Why I love AOK... They wouldn't charge you till you have your resident permit and they will still give you the health insurance certificate
Sadly above 30 and a student you go for private but when you compare the €33.10 to €94 somehow I dont mind. Since I no dey sick like that or need a doc YET.

Good evening house, please the Mawista insurance I need some clarification, I have a very long name when I was filling the form, it couldn’t contain my full names as it is in my International passport, so I wrote just one of the names, please is that ok?
Also, method of payment I clicked IBAN and I put my details, again am I on the right track?lastly I intend travelling in November, can I put December 1st as the start month of the insurance or November 1st. My visa interview is in Oct (btw) please gurus in the house kindly help a sister. Big thanks

If you enter Germany in October, mawista will charge you for October.(I opened my mawista on the 24th I was charged for that month cos they asked when did i come into germany and i told them)

If you have three names and just two entered it's fine.

As for putting your details. I dont know I opened my mawista when I got here so I dont know much about that

Visum alert!!!
AM: 16th Aug
Appt: 19th July, cat B (booked May 6th)
Mittweida
Transcript: A friend already posted it here
Ps: The transcripts here were super helpful. Thanks nairaland. Also Turkish airlines is doing N184kish flights to Germany from Abuja. I think it’s even cheaper from Lagos. Go to Turkish airlines directly and not an agent to get the student discount to get that price. And if they don’t agree, call the Abuja office, they have the option of doing everything online.
When Are you arriving and who is your tutor

Congrats

How's the Nigerian embassy in the Netherlands?.

Renewed mine about 2 weeks ago in Berlin and omg, it was chaotic there!!.

Waited the whole day.
Was so swift ,easy and stress less. In about an hour I was done and on my way out with my passport. . I could not believe my eyes

I renewed my passport in the Netherlands about 3 weeks ago. This claim of yours is not factual bro. There are entirely new passport numbers for a renewed passport. Perhaps it just started sha. Anything is possible.

The new type of passport has the slot for previous. So what netherland is giving us is old. But all the same they are all valid.

What I meant was that the passport will have a new number while carrying the old number of the previous passport. I have renewed my passport twice and both times the new passport had its own number and the number of the previous one
Yeah, just saw the new passport type and there is a position for previous passport number .

I have not seen a reissued passport (whether the previous was lost or expired) that doesn't contain the previous passport number. This might be questionable, not just by the embassy but anywhere else in the future. My advice is that you find another contact in another NIS branch to do it for you. Please anyone here with a contact in NIS should help him out.

I have renewed my passport three times or so and they all have new passport numbers.I just did last week at netherland. And my passport was issued there with a new number.

I have never noticed the previous to be included.
Maybe that's for Abuja and lagos only for now.

Sorry I recall my last quote on u.

I receive ur contribution,

Pls are u really saying that they have always accepted winter admitted student to enroll during summer?
Not ALWAYS but they accepted it last year. Hopefully if the population is much they might accept a new date if you all come together for that. They were only two that started in summer.

Note: it was only a suggestion, since the offer is on the table do it right. Because Nov 15th is no more a valid date in the embassy.

Best of luck.

Good day my people,

PLEASE, THIS IS FOR THOSE THAT HAVE AL FOR HAMM LIPPSTADT.

So I suggest we all send a mail stating that 26th September is not enough for us we cn probably use 15 November as a collective date lyk we have witnessed o.
Embassy is no more giving date for Nov 15th. Why not try your luck and ask for Dec 1st. This is the same school that allowed ppl come in during summer. If you want to beg ,Beg well. What's the worse that can happen.

Please how long will it take for one to start withdrawing from his blocked account when he arrives Germany?
It took me 4 days.
Went to post office did the verification, bought a german line, opened N26, got my IBAN, sent it to fintiba, fintiba acknowledged the verification. Then my first instalment was in my account before noon on the 4th day.

Hi guys, I've read a bit about the N26 online bank and would like to open an account with them, however I'd like to know if there is any majors cons I need to watch out for. I already know that you make deposits at grocery stores and free withdrawals at any ATMs, but I just want to make sure there isn't a big con that I am unaware of before I open the account. Also, can you suggest any other banks in the Chemnitz/Mittweida area in Saxony? Thank you!
I use N26 and I am in mittweida.

so ive uploaded my visa and f=im leaving by 21 this month and im staying with a friend. can i use the friends address to open the N26 account and fintiba said you legitimate with postident i want to know if the postident needs proof of address and how long does the postident takes if youve uploaded it to fintiba

Print it out in nigeria. I cant remember much but just go to any post office and give it to them. They would verify you and then send it to them . If you in your friends place for up to 2weeks then I think you can us it for n26. They would either do phone verification or something postident like finitiba

U mean N26 and co?
How do I do that, u know my challenge. I have already done for Fintiba verification and have the postident verification stuffs.
I'm concerned about completing this N26 from here too
You have already done that.
Escrow accounts are fintiba, X-patro, the new one. Basically those holding your money. You can do n26 the day you arrive, you need your phone number and address.
Travel / Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by heybaby12(f): 8:39am On Aug 01, 2019
Those of you with visas dont forget to upload it to the Escrow banks you using. So that when you get over here you have bought about two days wait time.

More AMs
More Money
More Dates
More Grace.

Haba no.
When they see that paper and no Visa inside. That tells them tou didnt get the visa

Note: Besides visa granted or not doesn't matter. First timers, denied ppl get visas everyday

Did you peel off the white paper at the back of your passport ? That which US embassy usually sticks to your passport.

Msc. Have been hearing it’s not a child’s play at all and it scares me some Type a way but Man will survive. I will appreciate if you can help me with any possible materials I can work with before start date. Also in terms of job opportunities is it advisable I get an accommodation in Chemnitz since most of the Jobs are in there? Though I already sign an agreement with the student dorm yet to pay.....I heard Chemnitz is just 30mins by train to the campus (mittweida). Kindly check your pm

Thank you.
It's actually just 18mins by train. But using chemnitz address then you would have to extend your visa in chemnitz and they dont extend until your visa expires or something like that. You would definitely have friends in chemnitz. Crashing there a night or two wont be bad . All in the name of jobs ok.
