I didn't get ur Question Right but hope you know u av to bring ur JAMB print out and then get to the admissions office for ur clearance. Find ur way to Ibadan and bring all necessary documents (check other guyz post to find this put) .

A.  NOTES TO PAYMENT SCHEDULE
1.         Mode of Payment

All categories of students should pay this levy.

3.         Science / Laboratory Practical Levy

ALL students in Science-based disciplines (i.e. Faculties of Science, Agriculture, and Forestry, Veterinary Medicine, Technology, Pharmacy and the College of Medicine) as well as those in the Departments of Teacher Education (Science) and Human Kinetics and Health Education are expected to pay the Science practical levy.

4.         Course Registration

Registration of Students in Faculties should be done within a period of Five (5) weeks from 29th September, 2008. There will be no late registration.

5.         Students should pay their fees personally.  Payment through friends etc or other proxies is not allowed.  Any irregularities arising from such payments would attract disciplinary action.

[b]B.         HEALTH CLEARANCE           

Both 100 level and 700 level 2008/2009 University of Ibadan students are welcomed to the University.  They are enjoined to strictly adhere to the following Medical Registration procedure which will run on week-days only between 8.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. from 22 September to 28 November 2008.  All new students must endeavour to get registered in order to avail themselves of access to timely, appropriate and comprehensive health care. Students are expected to do the following:

1.         Join established queues as you enter and re-enter the University Health Centre.

2.         At the Medical Records Unit obtain endorsed Investigative forms from the Medical Record Officers for:           

             (a)        Laboratory Test           

             (b)        Chest X-Ray3

.         For the laboratory tests submit required samples at the University Health Centre Laboratory and later obtain results.4.         For the Chest X-Ray process, RESTRICT VISIT to either:           

(i)         University College Hospital (UCH)  Radiology Department as follows:                       

                 Tuesdays          -           8.00 a.m – 2.00 p.m.                       

                 Wednesdays     -           8.00 a.m – 4.00 p.m                       

                 Fridays             -           8.00 a.m – 2.00 p.m                                                                       

Or

(ii)         KOMIS Radiological Centre, Yemetu, Ibadan as follows:

                  Monday through Saturday:                     8.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m. 

(iii)        METRO DIAGNOSTIC CENTRE,

             45 Oyo Road, Opposite Coca-cola Main Gate, Coca-cola, Ibadan as follows:

                 Monday – Saturday 8.00 a.m – 6.00 p.m 5.       

With your laboratory results and Chest X-Ray study, revisit the Medical Records in the University Health Centre where you will be assigned to a Doctor for medical interview and physical examination at designated consulting rooms.           

6.         Document your medical registration at the Records Units.

           Finally, study and safeguard your University health Centre registration card for subsequent necessary medical consultation as may arise. All laboratory tests, medical interview and physical examinations must be done at the University Health Centre.  Moreover, all X-Ray studies must be done at either University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan or KOMIS Radiological Centre, Yemetu or METRO Diagnostic Centre Opposite Coca-cola main gate Ibadan.  Any X-Ray study laboratory test or physical examination done elsewhere other than as stipulated above WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED with effect from commencement of this exercise.  Registration later than Friday 28 November, 2008 will be surcharged.

Be informed!  Ignorance will not be condoned as excuse for any contravention of this registration procedure.

Be free to ask questions or clarify any issue as much as necessary with the health staff.

To complete your registration, the following Documents are needed

i)         Duly completed student Entrance Medical Examination form.

(ii)         Laboratory and Chest X-Ray Reports.

(iii)        Photocopy of receipt of school fees.

(iv)        2 passport size photographs.

7.         On the completion of the above (i-iv), collect from the University Health Service Medical Records Unit, a non-transferable University Health Service identification card with number which is SOLELY for use by each student (Students are required to present their Identification Card for consultation at every visit made to the University Health Service).

NB:       All students are advised to avoid impersonation at the University Health Service (as it is a punishable criminal offence).

C.         ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATION

After submitting a photocopy of your payment receipt at the Admissions Office, the schedule officer in charge of your Faculty will give you a specific date to come back for your Certification Letter.

D.         ALLOCATION OF MATRICULATION NUMBER

Student are expected to proceed to the ADPU-Academic Office (beside Kuti Hall) for the issuance of Matriculation Number.

E.         ACCOMMODATION – STUDENT AFFAIRS OFFICE

Information on student accommodation would be made available on the UI Website (http://www.ui.edu.ng).

F.         FACULTY REGISTRATION

Each Faculty has made arrangements for the registration of its students.  As a final port of call, please proceed to the Dean’s Office of your Faculty where you will be given specific instructions and materials for Registration.  You are however, advised to go with the following items:

(1)                 original and photocopies of your certification letter

(2)                 original and photocopies of your credentials – SSCE / GCE

(3)                 original and photocopies of your JAMB letter of Admission

(4)                 UME Result Slip

(5)                 original and photocopies of your University receipts

(6)                 medical clearance from Jaja Clinic, duly signed by the Director. 

G.         Candidates should note that they must complete FACULTY REGISTRATION before proceeding to their Departments.

CONCLUSION

I advise you to complete all forms carefully and return them on time to the specific places so that every information on you would be computerized in readiness for Matriculation. I wish you a successful and pleasant stay in the University of Ibadan.

thanks a lot for the help you offered me the last time. thanks a whole lot. But brother i need your help again. I chose Electronics/Computer Engineering because that was what was in the JAMB brochure but when I got to UI for the POSTwhatever I was told they only offer Elect/ Electronics Engineering. Please Could you help me find out from your "PROF's" if there is anything Computer in that school. And if not, tell me how the Electrical department is been run.
I would appreciate it if any other person who has relevant information could post it as this would help me choose i I would finally come to UI.

I absolutely agree with Justcool that Jesus, the son of God was murdered and the shedding of his blood is a crime against God. Most believers always say that "all things are possible with God". That phrase is correct but its interpretation by most people is wrong. To most believers, it means that God can do anything he wishes. The truth is that God cannot do those things that are opposite to his nature. Thus God cannot sin, God cannot commit evil, God cannot commit injustice, God cannnot annul his laws etc. Justice, love, divine laws have its origin in God. How then can God act in ways contradictory to his very nature? In explaining the mission of Christ, Obalende asserts that the shedding of the blood of Christ and using Christ as ransom was in the plan of God. I disagree since any plan of God cannot use evil as an instument of achieving good. Jesus, the son of God was sent to save mankind from their sins by teaching them the will of his father. It is the word of Jesus that is salvation, not his death. Mankind rejected the word of God and sealed their enemity against God by murdering his son. This same mankind who murdered the saviour turned round to claim that the murder of Jesus was a sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin? How can the blood shed by murder which is a sin forgive sin. It is like trying to wash off a blood stain on a white shirt with blood. The very notion that Jesus who commited no sin accepted or was made by his father to carry the sins of the world contradicts any concept of justice. Which earthly judje will allow a murderer to go free and then imprison an innocent person? Yet we men expect God, the origin of Justice and Love to do things that contradicts his very nature. Indeed it is impossible for Jesus to carry the sins of others since every sin is firmly bound to the originator. A sinner can only wash his sins himself and the words of Jesus is the dertergent he needs for it. If it is the plan of God for his son to die as Obalende asserts, then Judas, the highpriests, the pharises, caiphas and all those who participated in the plot to murder christ are fufilling the plan of God, then such people by their activity are servants of God. Yet no one want to call his child Caiphas, Judas etc. On the cross, Jesus sumed up these events when he prayed "Father forgive them for they Know not what they do" Why will Jesus pray for their forginess if what they are doing is in accordance with the plan of God, the father. Do you ask for forgiveness when people do the right thing or when they do the wrong thing? Before Jesus was incarnated on earth, he knew that he will be murdered since men are of darkness and he is the light. Darkness will always attack the foothold of the light. Jesus knew this but being the personification of divine LOVE, he came to earth to wage war against the darkness. Jesus came to save mankind amid the dangers. It is like a house is on fire and your wife and child is inside it. You have two choices, to run away for your own safety and allow your wife or child to be burnt or to go into the fire and save your wife and son out of love. In the process of saving your wife or child, you may get burnt and die. It is true to say that you entered the fire to save your wife and son and in the proceess got burnt and died. It is incorrect, wrong and misleading to state that you entered the fire to get burnt and die. I guess this simple story of a house burning will be enough to give some insight on the true mission of Jesus the son of God. Any belief in God no matter by what name it is called that contradicts the justice and love of God, attributes sinful activities to God is false. God is holy and cannot engage in unholy or evil activities either as an end in itself or a means to an end. Every human being know that ritualists who shed the blood of their fellow men are evil and their activities are sins against God, yet people then think that the shedding of blood is salvation in the case of christ. To ransome a human being by shedding his blood is a dastardly crime against the laws of God, to ransome the the son of God by shedding his blood is a sacrilege commiteed against God.

Adam is metaphorical man who represents the whole of mankind. If Adam was an actual man, then God wouldn't punish his(Adam's) descendants for a sin that their father Adam ccommitted. God doesnt punish people for the sins of their fathers for this is injustice. Only humans do such a thing IE-- a fathers teaches his children to do evil, this evil will remain in the family and they will keep suffering from it until the children stop doing it. Hence your bible said: "the sins of the fathers shall be visited onto the sons."

Even if you belong to the race of Jesus or Adam, you are still accountable to God for your own actions. Don't ever think that by belonging to Jesus' race you are already justified. This is blasphemy. The ancient Jews had a similar belief- some of them believed that just by being descendants of Abraham they were justified. This is wrong, hence John the baptise rightly warned them:
"do not begin to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham for our father,' for I say to you that from these stones God is able to raise up children to Abraham."

Nobody is justified or saved just because of his belief or his ancestry(race). Only by living your life in accordance with the Will of God will save you.

But Bro u need to understand Bible terms such as " In Adam all Died, In Christ all shall be made ALIVE ".

The whole generation of mankind was identified in Adam. HE is the originator of the race,so he was responsible for how the race fares.When God was to bless the Generation of Man after he created them, He was speaking to the Whole Generation of man in this man;ADAM.

You know as I know that these blessings was not for Adam alone, it is for the whole race of mankind. Therefore, We can deduce that God identifies Corporally with the whole race through Adam.
Since He is the first man, God had set it in place that every thing he created would bring fruits after it's own kind. This was the inception of the Law of Nature; A mango tree would reproduce a mango, a maize reproduce a maize.
Adam our first man disobeyed God's command, thereby[b] polluting [/b] his sinless nature and became a sinner. Just like if we plant a brown maize, the products definitely would be brown. In thesame vein, all of us which came from Adam were regenerated in this sinful nature, born of the Flesh and ruled by the senses. Adam's first Son Cain (without anyone teaching him ) killed his Brother. This showed vividly that he was born after the sinful nature of Adam and therefore all of us that are born of a woman come with this corrupted nature.
So you See, God wasn't punishing us for the Sins of Adam but rather OURS. God (as you acknowledge ) is rich in mercy and kindness. He is LOVE personified.
In demonstrating his character of his person sought for a permanent way of saving man out of his sins. REMEMBER the only problem Man has is is SINFUL NATURE. So there had to be a new nature for man, a pure and sinless one which is not subject to sin or else it would boomerang again.
Thanks be to GOD the Father of our Lord Jesus, who came to destroy sin in the flesh by him coming in the flesh but not according to the lineage of Adam; (He was born of a virgin birth so the seed of Adam which is polluted could not be in him) and by the death and prosecution of this sinless GOD-MAN, he paid the price of sin for every one from the lineage of Adam and redeemed us.
Now if he had left us with this sinful nature,that means God did a Half job but thanks be to God he didn't do that. He originated a new race for mankind which as the sinless nature of Christ Himself (the Last Adam).
Just like it wasn't as a result of your actions that you were identified in Adam, you can't also be identified by your actions into Christ. Now this saying comes to be; THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH (Hab2:4, Heb10:37, Gal 3:11)It must be by Faith( Believing).
you can only come into this race by believing in the sacrificial work of the Christ claiming that it is truly for you and then you automatically belong to this NEW & SINLESS GENERATION.In this new generation , your Adamic nature is destroyed and you are identified as one without guilt or reproach. That is why God Declared them as this:

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Nature isn't something you can work for or attain by your work. It's either you have it or you don't. Men are not in any way obliged to the worship of devils. The Devil himself was the Ruler of this world and then caused people to fight and kill themselves in a worship to him. He is the Father of confusion and nothing related to him ( whether praise or worship in form of religion ) can bring peace or fairness to the worshippers and their relatives.
The Devil got the[b] legal[/b] right over mankind to rule and dominate this world by the simple act of Adam's disobedience to God's will in the Garden of Eden (We all know that) but thanks be to the God of our lord Jesus Christ who in his wisdom saved man out of this bondage. How?
Since Man Sinned, the only person who could have helped man out had to be a man( this is the demand of Justice) but bear in mind, the originator of the race of Mankind sinned therefore ALL generation of man that came from Adam were all polluted because of this SIN therefore making it impossible for any of us to save others out (This means no prophet or Holy man of this generation could have saved us, NO MAN could)
AS a result of Man's Disobedience and Sin , Man was separated from the union the had with God before his fall and therefore could not come in close relation with God especially in the form of Worship and Religion. Since this fall man had been searching for a way out but unfortunately couldn't but continue in the FORCED service to the devil through series of endless sacrifices which involve killing of fellow human.
The only thing that could have saved man from this entrapment was for A MAN without SIN to come and pay the price of MAN's disobedience (SIN) , DEATH (The wages of Sin is death). This was a great source of worry to God who so much love his ROYAL creation, MAN.
God in his infinite love had to create another race for human with another person as the originator ( YES HE HAS DONE THAT). God himself came in the form of man, Born of Virgin, lived as human, walked on the streets of man, Suffered the same temptations as man and PRAISE BE TO GOD , HE (GOD) DIED FOR MAN AS A MAN JESUS CHRIST. Heb 2vs 14
14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

So you see Brother, He became the pioneer of the new race of human which as forever holy and acceptable to GOD himself. They don't long to be in the presence of GOD because they are always there, GOD calls them his people his own SONS. This are the only people whose worship is acceptable to GOD.

How do you become a part of this? or Is every human automatically transferred into this group?
God despite this great work for human, his beloved creation he still give us a position to make the choice to either join this group of people or not to but God implores and beg every man to make this choice.
WOn't it be so CRUEL for a man to reject this great gift of God. This is the only reason why a man would GO TO HELL. HELL is REAL and so is HEAVEN but every man has the choice of MAKING HEAVEN and shunning HELL.
