but if not,then follow these steps:-
Click on the Start button.

In the Start Menu Search Box type msconfig and press enter on your keyboard.

The System Configuration utility will open

make sure normal startup is the one marked under startup selection

Then Click on the Boot tab.

You will now be at the Boot options screen

UNCHECK the checkbox labeled Safe boot

Press the Apply button and then press the OK button.

You will now be presented with a prompt stating that
you need to reboot the computer to apply the change.

Click on the Restart button to reboot your computer.

You don't get it, i can't even boot past the logon screen. Nd it doesn't even show anything at all

Please i tried to reboot pc into safe mode in other to activate an antivirus, as i rebooted it didn't even show the log on screen it only showed black screen and wen i tap on the screen it only shows SAFE MODE on the four edges. Please how do i get out of this mesz. Help!!!

Thanks sha, i reinstalled my MTK drivers nd it quickly flashed... Tho i had an issue with preloaders.

I think a thread or topic should be created with relevant links to different recovery, boot image, nd preloader of different phones, coz they quickly bring relief to a bricked phone issue instead of links to a whole ROM package which is too big to hv patience for.

Please i was trying to flash a friends tecno h6 using an MTK DROID TOOLS backup i made before, but i forgot the sp flash tool was in format+download mode and the phone's battery was low, so the download failed nd since then after charging the phone has refused to come up. Nd the flash too is not even flashing it again...

What do i do please

If i had my way i'd write a thousand negative reviews on mtn and a thousand petitions against them, cos they have little or no value to customers Nigerians are tired of them, tired of South African Firm exploiting Nigerians in our own country.

The other day i tried making a transfer and my 1000 got hanging, i called and called and it took almost a week before they finally returned it while i was on a call and my call used up part of it. Something i should have subscribed with.

MTN keeps doing us more harm than good, and they even have selected line they promptly attend to.

The earlier they left better networks to serve this country and move else where the better for us

I NEVER said my phone was softbricked or hard bricked or damaged, i ONLY said i want a downgrade. Simple!

Here we care and share ideas to get things done. Instead of putting one into a hassle of trying to get you to reach them or trying to get to you.

Like i posted in one of the threads, i have successfully downgraded my phone with the help of some MTK backup i downloaded.

I get the idea now... since u need cwm recovery to be able to restore ur ROM...

I believe u have the scatter files... download cwm recovery for your device online, then copy it to a folder where u have the scatter files ... open sp flash tools. load scatter files untick every tick box except recovery ... now u have to load the recovery manually.. move your cursor to the front of the front of the recovery.. I.e where u have that text which locate each file to the folder they are... double click on it and locate the folder where u put your cwm recovery.. then it will show there.. then flash only the recovery, now u have cwm recovery now... unplug your phone and boot into recovery mode and restore your back up since u already have it....

after the whole thing, off it and flash the phone stock recovery.. I.e untick all the box except recovery and make sure it is the recovery and not the cwm recovery this time... flash it and you're done...

Thanks for the idea Bro. But sorry, ur idea doesn't work that way, Cwm for kitkat kernel is different from that of Lolipop. So to all of you out there facing d same issue, please don't u ever try it, coz u must not be as lucky as I was wen I tried it. It will render ur recovery useless and end u in a bootloop

I finally downgraded. HOW.??
I downloaded stock rom from hovatekk and flashed with SP tool, then I later flashed the Cwm for kitkat. And thereafter did a factory wipe and cache wipe and I am now back.

Please note that pureview is a phonecamera, just like Samsung's Kzoom.. See the lenses and flash just like u see on digital camera so u are expecting your 26k to out perform that..
There are Good MTK in HTC one M9+ but I tell no difference with C8 when zooms..
Since I saw the picture quality on m9+, and I saw a friends simple digital camera, I concluded phone are not for photographs or videos,
Just to remember moments.. That's all..
Get your self a camera if you really like pictures..

My friend keep ur mout if u dont know what to say MTK Phones generaly have poor cameras, and i have confirmed that various phones have better camera tan that of most digital cameras of about 30k

Did I not say this before? You don't have to be a camera nerd to observe that the Camon c8 camera is poor. So so overhyped. I own this phone and I know what am saying

that phone had a lot of advert even on billboards asif it were to compare with Nokia 808 pureview.
I'm on Infinix Hot note for now and its better in camera. sadly, Tecno, Infinix nd iTel are all d same. And this will be my last MTK phone. they are just so faked and f**ked

If you like pictures go buy digital camera 25k to 30k will get you one


All camera on phones are the same due to their lenses
U cannot compare a digital camera with 2MP, not to talk if professinal camera...to any of the above phones, when you zoom the picture..

Have u seen the samsung Kzoom pictures. You will understand what I mean..

Phone is phone but young man, I'm telling you some phone has got cameras that are better than Digital cameras. talk of Z30, galaxy Note2, Note3, Motorola Droid razr HD. there are just many Android gadgets that have Cameras that make a mouth say wow

the point is that MTK phones are merely consolation gadgets for people who can't spend much on a good phone.
They advertise cameras on phone screen, let them advertise them on computer screen or better put it on zoom nd stop deceiving people.

ADVICE: When buying MTK phones next time, one should buy for sake of battery, processor and maybe RAM nd NOT for their cameras, no matter what adverts they put. I talk out of Experience, cuz I've used good Original nd Well respected Manufacturers made phone as well as MTK I've seen the Great difference. they are NO match

Well if you are into graphic designing u will bliv with me that when u zoom on a pic taken with Camon Camera, its nothing different from that of Hot Note, it will show you tiny fragments of the photo, an evidence of poor resolution/Low DPI.

Do the same Zoom on A pic taken with Motorola Droid razr or samsung Note 1,2,3 or blackberry z10, z30 which are all 8megapixels and you'll see they are even.better

For the auto-downloading thing, go to google playstore and turn it off. If you are using any app like battery doctor...check the profile you are currently using... If Wi-Fi is on, just turn it off and do same to data.

Abeg which custom ROM am I seeing there @the Screenshots, or is it mere Gravity Box tweaks?

OK if u have Phil recovery can u restore back? If yes then download the kitkat stock rom and unzip into a folder.. Create it like this SD card /clockworkmod/backup.... Unzip it into the backup folder.. Then boot into recovery and restore backup... See if it will help

I have done that but it seemz Philz recovery is for Lolipop nd is not compatible with older System backups except for Lolipop backup
