I strongly hope in the next contest, contestants will be more prudent with their risk management, In this contest, risk management matters as much as the profits. Most contestants are having DD too high even thou 20% is the benchmark. One will expect your DD not to go below 10% . It is contest but remember it is not like other regular contest where luck determines the winner. This is aimed at bringing the best in us and supporting us with some real funds to trade.
Great job we are all doing even to those that have been disqualified and I want to believe we will have a better and improve contest in April God willing.

Thanks boss @infofirst for your generosity despite my second position from the opposite end of those in profit . Never traded with such small leverage b4 but this contest has taught me how to. This contest is also helping me to sharpen my day trading skills that I have abandoned for sometime. I think I'm catching up gradually

This competition has thought me a lot & it's one of the best contest ever conducted for members of FTA to the extent of pulling out our silent followers to become active members. Ones again a big thank you to boss @infofirst. We have all seen that greed, inconsistency indescipline and inpatience are some of the biggest problems we have here. This contest has proved ones again that trading is more like that of a marathon race rather than Sprint. It is how you finish that matters most and not occupying the top positions for a while

This rule for equity management is not feasible sir.. A lot of us keep dropping equity not because we are losing but cos we have a floating position.. Once the system update ur current floating position n it drops it will be updated as peak loss as well..

That is a drawdown you are having. Proper position sizing will help you out of such situation. I like the peak loss rule it teaches us risk management and how to be conservative.
As for me my swing trading strategy has given me only one entry signal this week. I have decided to be a day trader for the time being so I can generate enough signals & become part of the action.

Many people don't consider 80 percent gain in a month something you can maintain all through.

I would say, the market really moved this month sha.

I don't have a target what the market gives is what I take. Can't force it to vomit pips for me. I may do 100% this month cos my portfolio is heavily loaded with pips at the moment

Lot size has been the same from the start, max of two trades per day at times just one, max of 16% drawdown so far. Trading is about grabbing opportunity when it present itself. Risk analysis of ruining the account attached below.

Hi I’m going through a very difficult face at the mm.

I own a 3bed room bungalow, my friend own one too but few plots away. We bought the land together about 8 years ago and we’ve been a very good Neighbor.

When my house got to roofing, this my friend gave me some money to complete it. Infact he’s my alpha and omega, we’ve been a very good friend from secondary school.

I don’t mind if he’s seeing this ,I really adore and appreciate our friendship but at the same time. I don’t want his marriage ruined becomes of me.

December 2018, my friend got a visa and travelled to the U.S.A, when he was leaving, I drove him to the airport, he told me to please take care of his wife and I should watch over her like my own wife but unfortunately, the lady has been giving me lots of altitude so I decided not to go check her any more when ever I am around.

To shorten the long story. I work in a company, I did go home mostly Monday’s to Wednesday, my works was mostly weekends but last week i was shifted to weekdays so I go home weekend now, I have been observing a young man and my friend’s wife sneaking in and out of their house.

A woman sells provisions in our street, she told me about the guy few weeks ago, she said he always comes buy Hollandia yoghurt at night also said the first day the young man came to her shop, he came to buy a condom she has been wondering who the guy was.

Yesterday one of my co worker came around 7:30pm and I was in his tinted hilux, I saw the guy smooched my friend’s wife ass,she quickly removed his hands and they went inside ,the young man drove my friend’s car and they went inside

With everything happening now it’s obvious the lady doesn’t care again. Because I don’t see a reason why she has to be fornicating and knowing we stay in the same street.
I am so heartbroken, my friend doesn’t deserve such wickedness. Right at the moment I don’t know what to do. I believe telling my friend isn’t the solution. Please I need advice And I’m available for any question and advice.

It's is very obvious that she is cheating but I will advise you to do further investigation b4 doing anything. If you decide to keep a blind eye and something terrible happens to your friend you will feel the guilt. On the other hand if u expose her & they later settle, you will be tagged enemy of progress. If the marriage breaks up cos you let the cat out of the bag, everyone will know your level of involvement but as your good friend don't involve your self directly. Be sending anonymous messages to your friend of exactly what you saw don't add or subtract. Never let him know u r the one

I'm just curious but to what would you attribute your less consistently successful years (for lack of a better description) and what changed for you? Hoping your answer would be an eye-opener for many of us.

Psychology(how the market works) was the game changer. 90% of us already have the wrong mindset/view about the market without knowing and refuse to change cos we think we understand it better than anyone else. Learn from the experience of successful traders around the world by reading their books it will definitely shorten your leaning curve instead experimenting over the years. For instance I stopped focussing on high winning rate & decided to focus on how I can win big.

I just read where one of our own pr....ac... Said he has quited trading fx and also said all the time spent in fx was wasted.

Only the strong survive here. It' has been 14 solid years of trading fx yet I just started getting it right october last year

There was something we were discussing and I told her there are several things that she that makes me doubt if she truly loves me .She then replied saying, she loved her ex more than he loved her, and so she decided to not love anyone more than she loves them. That as for me, I love her more than she loves me, that’s why I sometimes thinks she doesn’t love me.

I told her this is not something you tell someone you want to marry and she said I am taking it too far.

Please am I making a mistake to want to marry her? Does she love me? Or am I taking her statement too far like she said?

Give her some time off let her prove her love for you. If she doesn't come back for you let her go. You guys need to take it slowly or take a break. Looks like a case of forced love from you which is normal but she is not getting along.
@bolded, meaning you have been observing she doesn't love you from her actions and she finally said it with an indirect statement. Go and find your match cos forced love that is not working out as in your case always ends in frustration
