It's 179k. They deduct about 80k for compulsory car loan which would be given to him on confirmation 6 months after training school.

It's not a uniform Job. If they try las las they carry 100+. Even uniform jobs that recruit yearly and are more active only recruit like 200+ graduates.

They are a challenger bank. If they wanted to run a regular bank, they would have made profits.

Even so that lost is too much haba. Flutterwave and Vbank are challenger banks too but have profits comparable to regular banks. Especially not in the season of gains were banks and companies are recovering from covid.

I got the mail too and i am not in Tech. Actually a lot of us did. While those who just started TS just 2 weeks back didn't get it. Just an online briefing for them. It's well.

I am pretty certain they still trim down that number to 14,000. Army recruitment was about same time and they got 30,000 applicants talk more of NERC that ran for about a month plus and more people preferred it than Army. They are some people in the Whatapps group complaining they can't login, a prompt will come up that they weren't shortlisted. So let's assumed 50k+ applied and they cut it down to 14k. Now they will use exam to further cut it down to an acceptable number for interviews that will still further cut it down again. If you hadn't get shortlisted even in this 14k people you will still complain.

All they have to do is choose the highest scorer from each states or the highest scorers in each roles from different Geopolitical Zone. Before you know it one exam have cut down 14k people to 200. The first batch of Customs recruitments in 2019 over 800,000 people applied. This army DSSC that just pass over 30,000 applied and they still pick barely 200.

If they didn't do so una go still talk. Every open government job always have thousands of applicants including even Army that they will later trim down to 100+ or 200. When they start trimming down people that's when you will know 14k is even small.

From the instructions on the portal it seems they are more peculiar about the roles not even the exam. A lot of people who applied for managerial roles might be dropped down to Analyst I or II. They made it crystal clear that your role might be changed.

Keep waiting, you can be there for an hour plus. If you leave and they are generous enough they might even call you to join. They called a lot of people but no harm waiting.

If all things go according acording to plan, aptitude test is coming up tentatively either on Tuesday, 20th of September or Saturday, 24th September. Consultants waiting for NERC to decide the final date but definitely before end of the month.

Invite for test will be sent between tomorrow and Friday. Check your phone message box and email frequently.

Aptitude test will be in 3 batches on that day to avoid congested traffic that destabilised NCDMB test in November, 2020.

I have been scammed twice

This is what a whatapps group would have solved. If there's a past question in PDF or 100s of screenshots of questions how can you post it on Nairaland? I know how far i have gone in other recruitments thanks to whatapps group especially when they're 100+ reasonably thinking people there. There's a bank recruitment with over 10k applicants but over half of the people who made it to medicals are in just one whatapps group thanks to sharing of information in real time. Nairaland is good but it's too slow, inconvenient and too open to even the recruitment agency.

Oh right thanks for the clarification, didn't know Tech does two interviews. I think we should be more specific going forward now, Tech obviously will have a different timeline of activities and possibly a different Training school. The other person said he received briefing after Medical on Saturday and didn't make it clear he was in Tech making the rest of us unnecessarily anxious.

When you did your briefing how many of you were present? Briefing usually follows with Training school immediately unless your numbers are very few.

Even Upper week Friday and Saturday haven't gotten any further mail relax. As long as you make it to medical you are in, we will all get briefing once they gather up enough people. What i am just skeptical about is that briefing mail may come months later after current set in Training school is done.
