Hmmmmm! Mine was by grace.. I captured the very first day i went there..

I have submitted my form and i was already on my way home when my phone rang. I picked it, the voice at the other side is a female voice and she introduced herself as the PCO. Then she said if i am still around i should be coming back and ask for the PCO.. I got there and did as instructed, i was directed to her office. She then asked if i did the registration myself, i said yes.

she commended me by "saying you did a good job here" she then went on with the explanation on how they always schedule applicant to come for capturing later and all. She now said since they have less than 80 people for capturing on that day, she would include my name among those that will capture today.

That was it... So i don't know how long it takes before they schedule for capturing but i can guarantee you that after capturing, your passport will be out in less than six weeks without bribing anyone. I am sorry if i am unable to help.

Use VPN to access the website. What causes it is that your internet provider uses dynamic IP. Once the IP changes, the session will timeout. MTN does this a lot.

I'm experiencing the same issue you are experiencing..

I have used Chrome, Firefox and even Edge still same issue.

Don't put all your hope on this yeye tracking page hoping you'll see when your passport is ready.

I have collected my passport since Thursday and the tracking is still showing this that yours is showing.

My passport has been issued since 27th of June, some days before making 6 weeks after capturing.

If you capture at the Sagamu processing office I can assure you that your passport is out because passport gets ready there 3 - 6 weeks after capturing without fast tracking.

If you have time go to where you capture to confirm if your passport is ready, don't let this tracking page deceive and delay you..

I used the Sagamu Immigration office and i have captured since 18th of May, it completed 5 weeks yesterday and there is no passport in sight..

DIY will frustrate you, I can't wait anymore, enough of being patriotic. It is now i understand why the officers were laughing at me that day when they heard i did it myself, only their PCO commended me.

To me it seems logical to apply for a 10 year issue due to all the challenges many are listing here rather than repeating this cycle again in roughly 60 months i.e. 5 years.

Alausa seems to be the most active office in the South West and by extension Lagos while Festac seems not to have many good testimonies due to booklet issues.

It now depends on you to add extra for fast tracking depending on when you need it. If you don't need it till like December, you can just pay that amount and take your mind off it.

It will be five weeks on Wednesday since i captured and there is no passport in sight cos I don't want to bribe anyone, but it's sad we can't win against this corrupt immigration officers.

1. Start monitoring the page as if your life depends on it, hopefully you'll get a favourable date.

2. Pay another mrv fee and apply for emergency attaching the complete documents.

Unfortunately to renew a passport you must go with the old passport on the day of capturing.

You'll have to declare that the passport got lost, sworn an affidavit before you can proceed.

Go to app store or play store, download the "mws mobile id app" follow the instructions and use it to verify your NIN before going for capturing.

You'll know whether your NIN is verified or not. I used it before going to their processing center for capturing.

There is an earliest resumption date on your I-20 which is one month before your program start date, you can only enter the US from that earliest resumption date.

Any attempt to enter before then, my brother you and the CBP go dey solve the rest.

The scarcity is artificial, I can tell you that for sure. Don’t trust, always verify

I advise you start as the process soon as possible though because whether or not you go through an officer the process is the same

If you’re going DIY don’t forget to ALWAYS insist on capturing on your due date and use the helpline, it works! If you miss your online date, just know you are at the mercy of the officials and whatever they tell you as your application can no longer be tracked online and it would be assumed you didn’t show up in the first place! The helpline may also not be able to help you unless it’s your due appointment date

Wait till 60 days to your program start date and request for emergency appointment.

Since your program start date is in August, then you should do that in June.

Having in mind that i may have visa interview in July and my current passport is expiring in September.

The immigration officer i spoke with in Abeokuta said capturing date is in June already and i will pay 45k to collect it after 2 months or thereabouts.. If i need it urgently i will add another 15k then get it in a week or two after capturing.

Anyone should also help if there is any centre that still has a free capturing date for May?

Registered last week, submitted yesterday after all their shenanigans. DIY is not easy but it’s definitely worth it!

Collection date is showing 16th May , which is five days from today. How feasible is that
