Teewhy2: You are not getting my inquiry sir, you know what one can consider a standard sitting room, you are in the business. Just give me a ballpark quotation of what it takes to put a ceiling over a standard sitting room. I have noticed you avoid making your costs public and that's not good advertising, also you are selling polystyrene as a cheaper alternative to the others so lets see the cost savings |

Teewhy2: Lovely work Sorry you did not address the second part of my post, what will be the cost estimate for covering a standard sitting room |
Properties / Re: Alternative Building Material (expanded Polystyrene) by Footstradamus(m): 4:18pm On May 04, 2021 |
Teewhy2: Most of this thread is focused on parapet fascia, don't u handle ceilings? I have seen some polystyrene ceilings and i must say one cannot tell the difference from POP. If you handle can we get like a ball park estimate of what it will take to cover a standard sitting room 1 Like |

n3xt: Food for thought At the end of the day i guess the deciding factor will be taste seeing as there really isn't that much of a cost difference all things considered. And these days most people just go with what is trending rather than risk doing something new. |

Adedward: 14k is much oo brother although i kind of get what you saying, if I am faced with 20 windows that's 280k in saving if i go sliding over casement, however i do not believe 280k is really that much in the grand scheme of things, traditional sliding windows are now considered "old school" in a way |

Adedward: Thanks a lot, a cost saving of 14k per window is nothing to be sniffed at if you looking at 20+ windows 2 Likes |

Adedward: Woah, inflation is killing us in this country I have always wondered and permit me to pick your brain on this, what is the cost savings on sliding windows in lieu of casement windows, lets use the 4ft by 4ft you posted, if i decided to go sliding on that with burglary what would it cost? Tnx in advance 2 Likes |

Some of you really need to grow up No one got to chose, White, Black, Asian, African, Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Tiv etcetera none of us got to chose. I have always found discrimination absurd. Most of you are determined to kill a very educative thread for reasons best known to you and yes that includes those discussing a new forum. This has gone on long enough, back to why we are all here. 4 Likes |

michlins: Nice you finally decided to divulge your method. Still not a fan of metal doors used as interior doors. Having said that we will be needing at least 5 metal doors for exterior doors (single) and two doubles. You will get priority when the time comes as the project is in your backyard. Cheers 6 Likes |
