“Whilst working on the 2nd volume of my Worship Sessions Album, I felt the urge to write about the goodness of God (Jesus Christ) to me. I had long yearned for a song that could give me room to express my gratitude. I then decided to title the song exactly the way i ‘felt’ – ‘YOU ARE GOOD’.

I had just recently recorded the instrumentals and i’d begun voicing my lead vocals but i encountered a problem. I simply couldn’t go past verse One! The thought of a collabo never really crossed my mind and as such i kept biting at the song till i eventually got stuck! I’m extremely particular about who i feature on a song a lot of times. I love singers who pay attention to detail; singers who sing enunciate every nuance and observe the mood of the song, not just flinging riffs and runs at every space in between the the backing vocals. I love a singer who knows how to be true to the ‘song’ and not just the melodies behind the song in itself.

I thought hard for a female whom i could feature and just then Nikki Laoye gives my mobile a buzz! Speak of perfect timing! I immediately asked her if she was game on a collaboration and she said YES! In less than 16 hours Nikki was at my ‘workshop’ (that’s what my buddy Mike Abdul loves to call my studio – only God knows why!!!). We discussed the song in depth and I succinctly expressed the inspiration behind the song. Nikki wanted to know what i expected of her – a rare attribute. Most eager singers would simply jump on the song in excitement and miss the very essence for which they were called upon for the collabo in the first instance.

Nikki also besides being a soulful and versatile singer understands the ‘taste, touch and scent’ of music. She leaves no detail in a limbo. I take pleasure in making the best of good musicians and as such i decided i was going to write ‘vernacular’ lyrics for Nikki to sing – not just your everyday road-worthy vernacular lyrics. It was an interesting session as i watched Nikki soak herself in the song. We had to stop the recording at some point because Nikki became quite emotional. That was a sight i hadn’t seen in about 15years of my recording career. I watched Nikki emote with such purity, i knew we’d nailed the song. A few spices of known songs here and there and the song was a wrap! Finally the song song was released on my second album – The Worship Sessions 2. If you haven’t gotten yourself a copy, you don’t know what you’re missing.

The WE tv reality series ‘Mary Mary’, captured the emotional reunion of Mary Mary sister Tina Campbell and husband Teddy renewing their vows after she chose to forgive his infidelity.



In a clip before the ceremony, Tina is seen talking to her younger sister about forgiving her husband. After being told that people on the Internet are criticizing her for forgiving him.

“I don’t care what anybody thinks I chose to forgive because unforgiveness kept me miserable,” she said.

Tina was excited for everyone to see to family be restored. “Why would I let the whole world see my failure and not let the world see the rebuilding, she told her younger sister.”

Marathon Messiah’s Praise is the gathering of God’s children simply to praise God for His faithfulness and mercy for the life of Pastor E. A. Adeboye. He has been a blessing to this generation and God has used him to touch our lives in one way or the other.

In 2011, when preparations for his [Pastor E. A. Adeboye] 70th birthday was going on, a group of young people gathered and thought of what gift to present him. When they could not think of any material gift to offer, a suggestion came, “why not we organise an event that will gather people together to praise God for 70 hours since daddy loves praising God.”



That was the birth of Marathon Messiah’s Praise. Right from that moment, two major objectives were set out to be achieved.

1. To praise God for His mercies over pastor E . A . Adeboye
2. To create a platform to encourage the birth of new songs so that worship leaders who come for the programme will go back to their local assembly and become better worshippers.

In the first 3 editions, the focus has been on praising God for over 70 hours non-stop however, the 4th edition which is 73 Hours Marathon Messiah’s Praise takes a different dimension.

This time, it came out bigger and better, not only praise God, but also organising a couching workshop for intending and existing worship leaders, as well as introduce new praise and worship songs that enrich our worship experiences in our local churches.

MMPraise is not about anybody but God. We are simply tapping into the grace of God in Pastor E. A. Adeboye’s life. Its a time for each individual to develop a personal worship experience with God. MMPraise is not a musical concert, its not a show or a talent hunt. Its simply a time for spirit filled worship.

For 73 hours Marathon Messiah’s Praise, kick-off on Monday 2nd March and ended Thursday 6th March 2015, This event was largely supported by volunteers who see to it that the programme is a success.

The government of Israel recently honored the late Myles Munroe in Jerusalem for his steadfast support to the Jewish state.

The event, which was held at the ninth annual “Night to Honor our Christian Allies” on Jan. 29, honored Munroe for his “ongoing contribution to the Jewish state. According to Julie Stahl of CBN News, Christian Allies Caucus Director Josh Reinstein thought that Munroe was courageous and had the “heart of a lion.”



“Myles Monroe was a true Israeli hero,” Reinstein said. “He stood up unabashedly in a lot of countries where it’s not popular to talk on behalf of Israel and say that he loves Israel; he loves the people of Israel; he loves the God of Israel; he loves the Bible of Israel.”

Stahl reported that Tourism Minister Uzi Landau presented the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus and World Jewish Congress award to his son, Myles Munroe Jr., and daughter, Charisa. Reinstein added that Munroe “left such an impact on the government of Israel, the State of Israel, and its people.”

Charisa told CBN News that it was “an honor and privilege” for her parents to receive this award.

“I’m more proud of my parents every day,” Charisa said. “Every day, they show me how much they really loved the world and they really demonstrated that in everything they did around the world. It’s definitely an honor.”

Munroe’s son also elaborated on the legacy his father left to CBN News.

“This shows the impact that both my parents had on, you know, the nation of Israel and on the world at large,” Myles said.

Myles added that “their ministry meant so much more than being in the Bahamas where they grew up.”

“Their mandate was to go out into all the world,” Myles said. “And, you know, I feel that’s exactly what they did.”

Gil Hoffman of the Jerusalem Post reported that the event took place at Jerusalem’s Waldorf Astoria. He noted that Munroe, an evangelical pastor and motivational speaker based in the Bahamas, brought groups to the Jewish state twice a year.

According to Hoffman, Norwegian Christian leader Lief Wellerop also received an award from the World Jewish Congress in this event. He has strongly advocated for Israel’s behalf for more than 30 years.

“To me, this award is a wonderful handshake from our Jewish brethren,” Wellerop said.

Hoffman reported that the purpose of the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus was “to forge direct lines of communication between Knesset members and Christian leaders, organizations and political representatives in Israel and throughout the world.”

“Its 31 reciprocal Israel Allies Caucuses exist in legislatures worldwide through the coordinating efforts of the Israel Allies Foundation,” Hoffman wrote.

The World Jewish Congress, which also participated in the event according to Hoffman, represented Jewish communities in 100 countries.

“Not only do we share the same Judeo-Christian values, but today more than ever we share the same fate and we must cooperate in order to combat the rise of religious extremism,” WJC chairman Shai Hermesh, a former Kadima MK, said. “At our annual event, we commemorate the strong support of our Christian allies who stand with the Jewish state of Israel.”

As the February 14 general elections is fast drawing nearer, more prophecies and revelations has been released by men of God, politicians, amist controversies trailed by the much-awaited elections are busy with campaigns, releasing their manifestos at rallies and campaign venues.

As eminent men of God, such as Pastor Enoch Adeboye; Bishop David Oyedepo, Archbishop Sam Amanga, Rev. father Ejike Mbaka, others released their prophecies for the year, the Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) in London, pastor Matthew Ashimolowo is not left out.

Pastor Ashimolowo, an inspiring preacher who has lifted countless souls with his passionate preaching of the gospel, in an interview said there is going to be a shaking of the world. There will be earthquakes in some places.

“Very interesting. I believe that globally, there is going to be a shaking of the world. There will be earthquakes in some places. There might be famine in places they never knew famine, and flooding in places they didn’t expect. For Nigeria, the Lord showed me, who will win the election. I will not mention his name, because I have to be politically neutral. But when the president’s name is announced, 20 percent of a certain part of the nation will not agree. Eventually, after negotiation they will. We will agree that we’re one”

“Wales is only 400,000 people or about a million people. They call them a nation, and they call Yorubas who are 27 million a tribe, the Igbo who are 18 million you call them a tribe. For us to have many nations that make up Nigeria, it was God that made it happen. And that prophetic mandate still remains on Nigeria”



“Anyone who incites people to divide this nation will lose his chance. Nigeria will remain one. After all the noise, you will be amazed that also some politicians will be shocked, nobody will be ready to die for them. There will be peace in Nigeria after the election”

The KICC pastor also talked about the onslaught of the Boko Haram insurgents and how to repel tham, he said; “Boko Haram is a snake with many heads. We are cutting one head, which is why the other head shows up. If you know the hydras in the story of Hercules, every time the head of that snake was cut, two heads grew there. We need a robust approach. Boko Haram will still be around but we need a robust approach. We need to deal with fifth columnists in the system who are empowering them”

“I am 62 years old. I was born in the barracks and I know when Nigeria fought the civil war. My father fought the war too. In fact, he died in Biafra. He died by the Asaba bridge. But I can tell you, in Nigeria, there were only five battalions when Nigeria fought the three-year civil war and yet the war came to an end. It was massive. How can you fight a bunch of riff-raffs with the army and they hold you to ransom?

“Fifth columnists are selling Nigeria to them, giving them petrol, money and ammunition. As my mother used to say, when a child keeps throwing stones and he’s not exhausted, there is a supplier in the corner.

But our prayer should be that our government will be bold enough to indict the fifth columnists, either inside the system or outside the system”.
