Photos of a vegetable seller picking his wares from a dirty drainage to sell to unsuspecting buyers has emerged on Twitter.

The vegetable seller, who sells his goods from a wheel barrow, had a minor accident and some of his vegetables fell into the gutter.

Not willing to run at a loss, he bent and dipped his hand into the dirty water in the drainage to pick his tomatoes and cabbage. He then added them to the clean ones on the wheelbarrow and continued on his way.

Micheal Nnadi, a seminarian at the Good Shepherd Catholic Major Seminary in Kaduna State, who was killed by kidnappers, was buried on Tuesday February 11.

Nnadi,18 and three other seminarians were abducted from their hostel by kidnappers on January 10, 2020, and taken to an unknown destination. While the three other victims were later released from captivity, Nnadi was not lucky as he was killed and his corpse found along the Kaduna- Abuja highway on February 2nd.

Friends, family, and colleagues of the deceased could not hold back their tears as his remains was laid to rest at the school’s cemetery.

The funeral mass which had in attendance Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Mathew Kukah, Bishop of Kaduna Diocese, Most Reverend Mathew Ndagoso was held in honour of the seminarian.

Bishop Kukah in his sermon asked Christians to keep their faith alive despite the trying moment.

He called on the government to adopt a holistic approach in fighting insecurity in the country rather than play the blame game.

While describing the security situation as a sign of a near failed state, he called for the sack of the service chiefs, stating tht they ''have run out of fresh ideas to tackle the situation.''

The Catholic Bishops Conference at the burial also called on the Federal Government to declare a state of emergency in the nation’s security and protect its citizens from being killed endlessly.

The government of Rivers State has identified another serial killer, Thankgod Nemi, who was allegedly involved in the killing of several females in low priced hotels in parts the state.

In a report by daily Post, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of the state, Zacchaeus Adangor, disclosed this in an application to withdraw and re-file a murder charge against the suspected serial killer Gracious David-West.

Adangor said the Rivers state government have valid proof to show that the new suspect, Thankgod Nemi was also culpable in the serial killing.

Following the decision of the Rivers state government, Counsel to the accused, Vincent Chukwu made application to the court for more time to enable him go through the processes served.

Speaking to newsmen, the Attorney General, Justice, Zacchaeus Adangor said the state government is convinced that the criminal case involved the second defendant Nemi.

According to him,

“

Remember that we took over that matter from the Police and it was only last week we got the case file from the police.

“We studied the case file and found that the investigation has another suspect different from the accused, David-West. So, we decided to prepare fresh information together with proofs of evidence as required by Law to have Thankgod Nemi included in the fresh charge.”

The FUTA school father and his school daughter who ganged up with others to beat up a 100 level student have been arrested and were filmed in a police station.

The school father, his school daughter, and about three other girls organized to beat up Bolu, a 100 Level Ecotourism and Wildlife Management student of the Federal University of Technology, Akure.

The assault angered people after the video was shared online and students went after the school father. The school father and school daughter were soon arrested.

In the video showing them in the station, people can be heard screaming angrily at them in the background.

"I'll kill you myself," a male voice is heard saying to the culprits.

A mob of angry students are reportedly waiting outside the station to see how far the case will go.

La Joie Apera stated that she knows her husband is a womanizer and she's okay with it. She further told those reporting him to her that it is none of their business as no one is perfect.
