Navy Seal who Killed Osama Bin Laden revealed
Despite fears he may be attacked, the Navy
SEAL who shot Osama bin Laden dead in the
special force’s most famous operation can be
named today.
The Navy hero agreed to be interviewed on a
Fox News special next week called ‘The Man
Who Killed Osama bin Laden. In it he will talk
of his training, and detail the mission to take
out the al Qaeda leader.
MailOnline has established that he is Rob
O’Neill, a highly-decorated veteran who quit
after 16 years service.O’Neill’s decision to
speak out was prompted by losing some of his
military benefits by quitting the SEALs after 16
years rather than staying for a full 20 years of
service. However his decision to speak is at the
center of huge controversy.
Bin Laden in his hideout
In an exclusive interview Rob’s father, Tom
O’Neill, tells MailOnline….
He is not allowed to talk, yet they are
using this big bullhorn to shut him up,’I
support him in everything he is
doing,’What are you supposed to do when
you come out of the military after such
service — become a greeter at Walmart?’
‘People are asking if we are worried that
ISIS will come and get us because Rob is
going public. I say I’ll paint a big target on
my front door and say come and get
us.My ex-wife gave birth to a man. We
shouldn’t be cowering in fear.’
Rob O’Neill, 38, is a former member of SEAL
Team Six who has been portrayed on screen in
Zero Dark Thirty, Captain Phillips and Lone
Survivor. He is one of the most distinguished
members ever of the elite force – but now
faces being frozen out of its circles for
revealing its most closely-held secrets.
O’Neill was personally congratulated for killing
bin Laden – in his account at close range with
three shots to his forehead – during the SEAL
raid on Abbottobad, in Pakistan, on 2 May
2011.
O’Neill’s father says he cannot understand the
fuss.
The house he was killed
For O’Neill, the threat is a devastating fall
from a position as a national — if unknown —
hero.
Although he had previously been interviewed
about the shooting of bin Laden, he remained
entirely discreet about his role. However being
an unsung hero was not enough.
But deciding to speak publicly may surprise
some. In the Esquire interview his wife spoke
about her concerns over a retaliatory attack.
‘Personally I feel more threatened by a
potential retaliatory terror attack on our
community than I did eight years ago,’ his
wife said in 2013.
At the time the couple were estranged. Their
marital status is now unclear.
‘We’re actually looking into changing my
name,’ his wife.Changing the kids’ names,
taking my husband’s name off the house,
paying off our cars. Essentially deleting
him from our lives, but for safety reasons.
We still love each other.’
O’Neill also described how he had instructed
his wife in how to protect their children, and
jep a ‘blot bag’ ready in case they had to flee
at any time.

Nairaland / General / How Criticized Human Barbie Was Almost Killed At Her Door Step by jesusjewel1(f): 8:40am On Nov 06, 2014
Ukrainian model, Valeria Lukyanova, 28,
whom a lot of people call human Barbie
because of her doll-like look has narrated
how two men almost snuff life out of her
while trying to get into her apartment four
days ago.
According to Valeria, she has been
receiving hate threats for the past two
years. Though she claims she never had
surgeries to look like a Barbie, she
admitted to have had a breast enlargement
surgery in the past. Below is how she
narrated her ordeal in the hands of the
men she claims were clearly after her life
and not to rob her.
‘I came back home from a shop with bags
and entered the door code when two men
rushed from the dark and attacked me.
They said nothing and did not try to rob
me. It happened in a flash, they hit me on
the head, several times on my jaw, then
one of them began strangling me.
If it wasn’t for my neighbour who
suddenly appeared, I don’t know what
would have happened. They saw her and
ran away. I feel a little better, but my jaw
is still hurting badly.I have been on the
strongest pain killer for four days, but still
woke in the middle of the night from
horrible pains,’ she said.

Nairaland / General / 26 Die In Lagos-kwara Auto-accident by jesusjewel1(f): 8:22am On Nov 06, 2014
At least 26 people lost their lives in
separate auto accidents in Lagos and Kwara
states on Monday night, PUNCH Metro has
learnt.
It was learnt that while about 20 people
lost their lives in a tanker fire in the Moro
Local Government Area of Kwara State, five
others were burnt to death when a
runaway truck driver collided with three
vehicles including two stationary tankers in
the Igando area of Lagos.
Although some of the residents who
witnessed the Kwara accident told
journalists on Tuesday that the figure of
dead victims may be more than 20, the
Kwara State Sector Commander of the
Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr. Mary
Wakawa, said only four people died while
four victims sustained injuries and were
being treated at a hospital.
Our correspondents learnt that the fire was
caused by an accident involving a tanker
laden with petrol.
An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity said
the accident occurred around 9.30pm on
Monday when the truck fell while trying to
negotiate a bad portion of the road.
He stated that the truck later burst into
flames. He added that the petrol conveyed
by the tanker poured out and spread to
nearby houses.
According to him, the fire raged for many
hours and destroyed houses, shops and
property valued at millions of naira.
The FRSC commander confirmed that the
accident and the resultant inferno
happened around 9.30pm on Monday.
She added that FRSC officials rushed to the
scene as soon as they were alerted.
“Monday night, a tanker caught fire
at Bode Saadu at about 9.30pm. Eight
people were involved, four of them died
and four sustained serious injuries. It was
a lone accident and we have been there
since Monday night. The fire
was still on as of Tuesday morning, but it
had been doused. We have sent out our
men to the site to clear the road for
traffic,” she said.
The Public Relations Officer of the
University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Mr.
Hassan Kadiri, said four of the injured
victims had been brought to the hospital as
of the time of filing this report.
He added that they suffered about 85
degree burns and had already been
transferred to different clinics after initial
treatments at UITH’s Accident and
Emergency Unit.
Kadiri, however, said the number of
injured victims could be higher than four
as there were victims who had yet to be
transferred to UITH from the accident
scene.
He added that the Commissioner for
Health, Mr. Kayode Issa, saw the injured
victims and pledged on behalf of the
government to take care of their bills.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the corpses had
been deposited at the UITH mortuary.
Meanwhile, at least five people were burnt
beyond recognition after a truck rammed
into stationary vehicles and burst into
flames in the Igando area of Lagos.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the fatal collision
occurred at about 10pm near General Bus
stop, Isheri-Igando Road, Igando, Lagos.
Eyewitnesses reported that five burnt
bodies – all said to be males – were
recovered from the scene by officials of
the Lagos State Emergency Management
Agency.
It was also learnt that policemen attached
to the Igando and Isheri divisions later
came to the scene to try to put the
situation under control.

Thelma Mupatsi is a 19 year old
accounting student of Chinhoyi University
of Technology (CUT), who got pregnant
because she couldn’t protect herself, she
recently gave birth to her baby and
allegedly killed her newly-born baby and
hid the foetus in a suitcase.
She was caught but was not asked to plead
to the infanticide charge when she
appeared before Chinhoyi magistrate
Singadu Jele.
Thelma is a first year accounting student,
and has been was remanded on free bail
after she told the court that she could not
raise any bail money.
The baby was delivered on October 30th
inside her campus hostel and drowned the
baby in a bucket of water before hiding
the body in her suitcase.
There were also reports that she actually
burnt the baby to death with hot water
before stashing the foetus in a suitcase.
The issue came to light when her
roommate, one of the five State witnesses,
who was aware that Mupatsi was pregnant
discovered some blood traces near the
suitcase.

Family / HORROR: Policeman Crushes Wife, kills Their Baby In Lagos (photo) by jesusjewel1(f): 5:50pm On Nov 04, 2014
Like a scene from a horror movie, a police
corporal, Lucky Ikharia, allegedly used a bus to
crush the legs of his wife, Dupe on the 30th of
October in Lagos.
Having left her for dead, Lucky then went
home where he allegedly stabbed his baby,
David, to death, ripping out the toddler’s
intestines. Still in a rage, the policeman turned
the knife on himself in an attempt to take his
own life.
PUNCH reports that the incident occurred at
the family’s rented apartment in Kale Close,
Mafoluku, Oshodi last week. Lucky and his wife
survived but both are currently in critical
conditions.
Four days prior to the incident, 34-year-old
Lucky, who hails from Sabon Gida Ora, Edo
State, had a quarrel with his wife, Dupe over
N2,000, after which he reportedly sent her
packing. The policeman,
who is attached to the Makinde Police
Division, Oshodi, Lagos had also ‘seized’ their
only child from Dupe as a means of ‘punishing’
her.
Around 8pm on the day of the attack, Dupe, a
30-year-old indigene of Abeokuta, Ogun State,
was heading for her mother’s house in Mushin
unknown to her that Lucky was waiting in a bus
to attack her. It was learnt that on getting to
Olorunshogo junction, Lucky pursued his wife
with the bus, crushing her legs in the process.
Leaving her for dead, Lucky was said to have
fled the scene while passersby initially thought
the attack was random.
However, after Dupe was rushed to a nearby
hospital on same evening for treatment and
had regained consciousness the following
morning, she explained that the man who
drove the bus which crushed her legs was her
own husband.
Unknown to Dupe, after her husband attacked
her, he reportedly drove back to their
apartment where he stabbed their child, David,
in the belly, before fleeing the residence.
Lucky’s co-tenants and Dupe’s relatives who
discovered the baby’s corpse on Friday
morning, reported the incident at the Akinpelu
Police Division. It was also gathered that the
knife and the bus had both been recovered.
When PUNCH Metro visited the hospital where
Dupe was receiving treatment on Monday, the
woman, who could hardly speak. She said the
cause of the fight was a sum of N2000 which
Lucky claimed she stole.
She said:
“We got married and started living together
around October 2013. We usually had quarrels
and that was not the first time he would beat
me up, and send me out of the house. But this
incident started on Sunday, October 26.
Lucky had initially kept N15,000 with me.
Then, on Sunday, he collected N5, 000 to
repair the bus. Later I gave him the rest, only
to realise it was N8, 000. So, he began to
question where I kept the remaining N2000.
But I knew that it was his nature to stir up
trouble because he had a habit of keeping
money with me and going again to take it.
So, we began to fight, and he asked me to
leave the house. He did not allow me to take
the child with me that day. I was sleeping in
friends’ places until Thursday when I decided
to go back home. I did not find my baby, and
when I asked him, he threatened that if he met
me in the house by evening, he would kill me,
kill the baby and himself.”
Dupe said she was then called by her mother
to come to their family house in Mushin,
adding that as she got on her way, and was at
the Olorunshogo junction, a commercial bus
swerved to her path and hit her several times.
She said:
“The commercial bus was his bus. He was the
only man inside. He hit me and I fell. Then he
reversed and came over my legs again. I lost
consciousness. That was the last thing I knew.”
PUNCH learnt from one of the nurses that
Dupe might be admitted in the hospital for
about two months and might spend over
N600,000 for treatment owing to the severity
of the attack.
One of Dupe’s relatives, Mr. Segun Akiode, said
the family had yet to inform Dupe of her son’s
death. He added that the family also did not
know Lucky’s whereabouts. He said:
“I was called on the phone on Thursday
evening that my sister was knocked down at
Olorunshogo junction. When I got there, I met
her in a pool of blood. So, we rushed her to a
hospital. It was already around 9.30pm.
On Friday, when we went to their apartment,
we found the baby boy, stabbed in the belly
and already dead on the floor. We have not
told Dupe about his death yet. So, we went to
report at the Akinpelu Police Division, and we
were asked to describe the bus which hit Dupe.
When we did, they said the bus was with them
in the station, but the whereabouts of Lucky
were still unknown.”
When PUNCH got to the couple’s rented
apartment in Kale Close, Mafoluku, it was
learnt from neighbours that Lucky had not
been seen at home since the day of incident.
At the Makinde Division, a police source said
the suspect was one of the patrol van drivers,
but he had not come to work since the day of
the incident.
The source added that Lucky, who was believed
to have also stabbed himself, was in an
undisclosed hospital receiving treatment.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer,
DSP Kenneth Nwosu, when contacted promised
to get back on the matter, but he had yet to
do so as of press time. Meanwhile, PUNCH
Metro learnt that the corpse of the baby had
been deposited at a morgue in Yaba, Lagos.
