The family of Emiliano Sala's Pilot David Ibbotson are seeking donations to restart the search for his body, after the footballer was pulled from the plane wreckage yesterday.

Ibbotson was not inside the wreckage of the plane found and experts say it is unlikely he will ever be found.

A Go Fund Me page has so far raised more than £18,000.

A message on the site read: "Please help bring David Ibbotson home and help give him the send off he deserves.

"As a family we are relying on the kindness of the good hearted people to help us raise the much needed funds to help us find our beloved Dad, Husband and Son.

"As a family we are trying to come to terms with the tragedy and the loss of two incredible men.

"To be told the search has now been called off for the foreseeable future has only made this tragic time more difficult.

"We can not bare the thought of him being alone, we need him home so that we are able to lay him to rest."

MySportDab report Sala's body was recovered in a privately-funded search which had been launched after the initial search was called off.

Fire at the youth team training centre of one of Brazil's biggest football clubs Flamengo has killed 10 people.

Three people were also injured when the fire broke out at Ninho de Urubu, the training ground of Flamengo football club, in Rio de Janeiro.

According to The BBC, All ten victims are said by local media to be young athletes.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.

Flamengo is one of Brazil's biggest and best-known clubs internationally.

MySportDab report the fire began at 05:10 (07:10 GMT) and was extinguished by 07:30.

None of the victims has been identified but players aged between 14 and 17 are known to have used the dormitory.

"The kids from the Flamengo youth team were sleeping there at the time," firefighter Douglas Henaut told Globo News.

The injured were taken to a nearby hospital, firefighters say.

In a tweet on Friday, Flamengo said it was "in mourning".

Cardiff City could face a potential transfer ban if they continue to withhold the payment to Nantes for striker Emiliano Sala.

The Argentine's body has now been identified after it was recovered from the underwater wreckage in the English Channel.

Cardiff City are due to pay Sala's £15m transfer fee in three installments and Nantes have already threatened legal action against the Premier League club.

According to The Times, Sala's International Transfer Certificate was registered with the Welsh Football Association on January 21.

MySportDab report this means Cardiff risk punishment from FIFA if they do not make the first payment by the end of next week.

Cardiff are unhappy with the timing of Nantes' request as the French Club sent an email on January 31st demanding the first payment.

At that time, the search for Emiliano Sala and his pilot David Ibbotson had been called off.

However, Nantes followed up with a new letter on Tuesday, asking to receive the £5m within the next 10 days.

FIFA's regulations state that disciplinary proceedings against Cardiff can be opened if they do not complete the payment within Nantes 10days deadline.

Chelsea have announced the signing of striker Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus on loan.

The Blues announced the arrival of the Argentina international Iin a statement which read:"Gonzalo Higuain has today joined Chelsea on loan for the remainder of the season.

"The 31-year-old striker moves to Stamford Bridge from Italian side Juventus.

"He spent the first half of the campaign on loan at AC Milan where he scored eight goals.

"A proven goalscorer throughout his career, and an Argentina international, Higuain arrives with a wealth of experience at the highest level having consistently shown his attacking quality during spells in Argentina, Spain and Italy.

"Clinical in and around the penalty area, as well as providing a strong aerial threat, Higuain previously played under Maurizio Sarri at Napoli in 2015/16, whenhe finished as top scorer in Serie A with 36 goals, breaking a long-standing Italian record."

Cardiff City New Signing Emiliano Sala reportedly told his Nantes teammates he had 'fears about the safety' of the plane taking him to England.

Sala is missing after his plane from Nantes to Cardiff disappeared yesterday evening.

Search and rescue are trying to locate the aircraft and Cardiff and Nantes are waiting for news.

French police have confirmed Sala was on the Piper Malibu plane that departed Nantes for Wales last night.

According to French News Outlet 20 Minutes Nantes, Sala was cornered about the plane.

According to David Phelippeau’s report, Sala had arrived in Nantes on the same plane from Cardiff over the weekend.

On Monday he arrived at the club to say goodbye to his team-mates and have lunch with them one last time.

Sala is said to have given a speech before his departure.

He then returned to the airport with his team-mate Nicolas Pallois, and expressed his ‘fears about the safety of the flight’.

"HM Coastguard are currently assisting Guernsey Coastguard with a search for alight aircraft off Alderney in the Channel Islands," a spokeswoman said.

"HM Coastguard helicopters from Solent and Newquay have been helping to search overnight with nothing found."

Usain Bolt have announced his retirement from football after failing to agree a contract with Australian side Central Coast Mariners late last year after a trial.

“I don’t want to say it wasn’t dealt with properly, but I think we went about it, not the way we should and you learn your lesson, you live and you learn," he said.

"It was a good experience. I really enjoyed just being in a team and it was must different from track and field and it was funwhile it lasted.”

Striker Gonzalo Higuain is set to arrive in London on Tuesday and compete his loan move to Chelsea, according to reports.

The Juventus striker is set to join on loan until the end of the season with the option to extend the deal by a further 12 months.

Higuain was left out of AC Milan’s squad for Monday’s game with Genoa and Gennaro Gattuso criticised him for his decision to leave halfway through his season-long loan from Juve.

According to The Express, Chelsea expect the Argentine to arrive in London on Tuesday to complete the move.

Speaking Coach Gattuso said: "I accept his decision. Surely he could have done more and maybe we could have helped him fit in better.

"I want to be honest with you all. We had a poor training session today due to all these rumours. We spoke after the training session and I did not consider him ready for this game."
