PoliticsCSO Demands Arrest &impeachment Of Egbedun Over Alleged Death Threat To Monarch by Idealplusgist(op): 2:26pm On Jul 31, 2025
... warns the state government to stay away

... governor must allow the law to take its full course.

A civil society organization, the Osun Youth Initiative for Good Governance (OYIGG), has called for the immediate impeachment and arrest of the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Honourable Olumide Wale Egbedun, following allegations that he issued a death threat against a traditional ruler, the Alasi of Asi, Oba Oyewale Olasunkanmi Isaac (Akorede I).

In a statement signed by its National Convener, Dr. Akande Adeyemi, the group urged the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS) to investigate and prosecute the Speaker, describing his alleged conduct as "rascality of the highest order."

The demand follows the circulation of a leaked audio recording, which surfaced on social media Wednesday evening. In the audio, believed to be the Speaker’s voice, Honourable Egbedun allegedly threatens the monarch in Yoruba, vowing to imprison him and warning that he may not come out alive if he continued to oppose his political influence in their community.

A portion of the audio reportedly quotes the speaker saying:
“I will jail you, I swear. I’ll ensure you rot there. You think being a king gives you power over me? I’ll deal with you, and if you’re not careful, you won’t leave that place alive.”

The comments, widely condemned by the public, have sparked outrage across Osun State. OYIGG said the threat represents a serious breach of democratic principles and a blatant act of intimidation against traditional authority.

The group also referenced what it described as a pattern of misconduct by Speaker Egbedun. Earlier in the year, he was accused of snubbing the respected Aragbiji of Iragbiji at a public function — an act that drew condemnation from senior monarchs. OYIGG further cited reports of the Speaker harassing a senator’s aide in Ilesa, and also recalled how Egbedun swore that he will kill one Hon. Musubai in Odo-Otin, calling into question his temperament and regard for public office.

Dr. Adeyemi stated, “No one is above the law. This is not just a personal attack on a royal father but a threat to our democratic and cultural institutions. The Speaker must be held accountable for his words and actions.”

He added that power is transient and urged Egbedun to reflect on his behavior before further damaging his political reputation and the traditional values of the Osun people.

The group reiterated its demand for the Speaker’s impeachment and called on relevant security agencies to swiftly take action in the interest of justice and good governance.

They also warned the state government to stay away from this adding that the governor must allow the law to take its full course.

"We are aware that the state government is trying to shut the state traditional rulers, threatening monarchs with dethronement.".

Signed
Dr. Akande Adeyemi,
National Convener OYIGG

PoliticsOsun 2026:K-RAD Begin's Consultation Tour,promise A More Prosperous Osun For All by Idealplusgist(op): 12:08pm On Jul 28, 2025
... _my lawyer has joined the race, Oyetola declares_

... _I will declare a state of emergency on Osun Agric Sector, enhance food production and ensure urban renewal_

As part of his efforts to gather support for his aspirations, a frontline aspirant for the Osun governorship elections under the umbrella of the All Progressive Congress, APC and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Kunle Rasheed Adegoke (K-RAD) over the weekend had a robust engagement with leaders of the party across Osogbo and Olorunda Local Governments just as he inaugurated campaign managers across the 332 wards of the state.

Commencing his consultation tour from his home front of Osogbo and Olorunda Local Governments, K-RAD appreciated leaders and stakeholders of the party in both LGAs for the trust reposed in him as an erudite son of the soil and a faithful party chieftain who has contributed his quota to the development and success of the party in Osun and the nation at large.

He revealed that his aspiration of governing Osun stems from his dream of seeing a more prosperous Osun where citizens will live in abundance through tapping into the inherent mineral and human resources the state is blessed with. He pledged his readiness to embark on an agric revolution which will enhance food production and security, collaborate with neighbouring states in creating a friendly producer (farmer) to consumer environment which will reduce cost as government would subsidize from the stage of cultivating, harvesting, sales and consumption.

He further revealed his intents for urban renewal and infrastructural development for the state adding that his plan is for Osun to move from being a civil servant state as it is called now to being an industrialized state. He stated that Osun is at the epicenter of the West, therefore the agriculture revolution is crucial to the food consumption of other states. He also revealed his plan for the creation of a food/agric hub in these neighbouring states for easy access of farm produce.

"I believe that our project is a divinely ordained project, we have a clear cut developmental agenda for the state which cuts across every strata of the state, Osun is blessed with ariable lands, we will make Osun the food basket of the nation while other programmes will be targeted at urban renewal and other people centric policies".

His well detailed plans were revealed that an interactive meeting with leaders of the party in Osogbo and Olorunda, Hon. Akintunde Adegboye a former deputy speaker of the Osun House of Assembly praised K-RAD for coming to the aide of the party through his legal expertise at all times. He added that K-RAD's legal brilliance was evident in the success of the party during the local government tussle with the state government, he acknowledged that without K-RAD's legal support, it would have been almost impossible for the duly elected local government chairmen and councillors to be reinstated. In the same vein, Hon. Adeoye Adelakun lauded K-RAD for the courage displayed in signifying interest in the Osun guber seat. Adelakun noted that since the state capital haven't produced a governor since the state's creation, 2026 is the town's brightest opportunity to achieve this. He added that the town parades one of the finest Senior Advocates of Nigeria whose contribution to Osogbo, Osun, Nigeria and the APC cannot be overemphasized.

At the APC Secretariat in Olorunda Local Government, K-RAD decried the level of corruption in government noting that despite the significant efforts of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu led federal government, corruption and bad governance by some state governments have hampered development in states like Osun. He pledged a total turnaround from the instituted corruption adding that if given the opportunity to serve, his policies, projects and programmes would be centered on people's needs after a thorough assessment.

Inaugurating his campaign managers across all wards in the state, K-RAD urged his coordinators across the 332 Wards in the state to shun campaigns of bitterness, violence and acrimony which is capable of polarizing the party and endangering the success of the APC at the August 8th, 2026 guber polls. He concluded by tasking the coordinators to commence Door-To-Door mobilization and sensitization for his guber aspirations with the conviction that the outcome of the party's primary elections would be favourable.

However, as a loyal party chieftain, K-RAD reiterated his resolve to work in synergy with any aspirant that might eventually emerge at the primaries of the party. This resolve underscores his loyalty to party supremacy and determination to oust the present administration which has been bedevilled by financial recklessness, gross maladministration, absolute disrespect for rule of law and bad governance.

K-RAD praised the leader of the APC in Osun, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola CON for standing by the party and providing quality leadership, adding that Oyetola's support for the party has given a new sense of hope and an assurance of victory in the 2026 elections. He lauded the minister for providing a level playing ground for all aspirants ahead of the party's primary noting that this gesture would enhance the party's chances of picking the best candidate ahead of the elections.

PoliticsOmole Denounces‘enemy List’allegations As False&disruptive To APC Unity In Osun by Idealplusgist(op): 6:14pm On Jul 27, 2025
Omole Olusegun, Head of Media and Public Enlightenment for Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, has firmly rejected reports claiming President Bola Ahmed Tinubu maintains an “enemy list,” branding them as baseless fabrications designed to weaken the All Progressives Congress (APC) and destabilize the political climate in Osun State.

Clarifying the situation, Omole stated, “Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi OFR is focused on his duties and does not engage with unfounded allegations. The Governor’s failure to act promptly stems from internal inconsistencies and has been exploited by those opposed to progress in Osun.”

He further denounced circulating rumors, including unsubstantiated claims that President Tinubu removed Governor Ademola Adeleke from the alleged list following pressure from Osun APC leaders, emphasizing these stories are deliberate attempts to misrepresent political realities.

Omole criticized the Osun PDP and Governor Adeleke for disregarding Senator Fadahunsi’s unwavering support, noting, “It is disappointing that the PDP and Governor Adeleke overlook the steadfast role of Senator Fadahunsi—who has consistently assisted them, including in navigating challenges with law enforcement agencies.”

Highlighting Senator Fadahunsi’s influential contributions, Omole recalled his pivotal role in the 2018 PDP primary that facilitated Ademola Adeleke’s nomination and victory, as well as key reconciliation efforts, notably those led by former Governor Rauf Aregbesola at President Tinubu’s request.

Condemning what he termed “the greatest enemies of Osun State,” Omole accused certain individuals of exploiting state resources for personal enrichment while neglecting transparency and accountability to the federal government.

He singled out Mr. Kaseem, the Governor’s Chief of Staff, pointing to his rapid financial gains and implicating the state Deputy Speaker’s company as a front to secure government contracts. Omole further noted that Kaseem’s frequent visits to Mecca have become notably regular.

Calling for an immediate federal and Ministry of Works audit of all bridges constructed under Adeleke’s administration, Omole emphasized urgent safety concerns for Osun residents.

Despite personal respect for Governor Adeleke, Omole explained that Senator Fadahunsi’s defection to the APC was driven solely by the broader interests of Osun citizens.

Responding to hostile remarks from PDP state chairman Sunday Bisi, Omole dismissed them as self-serving, suggesting Bisi’s ongoing hotel projects in Osogbo and Ilesa could be jeopardized if Adeleke were to defect to the APC.

Omole, therefore, call on Adeleke, and his failing political party to stay away from Senator Fadahunsi, who has been their political mentor before now.

He reiterated that there is no credible evidence or official confirmation that President Tinubu maintains any “enemy list” of politicians, describing such rumors as speculative and divisive.

Stressing Tinubu’s dedication to party unity and electoral strength in Osun, Omole cautioned against exaggerating internal differences.

Addressing further speculation, Omole denied claims that the Osun PDP or Governor Adeleke have endorsed Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election, labeling these assertions as unverified and contrary to official party positions.

According to Omole, Governor Adeleke remains focused on his gubernatorial responsibilities rather than premature political endorsements.

He added, “The administration is currently influenced disproportionately by the Governor’s sister, Dupe, and Chief of Staff Kazeem, leaving the Governor sidelined.”

Concluding, Omole affirmed that President Tinubu’s decisions are based on careful strategic judgment, not partisan pressures or popularity contests, warning that attempts to sow discord between federal and local party leaders undermine the entire political system.

He urged the public and media to rely exclusively on verified information from credible sources rather than anonymous rumors or unsubstantiated claims.

*Osun 2026: K-Rad, The Man with a Plan*
At a time when politics is dominated by slogans and fanfare ‘Kunle Rasheed Adegoke (K-Rad), a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, is not running on celebrity appeal. He is running on ideas.

He’s bringing the courage of reform, the discipline of the law, the shrewdness of an entrepreneur and the commitment of a true son of Osun to bear on a campaign driven by vision, structure, and sector-specific strategies.

*Who is K-Rad?*
‘Kunle Rasheed Adegoke, popularly called K-RAD, is not your typical politician. He is a constitutional lawyer, policy thinker, and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) with over two decades of legal, business and civic experience.

He hails from Osogbo, the heart of Osun State, and has spent much of his life advocating for justice, democracy and progressive governance.

K-Rad has no baggage, no backdoor deals—just clean records and clear plans. “According to him, 'leadership is not about noise. It’s about results. Osun deserves a governor who has already done the necessary homework and can create wealth out of recession.”

Unlike rivals whose campaigns are built around slogans or personality cults, K-Rad is offering Osun a governance model based on carefully researched and deeply practical sector-by-sector plans.

*A Plan for Every Sector*
K-RAD and his team will soon commence the unveiling of his sectorial plans that would put our state on the path of unrivalled progress and prosperity.

*MORE ABOUT K-RAD: PROFILE OF KUNLE RASHEED ADEGOKE (SAN)*
Born on September 5, 1969, in Osogbo, Osun State, Kunle Adegoke attended University of Ilorin where he studied English Language and Literature between 1989 and 1992.

As an *unrepentant Marxist-Leninist*, he became the Secretary General of the University of Ilorin Students’ Union and Secretary of Zone C of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) in 1990. Kunle Adegoke, popularly known as ‘K. Rad’, an abbreviation of the pseudonym, ‘Kunle Radical’, defended the interests of his constituency to the end and paid the supreme academic sacrifice when he was expelled in March, 1992 by the authorities of the University of Ilorin in his final year.

Following this unfortunate incident, he took the bold decision and wrote the University Matriculation Examination (UME) again in 1993 and, upon a brilliant performance, was offered admission into the University of Lagos in 1994/1995 Session. While in academic limbo, in 1994, he served as Secretary at the NANS Convention that held in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State and later as Chairman, National Convention of NANS which held in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1995.

His academic sojourn in the University of Lagos was another challenging experience as he was suspended on his birthday, the 5th day of September, 1997.

Following a travesty of fair trial by the University authorities, Kunle Adegoke was expelled in the same month of September, 1997 as the authorities of the University considered his voice of dissenting a sacrilege.

He lost a year in the course of challenging the decision of the University in court until he was later re-instated in May, 1998 by Justice Tajudeen Odunowo of the Federal High Court, Lagos.Despite the horrors of victimisation and undisguised poverty necessitating self-sponsorship, Adegoke completed his LLB studies with Second Class (Upper Division) in the University of Lagos in the year 2000 in the course of which he represented University of Lagos at the All-African Universities Human Rights Moot Court Competition in the University of Legon, Ghana.

*A Governor from Day One*
K-Rad, having traversed the entire length and breadth of Osun for 17 months in the lead-up to the 2018 gubernatorial election where he aspired to rule Osun as Governor under APC, saw the pain points of the people across demographics and geographies and clearly understands the needs of Osun and won’t need 6 months to “settle in.” His strategies are ready to roll, his mixed team consisting of young, progressive politicians and technocrats is set, and his public-private partnership models are already in draft.

PoliticsI Am Resolutely Committed To Leading Our People To Greatness”–ajibola Basiru by Idealplusgist(op): 6:31pm On Jan 12, 2025
Ajibola Basiru, the national secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has made an emphatic declaration.

“In Osun State, I am resolutely committed to leading our people to greatness—and the time for that transformation is now,” the former senator representing Osun Central Senatorial District wrote on Sunday, January 12, 2024.

He made the categorical statement in a social media post accompanied by a video where he credited Prophet Muhammad with the saying: “Muslims believe no one can become anything except God wills it. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) stated in one hadith that if the world comes together to support someone, but it is not destined by God, they will not succeed. Conversely, if the world bands together to block someone, and it is not predestined by God, they will fail.”

The face of the APC in Osun State provided insight into how deeply he values the attribution to the “holy prophet,” explaining that “This powerful statement from our noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW) has guided me since my youth, illuminating my path with wisdom and purpose.”

Basiru, also a former attorney-general and commissioner for justice in Osun State, as well as an ex-commissioner in the Ministry for Regional Integration and Special Duties, made Sunday’s pronouncement amid growing interest in who will become the APC candidate for next year’s Osun gubernatorial election.

He has been at the forefront of keeping the APC relevant since the party lost control of the state government to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in 2022.

Basiru is among those touted as likely to emerge as the APC candidate for the 2026 Osun State governorship election.

PoliticsThe Next Osun State Governor In 2026 Should Come From Osogbo by Idealplusgist(op): 11:58am On Dec 24, 2024
The quest for the next governor of Osun State has sparked intense debate, with various interests and agendas emerging. One compelling argument is that the next governor should come from Osogbo,  the state capital. This assertion therefore is a clarion call on all indigenes and associated indigenes of Osogbo to braze up, intensify their efforts in presenting credible candidates and ensure that its candidate wins the 2026 governorship election in Osun state. Therefore all the community structures, political and non- political must join together to make this happen.

I am not a fan of  mediocrity and ethnic politics. So I do not push argument that Osogbo has not being the governor since the creation of  Osun state. Of course, this may be a plausible argument but unreasonable and illogical in the sense that choice of governorship is least determined by township affiliation, but by historical and political relevance as well as the capacity to run,win and administer the state very well. Thus, my request for Osogbo indigene to govern Osun state in 2026, is rooted in several key reasons.

Firstly,  the historical significance of Osogbo in Osunn socio-politics requires that an indigene of the town should be the state Governor in 2026. The identity of Osun state is constructed from Osogbo spirituality, as the name Osun is a popular Yoruba deity domiciles in Osogbo. Beside the spiritual connection, Osogbo was a battlefield where the Fulani marauders that could have conquered the rest of the Yoruba kingdoms were checkmated in 1836. The colonial economic history of Osun can not be retold without currency of Osogbo in the narratives. Osogbo was a home to earliest colonial economic ventures like MDS, PZ etc in Osun colonial district. The city of Osogbo was also famous for being the first busy train station during the mid colonial era in Nigeria. This position was sustained till present in such a way that the city has attracted bigger depots of many conglomerate manufacturing companies. It is also on record that Osogbo soars up as the most populated city in Osun state with representation of all local government areas resident in the city. Indeed Osogbo is the  commercial hub of Osun state with more than 65% of daily economic activities in the state occurring in Osogbo.

Similarly there is a need for equitable representation and fair share of leadership opportunities. By electing a governor from Osogbo, the state can strengthen this historical, redeem the imbalances against Osogbo and promote a sense of inclusivity.

Furthermore, the vastness in the growth of Osogbo requires that an indigene of the city should be the Governor of Osun state. According to the existing data, Osogbo is the fifth vast growing city in southwestern Nigeria. Therefore the city requires accelerated development and infrastructure growth, which has been undermined over the years particularly in the ongoing nepotic administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke. For instance, Governor Ademola Adeleke initiated 45 road projects across the state between 2022 and 2024, where only three were allocated to osogbo and 17 road projects measuring 68 kilometers with six lanes dual carriage of 7.5 kilometer allocated to Ede, his hometown.  It is therefore assumed that a governor from Osogbo would be better positioned to understand the city's unique challenges and opportunities, driving targeted investments and initiatives.

In addition, a governor from Osogbo would have a deeper understanding of the local dynamics, fostering a stronger connection with the grassroots population. This connection would promote accountability, as the governor would be more attuned to the needs and concerns of the people.

Albeit all the reasons offered in favour of Osogbo in producing the next governor of Osun state,  Osogbo people should look inward and support the choice of an indigene of Osogbo in All Progressives Congress party. That is the only party in the state that has fair chance of winning the 2026 governorship election. Since governor Ademola Adeleke is going for second term in office,  Osogbo sons and daughters should braze up and drum for APC  to choose its credible candidate. I mean a knowledgeable, admiring, politically sound, and administrative competent indigene of Osogbo.

In conclusion, electing a governor from Osogbo would be a strategic move for Osun State. It would address historical representation imbalances, drive targeted development and infrastructure growth, and foster a stronger connection with the grassroots population. As the state prepares for the next governorship election, it is crucial to consider the unique value proposition that an Osogbo candidate would bring to the table.

Politics"Character Assassination Uncovered: Engr. Raji Kehinde Exposes Senator Ajagunla by Idealplusgist(op): 5:58pm On Sep 20, 2024
...Vows To Sue Ajagunla's Chief Of Staff, Tunde Badmus,Faceless Osun Political prohet at large And Others For Defamation Of Character, and Mobilise 5,000 Constituents Of Osun Central Senatorial District To Demand For Distribution Of Bags Of Rice Palliatives From Federal Government Hoarded In Ojaja Estate By The Senator....

• For The Record:

• #30Million Blackmail
Sometimes in 2022, Hon Akin Titiloye and Hon Tunde Badmus phoned him to book an appointment to bring Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi to his GRA residence at Okefia, Osogbo, in order to support his senatorial ambition which he obliged.

Truly, the team arrived his residence at around 8pm on the agreed day and requested to meet some women and men by 8am the following morning.
Unfortunately, after mobilising 200 men and women for him to form a political structure for his senatorial ambition, Ajagunla and his aides, including Tunde Badmus failed to fulfill their promise to empower those mobilised with #10,000 (Ten thousand naira) each to support their Nano businesses till date.

To preserve his integrity, AARAJI had to give those in attendance #2000 each from his personal pocket and gave a flimsy reason to cover up the deceit of Ajagunla and became very careful of him.

Prior to the deceitful empowerment program, Ajagunla promised to buy three plots of land from AARAJI from his real estate business at #10million naira each, Kejebu as he his fondly called reminded him as a marketer but he started avoiding him so AARAJI just closed his chapter without hard feelings.

Subsequently, Alhaji Muniru Raji, MHR Adewale Gangaria, Alhaji Sikiru Were,Tunde Badmus and others called for a peace meeting at Alhaji Muniru's house.
Unknown to Alhaji Muniru, Tunde Badmus lied to him on behalf of Ajagunla that it was because IKEJEBU demanded for #30million from them, that was why AARAJI ditched their senatorial aspirant before the election. But when KEJEBU narrated what transpired, Alhaji Muniru and MHR Adewale Gangaria were furious to know that Ajagunla and his team goofed and they insisted that the Senator apologise to AARAJI else they' will withdraw their support from his senatorial ambition.
At last, he called AARAJI on phone to apologize and KEJEBU accepted his apology.

• AJAGUNLA SENATORIAL INSENSITIVITY
Moving forward, as a stakeholder in Osun central senatorial district that has been empowering thousands of people across 30 local government and 1 area council in Osun state, AARAJI deemed it a point of duty to hold our Senator and other public office holders accountable to the people they sworn to serve, but Senator Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi and his online media attack dogs who aren't comfortable with KEJEBU'S stand has resulted to blackmail, character assassination and cyber bullying which AARAJI has vowed to always set the record straight and expose their lies and deceits.

For public knowledge, after Senator Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi launched #2Billion intervention fund to bamboozle constituents of Osun central senatorial district, he proceeded to commission his newly built Event centre in Ibadan(Harvard event centre at Mokola).
Meanwhile, empowerment equipments such as spraying machines, cassava grinding machines, bags of fertilizer, and 50 motorcycles are all from federal government and not bought by the Senator.

The icing on Senator Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi insensitivity to the plights of constituents of Osun central senatorial district is the fact that he had to charter an aircraft to convey the Wife of the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio and other dignitaries that graced the commissioning of the event centre as revealed by Mrs Akpabio during the commissioning programme, while the constituents that he represented are grudging in hardship and hunger..aides owed unpaid salaries for months.

Good People Of Osun Central Senatorial District Shall Ask Senator Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi Why He Hoarded Bags Of Rice Palliatives From Federal Government For Onward Distribution To His Constituents!

How Gov. Adeleke Secretly Appointed "419ner" Into His Cabinet

By Sadeeq Adesiyan

The governor of Osun State, Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, has been accused of appointing one Mr Abiodun Adegoke into the state executive council in flagrant disregard to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Adegoke, said to have been thrown out of banking more than 14 years ago, was also accused of being a fraudster who dupe people for survival.

This revelation came to fore yesterday on a popular socio-political group, Aiyeniromo, when Adegoke engaged in hot altercation with another member of the group.

According to Adegoke's challenger, "You Biodun who was an ordinary customer service desk officer at the bank who was later throw out for incompetence and fraud matter. Which work are you doing now than to sit down at home and use phone to disturb politicians for money for your children school fees, food and different lies? Tell us which work you are doing before I reveal your survival strategy to people Mr 419 former banker.

Boasting about his appointment as a cabinet member in the government of Adeleke, Adegoke said, "I write today as a cabinet member in the present government of Osun State under the able leadership of the performing governor of Osun State Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke."

He stated further, "For your information and other children of anger on this cruise channel, I was appointed into this working Government led by Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke as a cabinet member in November 2023 but will still keep you and those not too good for any Government appointment guessing/searching for what could be the portfolio."

This confirmation has stirred controversy as it appears to be in violation of the constitutional procedures for appointing cabinet members in Nigeria.

The constitution of Nigeria stipulates that no member of the cabinet, whether a Commissioner or Special Adviser, can function in office unless they are cleared by the state assembly and take the oath of office as prescribed in the Seventh Schedule of the Constitution.

It is unclear whether Adegoke has undergone these processes, raising questions about the validity of his appointment.

The appointment of Adegoke raises concerns about the adherence to due process in government appointments. It highlights the need for transparency and accountability in the selection of cabinet members to ensure that only qualified individuals are appointed in accordance with the law.
