50/50. Have use it to sell few domains including buyers from turkey and USA. Some don't respond even after reading the message. Email outbounding still looks more convincing.

Generally not advisable to contact showing yourself as a Nigerian. You supposed know the reason.

It's likely. confirm that by logging in to your afternic account, swith to afternic 2.0. version, From your dashboard, scroll down and locate the "on hold" section. If there's such a thing, you will be notified there.

Nothing like being self employed. But shine your eyes. Not all that glitters is gold. Always demand for proof of earnings before learning or going for any money making opportunity to avoid wasting time and money.

1. These usually happens. You can't have a portfolio of 10 domains and sell all. Some may not be sold within a year, in this case, you may decide to renew or discard depending on the quality of the domain. Personally I have registered a domain and sold it same day, some within weeks and months. Some don't sell within one year too. This I decide if I should renew or not. Few weeks ago, I sold digitaltwinai.com for $599. This was a renewed domain in my portfolio because I saw the future potential. Sold it after paying for a renewal of $9.

2. Modes of receiving payment; Dom account, savings or current account. Yes the funds will be sent in dollars but will automatically be converted to Naira once it hits your local bank account at your bank's rates not black market rate. Other alternatives arePayPal and bitcoins.

3. Very easy as there are many new options to this unlike before that it's only PayPal or Domiciliary account.

Do external research on your own if you're in doubt of any of these claims.

Learn different courses not just one. Try domaining too ie learning how to make money buying and selling of expired domain names.

Hello, Not advisable to start with just a domain. Start with at least 5 competitive domains. When you start getting results, you invest more. Don't start with just one. Each costs just $7.88 and you can resell it above $200 - $500 as you can see from some of my sales report. ROI is what you have to focus on, you don't need a big capital to start. .

Yes. But it's a process. Have a side business, another source of income while doing domaining. When you start getting quality sales like 4 figures in a while, you can quit your job if you don't like it. But before that, you need to build a strong portfolio of quality domain names.

Please I need your guide. I have listed most of my portfolios on dan. And now I wish to also list on Sedo too.
But at the moment, the DNS are all point to Dan's name servers at their different registrars.

Do I still need to include sedo's name server on each of my portfolios too?

after listing at Sedo, verify your domains by changing to sedo's name servers for a while. Once they verify your ownership, you can change back to Dan's servers.

World has not crashed. Simply move on and believe in better days ahead. Don't too believe in your certificate. There are many under graduates, drop outs that are self made. Try to employ yourself if you can. That's the best if you ask me. Once there's life, there's always hope. Move on.

Most Nigerian keep falling for this cheap scam. Had a friend who told me about this last year or so. He promoted it claiming of the several benefits. Later I calmly asked him what's name of the company? As a computer man, I need to be sure. He said qnet. OK. I Googled qnet/nairaland. Lol and behold it's not real.

Would have tried to tell him that it's a scam but my man have already paid before informing me. Lol. Moreover he didn't allow me to talk that day. I left him. Today the man is very broke and he never told me about the company again definitely because of shame. I don't have time to ask him too because he don't want to listen that day. Bring two people, two people to bring another two people are all scams.
