I don't think anybody has seen his/her uploaded documents on the final page & if anyone has seen pls say so. I just think that is how it is rather than fault. You can only see the data which you entered in all the stages except the downloads on the final page.
You are asking dragnet preparation material, are the ones conducting the test? A friend told me they are.

It is the ''DPR way''...2006 exam/interview batch resumed in 2008.

2011 exam/interview batch resumed work 2013.

Usually DPR recruits once every three years. This is because every three years, people must get promoted upon satisfactory appraisal in DPR. It is a standard in DPR. The 2013 batch were promoted this year leaving the Graduate Trainee Position-Grade Level 8- Free/Vacant.Usually within this 3 year period some old staff retire and other older staff in service get promoted leaving room for experienced hires too.

We can only bear with them and pray they can make it more efficient.

Yes ooo. Atleast there are changes, this time it's going 2 be CBT & i hope there's no gonna be delay there after. I remember in the 2010 application, after the 2 tests & interview there was 2 years delay on calling successful candidates which make those hopefuls to contribute money & sponsor newspaper publication urging the DPR to release their letters of appointment.

The tests & interview were conducted in just over a year which not too bad looking @ govt parastatals way of recruitment in Nigeria but successful candidates had to wait another 2 years b4 finally being called making the whole journey 3 years which is bad

Quite frankly, I have no clue, regarding the test content or format. If it's CBT, like you stated earlier, a generic practice of SHL-CEB, GMAT, et al. , should suffice.

I wouldn't bother too much on the format, but rather, on your ability to quantitatively analyze pictorial information - charts/tables, word problems, %ages, etc.

If I'm privy to any information, regarding this, I'll keep you informed. Thank you.

The job opening was in March 2010, then 1st test was conducted in June while a 2nd was conducted in December of that year. Later in May of 2011, interview was conducted.

Pls do u hav idea how their test will look like? I know that the last time they conducted aptitude test, it was paper based & included topics like Maths/Further Maths, Econs, Physics, Chemistry, Geography/Geo Physics, History, Current affairs, Engineering e.t.c. It was organized & conducted by Eraproserve. Many of the candidates then complained about the standard of the test claiming that it was unorganized. Some even called it Academic exam. This time it's goin 2 be CBT & not PBT, do u think it's going 2 come out from GMAT? Response will highly be appreciated.

For those that are saying why the Kano State Gov't didn't transport the late students to Lagos by air, i want to ask whether accidents don't happen with planes? Yes when traveling by road the chances of one involving in an accident in Nigeria is far greater than when traveling by air. God has destined these boys to go this way this time & there is nothing ANY human being can do about it. No body in this world will breath a single more than what was destined for him/her and nobody can escape a way through which he/she is destined to leave this world. U r talking as if one can dodge death or choose not to die in a certain way. If death or the way through which one will die is a choice, then i don't think there will be anything called death. D house has been too quite 4 som tym now. A friend of mine who works in ITF Abuja called over d w/end in order to greet me. He knew about my pursuit of d NERC job & there4 was wondering whether i was called by NERC 4 employment letter cos he learnt that NERC gave letters 2 ppl recently. If what he said is true (which i hav doubt ova as i also heard same info from another source), then who r those ppl? R they the recently employed Zonal candidates or they r HQ applicants? If they r 4 d HQ, then i am surprised that no 1 in this forum gets called or could it be that some ppl here were successful but don't want to open up & talk? MAY GOD GUIDE US

@brosiye99, i am 4 d HQ. The zonal candidates did d 2nd interview wit NERC after the 1st one wit Restral, that interview took place b4 d HQ's 1st interview wit Restral. I dont know & dont think either wether 2nd interview 4 d HQ has been called.

@brosiye99, the information is true, i heard the same but the house is quite on the issue, does that mean nobody gets called? NO i doubt it, those successful kindly share, particularly any info as regards the HQ.

I believe even if the change truncates the process, it's going to be for good. With the present gov't, wat has happened? NOTHING. Everyday we hear different stories that kill our hopes, i hav heard alot of discouraging news from ppl in this forum wrt this recruitment issue (though not discussed here cos of the confidentiality in them). The zonal hopefuls applied since Oct '12 i.e close to 3 years now still nothin while that of the HQ took place in Jun '13 i.e about 2 yrs nw & that one too still nothing. If the change in gov't is going to bring this thing to an end once & for all, & for the better of all, then so be it.

Anybody with any update as regards the HQ & zonal rec should please share the info. As 4 the HQ, we all thought successful candidates would be called for NERC's interview in January considering the fact that the commission wants to conclude the recruitment soon but I THINK the 2015 general elections which was initially scheduled to hold in February puts the conclusion of the recruitment on hold. The question i want to ask is now that the elections have been postponed to hold in late March & in April, what's the position of things as far as the recruitment is concerned? Is it goin 2 be concluded b4 the elections or is it goin 2 be after the elections in April? Responses wil b appreciated, thanks.

NERC has updated it’s resolutions of the commission section of the document library recently, last year’s minutes of emergency management meetings were uploaded. Found out frm 1 of the resolutions that some names were approved by the commission for recruitment into NERC’s zonal offices. As 4 the HQ recruitment, I wil say there is no new update because the document explained the criteria 4 calling candidates 4 the restral interview which we all know is over, I learnt frm 1 of the doc that there’s goin 2 b another meeting on 4th and 5th Feb, may be the HQ interview by NERC wil b discussed then. I also learnt frm 1 of the resolutions that NERC wil recruit secretaries for It’s newly opened forum offices, it was resolved that NERC wil ask restral 2 send 3 names 2 d commission frm d list of candidates who applied 4 employment 2 d commission during d general recruitment process, those candidates wil then b interviewed for the vacancies. Jst thought I should share, u can visit NERC’s site 2 view the documents. Regards

Now that they have started calling those who sat for the HQ Management positiont test in Abuja, I know they will soon call some of us who wrote the test in Abuja for Analyst positions too.

The call for interview is for both Analysts & Managerial positions i think. I applied for an Analyst position & got my invitation mail last Friday. But iam sure more invites will come as some got theirs today. All the best everyone.

I wonder why a recruitment process takes too long to conclude in this country. It's been almost 2 years now since the Zonal office application started & after that period, ppl are still waiting. I pray 4 members that came all the way 2 this level 2 hav smiles in the end & 4 those 4 the HQ positions as well. The house has been quite 4 some time. Any latest news pls?
