still didn't see until I checked and saw it by 5am today. Her exam is today 28th by 3pm at another center. Please let's check nonstop. God bless.

People have been checking and it is still reading the original date. Some check as many as times as possible. In my niece's case, the whole family is checking.
It is really not fair what these guys are doing.

Good evening,
I need help. I did a drop box and my passport was returned. I was asked to schedule interview appointment. Are my supposed to pick a date like others (available date for Lagos is Aug 2024) or I will be given a special consideration for a closer date?

Thanks
Special consideration. Call them for more information.

@seun. This needs to be on the front page. It is so unfair for JAMB to do this to the children. Since Tuesday their exams hasn't been rescheduled.

ANYONE DROPBOX ON 8TH MARCH 2023 OR BEFORE IN ABUJA AND NOT YET GOT THEIR PASSPORTS BACK.

So even those that submitted on the 01 March 2023 are not yet receiving any updates

You will get hbp with the way you are going. Just take it easy and be patient. That's why it is good to apply way ahead of your intended trip.
Be calming down small small. Some people are yet to get date ooooo.

I had my B1/B2 interview yesterday 18th Apr and my visa was denied along with my wife and my 3yrs old baby.

Location: U.S embassy Lagos

Our interview timing scheduled for 7:30 a.m we reach embassy around 5:45am, soon the security screening started and people started lining up according to the timing slot. We were lined up and like 70 other applicant were in front of us.

Note: we have all documents intact all letters from my company, payment receipt for the conference, invitation letter, bank statement both company and my personal statement.
She didn't give us any chance to present any of the documents.

What really went wrong in case of another time.

So sorry about your experience. Let me state a few things based on my little experience.

1. Travelling with your wife and child for a work related trip is a red flag.

2. It is not really a summer travel time for Nigerians. So it makes no sense to them for the whole family to take a trip at this time. Nigerians travel a lot around July - September when school is out. I checked and the conference is in June.

3. No home ties. Nothing to bring you back to naija. You are travelling with your family.

So apply alone next time then after the trip they can apply. All the best.

Please is been over a year now , my sister is searching for interview date. How can she get a date. She has paid couple of guys money to help her with date but non come out positive. Please any information on getting interview date for B1/B2 visa new application.

If she had applied over year ago, her interview would have been this month or earlier. Let her pick a date on her own. Lagos is now August 2024. She should pick it.

Hi all,

I hope this is the right place to ask this.

I was invited to an event in USA, expenses of round-trip airfare, hotel, transport have been covered by the company hosting the event. I also have a letter of invitation which should be submitted with my Visa application.

From what I've read, my Visa category should be B-1 (Business, Visit)

However, I noticed on the embassy website that there is a COVID-19 vaccination requirement. I have not been vaccinated and if I do it tomorrow, the timeframe from tomorrow to the day of travel would be 7 days. But the requirement of the status "fully-vaccinated" stipulates that anyone intending to enter the US by air must have been vaccinated at least 14 days prior to travel.

Does this mean I cannot attend this event, or is there an exception I should know of?

Thanks for your replies!

Call the airline and ask them..

Good morning, apart from travelstart and wakanow does anyone know where else to purchase reasonably priced tickets...cos the fares we are seeing on these sites are crazy ooh!

Try Ajala.NG

Although ticket prices have gone up. Keep checking prices. It might come down in May.

Are you sure about the vaccination? I thought it was compulsory. Check well.

How does this "read" funny?

Honestly, if my experience got worse, I may lose my leg. Of which I know I will rather take my life than live without any part of my body.

Replace coke with zobo made with lots of ginger and pineapple.

Hi everyone, please I've a quick question; if I apply for the US B1/B2 visa today, how long will it take to get an appointment date for an interview?

I've a lot of people telling me that it's impossible to get an appointment this year, with one telling me that I've to pay 500k to him in other to get an appointment. I don't want to be scammed so I thought of making inquires from you all

Don't give anyone a dime. There's no appointment for this year. A lot of people are monitoring the site so they can change their. Nothing! Lagos should be around July - August 2024.

Please how long does it take to get back your passport if your visa is approved. I intend to travel in two weeks time after my interview. Is it possible for it to have arrived by then?

Not possible. Some stay as long as 6weeks. Don't buy your ticket until you have your passport in your hands.

It’s based on medical grounds for my son who is supposed to be having a surgery on the 30th of May 2023. So that’s the reason why I’m going to be making an expedited appointment. Besides, the consular officer didn’t even ask if there are any supporting documents to back up our claims, like the letter that was addressed to the embassy from the hospital in the United States. Thanks 😊

I guess the issue might be your job, then travelling with your family.
As a non citizen, your medical bill will be over the roof cos of no insurance.
If you apply next time, please only the caregiver and your son should apply. Have financial documents for back up.

May God heal your child.

Hello, can someone help with questions ask parents visiting their kids in USA? My mother in-law interview is in a weeks time. Also when filing the application, i chose lagos but got visa appointment in abuja. Is there going to be a problem?

Call the embassy to ask them about locations.
Just normal family questions. She shouldn't say she's going to help with their children. Visitation is just fine.

Hello guys. How is everyone paying for their flight tickets? I have tried to pay in naira but it seems none of the airlines are accepting naira. I do not have a means of paying in dollars. Is there any other way to book these flights? most of the offices i also visited are quoting outrageous prices. Kindly please advise. TIA

I've not booked direct from the airline. I always use Ajala.NG. I've not had issues with them. Just communicate everything you want via email so conversations are binding. Check their website for fares. The difference is not much. They also have pay on instalments option..

Also like someone said earlier, always book in advance. I do 3-4 months ahead. Now is high season so tickets are really high. Tickets for summer that I saw in February was really affordable.

No, i never over stayed. I contacted an agent to do it and he made a mistake with my application, he only told me about the mistake after the application was submitted. Im sure he did it intentionally but i leave everythimg to God.Thats why im scared.

Please for future applications, avoid agents. Doing it yourself is actually very easy and straightforward.
