The bustling city of Lagos is populous with the highest concentration of movie, music, television, theater, and sports celebrities of any city in Nigeria. From film and television shoots on the streets, to star-studded events at event centers and glitzy clubs a trip to Lagos would not be complete without a little celebrity spotting. For travelers, celebrity spotting is a rarer occasion; in Lagos, it is just casually recognizing Genevieve Nnaji wearing sunglasses with her hair a little glamorous, browsing the aisles of The Palms, Victoria Island or Don jazzy nodding his head to some beat in his car while in traffic. However, if you want to catch a few more snippets of the real A-list lives, read on as Jumia Travel, Africa’s No. 1 online hotel booking service shares insider tips on where to look for Nigeria’s hottest stars in Lagos. Quilox A night club on Victoria Island, Quilox seems to be doing the rounds in Lagos at the moment, with more and more big names being reported there every week. Recently, even the governor of the state was rumored to have visited the club with his crew. Also the likes of Davido, Wizkid, and Cynthia Morgan have said to have come for a night out at the club. The chic decoration and assortment of drinks (cocktails and spirit) makes it easy to see why it is proving to be such a big name haunt in the city. The Rock Cathederal One of the most beautiful structures in Lagos, the Rock Cathederal houses a church –The House on The Rock. And while a church is not the best place to go celebrity hunting, you stand a chance of sitting next to one or at least on the same row with one. Most celebrities in Nigeria from Nollywood stars such as Chioma Chukwuka and Chidi Mokeme to music celebrities like Tiwa Savage, P Square and Seyi Shay frequent this church on Sundays and so, the building sees a constant stream of celebs, coming and going. A trip to this place allows you to kill two birds with one stone – get edified with a good sermon and possibly run into a A-list celebrity afterward. Ojez bar Although this bar just does not pack in the A-listers like it used to, some famous people still love this place. Located in central Surulere, the hangout offers nourishing local and international cuisines and a nightclub and bar for drinks. Nollywood stars and popular TV icons are the most regular celebrities you meet here. At lunch, you might see Charles Novia and Emeka Osia enjoying an early happy hour, or, Funke Akindele asking her assistant why they could not get her favorite table. Eko Hotel Located in the heart of Victoria Island, Eko hotel is one place to find celebrities in Nigeria. You can either catch them attending one of the numerous events that are hosted in the venue, them dinning at one the onsite restaurants or just changing money at the Bureau the change. Celebrities are spotted in this fabulous hotel on the regular, especially for Sunday brunch as it offers a safe haven where they can come in for a great, relaxing meal without interference. Murtala Mohammed Airport (Local) Nigerian celebrities are always on the move and a majority of them prefer to move via flights. While many of these stars who prefer to travel first class, hide in private airline lounges pre-flight, they must mingle with the public post-flight at the baggage terminals. If you do not happen upon an encounter with them there, then head to the arrivals terminals at MM1, as it is another area they are usually spotted Source: Vanguard www.amosozi.com/2016/11/5-best-places-to-find-nigerian.html

'Prophet' Lethebo Rabalago from the Mount Zion General Assembly in Limpopo, South Africa, uses an insect killer to supposedly 'heal' his church members. There was outrage on SA social media today after photos emerged of him spraying the chemical directly on people's faces and body parts during a service and prayer meeting over the weekend. Rabalago has now revealed why he uses such a dangerous 'healing' method. Speaking to eNCA.com today, he claims that the insect killer is to to heal people with cancer, HIV or any other illness. According to him, he prays over it first like some people who use oil or water for blessings. On the number of people he has used the insecticide on so far and how many were healed,Rabalago said: "Many People. On Friday (during the service), we used doom on the whole congregation. Some in the mouth, others in the eye. There were many. I can't estimate. Maybe more than a hundred." On why he picked the insect Killer Doom as opposed to other things, Rabalago said: "Doom is like water because we are spiritual people." On whether he considers the danger of the chemical spray to the eyes and pother body parts, he said: "With us, we believe in God is for all things. People are getting their deliverance." source:www.amosozi.com/2016/11/sa-prophet-who-uses-insecticide-to-heal.html

Dear Nigerian Celebrities, The rate at which you people are showing off on social medial these days is becoming a disease to the Nation. I wish you all could have adhere to the Lagos police command spokesperson, DSP Joseph Offor who said that showing off on social media is a security risk. I know that is the only way you can show your fans achievement but why don't you do it in a more better way. I always get upset when I see some celebrities flaunting their wads of cash, jewelries on social media, what for? Why do you want us to see it since you ain't giving it to us. It is these your showing off that cause the high rate of crime in the country, yes! Because the youth want to go through the fastest way to gain wealth in other to become the next Davido or Wizkid. It is your showing off that cause the area boys to mobbed you and robbed you off your cash and jewelries. Why won't they do that since you have shown them that you got a lot of cash wasting so they want to help you spend it. And also the female celebrities has turn the social media to an avenue of showing their bra less picture, baby bump and so on. Why don't you show it to your husband or boyfriend? I guess they are in better position for that. Please stop flaunting you backside on social media or do you want the female youths who are not much endow to go and do butt implant? I hereby begged you all Nigerian celebrities to use the social media to do a better thing than showing off. Try to be a good role model to your fans. Thanks. NOTE: I am not in anyway promoting double dating and the list here does not mean you can't be caught cheating, so if you follow the list and you are not caught, then GOODLUCK. Remember not everybody is cut out for these lifestyle and while it might sound appealing in principle, in reality, it might not quite workout for you. 1.BE HONEST: Do not lie to a woman about your intentions, your past, or whether you are dating other people right now. A lot of guys are scared of being honest because they are don't believe that ladies would accept them for who they are. So they try to make themselves better. 2. NEVER BE SCARE OF LOSING THEM: It is when you are completely honest that you are giving the women the chance to pursue something with you or not. You have to be comfortable enough in yourself to know that you can tell her the truth and if she leaves no big deal. 3. LET THEM TAKE A DECISION: Don't try to convince them or force them to do anything. If they want to go allow them to go. Most of ladies get upset that you don't want to pursue a monogamous relationship with them but if they are left alone would come around in a few days 4. NEVER TREAT THEM LIKE GIRLFRIENDS: Don't mess with their head and give the impression that this is more than it really is. If it is casual, ensure that it stays casual. 5. NEVER TALK ABOUT OTHER WOMEN: Never about other women in front of them and don't spell things out in an obvious way. 6. DON'T BE STUPID: use protection with all the ladies that you sleep with and stay clear of dating anyone whom you think might be a problem for you or anyone else. 7. ALLOW THEM TO DO THEIR THING: if you are going to date other people you have no right to tell them no to do the same. Not every girls actually want to date other people but if they do you must respect that. Be mature and talk about it.
