Ignore him because he knows the Truth. Igbos doesn’t vote because of tribe. It is a fact. They care about who will help their economic power more than anything else. The truth remains that No matter the Economy of Nigeria, Igbos will suffer least among other tribe.

You don’t hear Batified again… Hunger has affected their lungs

Economy is the foundation of politics. Igbos have a clear understanding of this fact. In fact let other tribes rule as long as the right policies are in place.

Igbos will vote Okorocha, Kalu and Obi ahead of Akinwunmi Adesina because Okorocha, Kalu and Obi are Igbo men while Akinwunmi is a Yoruba man.

Not true. You say this to make yourself feel better.

If that was the case why did igbos ignore Ojukwu and voted massively for obasanjo. This is documented history.

Anyone from northern region and south west should know that it is not only Igbo's that enter market to buy some things, now e don happen, shey na only Igbo the thing dey affect. Look as long as the northers believed that even their worst brother is better than the eastern man, Nigeria go die for suffer. And every body go die,

This spiteful politics has been keeping Nigeria backwards. It’s the reason buhari prefered to build a railway to Niger republic instead of Onitsha. Just one example out of millions.

Some Igbos also claim if an Igbo man can't get the main parties ticket, then the north should rule forever.

Give igbos someone like olusegun aganga or Akinwumi adesina vs Rochas okorocha and orji uzo kalu and see who igbos will vote for.

I will start by saying that when it comes to action, igbos will take a competent leader over their tribesmen.

The first elected mayor of Enugu was a Fulani man.

The igbos supported OBJ, Yaradua, Jonathan.

We Igbos have agreed that you have sworn to never vote for an igbo man. Ok thats fine. We will never change your mind.

But the least you can do is to provide a good and competent leader from your tribe. Una refuse.

Tribalists please give us a good leader from your tribe and we igbos will ignore your hate and vote for that person.

We care more about progress than spiteful tribalistic nihilism.

Let’s tell ourselves the bitter truth.

Some people purposefully and knowingly voted bad leaders because they wanted to teach Igbos a lesson.

None of those same people will ever hire someone like buhari or tinubu to run their private business if they were privileged to have one.

That’s was a clerical error.

That has been fixed after multiple people followed the numbers and realized it was a mistake. The person who released the report for the sake of transparency miscalculated the final numbers.

Igbos take note. Invest in the East now

No some of them will rather fill up swamp and drainage channels.

The wise ones are already investing in the East. Cities that are more inland are actually shielded from the rising ocean levels and climate change effects.

Earth’s seemingly rigid surface is actually malleable, and while some pockets of the surface are rising, many coastal areas—especially fast-growing, highly populated ones such as Lagos, Nigeria, whose urban population is projected to reach 20.6 million by 2030—are sinking. This phenomenon is called subsidence.

It seems you don’t know how to read statistics.

In 2018:
— has the lowest poverty rate
—SW has 6 states in the lowest poverty rate
—SE has only 2.

In 2022:
—Ondo has the lowest poverty rate
—SW has 4 states
—SE has 3 states

Correction noted. Broader point remains unchanged.

Igbos are by far the richest tribe in Nigeria. Imagine SW with Lagos scoring equal points with SE. If igbo rich families outside SE are counted for SE the gap Igbos give other tribes will be Soo huge

Exactly the point I am making by opening this thread.

Some people are angry because I am trying to counter propaganda against my people.

I don't understand what you people gain from these Igbo are these and that bragging

The stati you posted is self explanatory, i am sure there are lots of Igbos in the north esp. abuja but you won't drag North poverty with dem

The data from North central includes abuja which has lots of igbos living there why 13%

This thread is a response to certain individuals making false claims. Nothing on Nairaland happens in a vacuum.

Based on the first and second post, anybody with half a brain knows that Igbos control the richest household in Nigeria.

The data from the south west includes Lagos which has a lot of igbos living there as middle class.

I remember Okorocha was governor when Shell decided to invest in a gas plant in the state. The MD then, Sonmonu, paid him a visit. I don’t know if that’s the present ANOH one being talked about.

Yes that was it. I remember too. Also more investment could have come into Imo state if okorocha didn’t mess up on something’s. I have heard some stories

I really think its time every igbo man from all nook and cranny of this cursed entity come together and fight for a full blown breakout.

WE SERIOUSLY NEED TO BE OUT OF THESE FAILED CONTRAPTION.

We will be so rich as a nation of our own.

WE NEED TO BREAKOUT BY ANY MEANS POSSIBLE.

Ndi Igbo, We need to breakout of this contraption.

We will get to that point if corrective measures are not taken sooner. The seed of division is already planted through the years of injustice against Igbos.

As a matter of fact
There is CNG gas distributor company in Lagos and Ogun state as far back as 1999

I have personally worked in a CNG company in Abeokuta and we distribute to many states but ignorance and bitterness in the brain of IPOBIDIENTS think all the gas in Nigeria start from Imo

Backward never

I have opened a thread in the past with reference to an article showing how gas from imo state is powering Lagos. Either around 2019 or 2020.

Because Imo surpassed all of them to get to where it is today. I have been tracking this for years. That’s why I included all those states.
