No the score is working with writing bumped up to a 7 (sorry i didn't mention). trying to cut out necessary bills and delays for now. Hence i want us to avoid paying for ECA now. Do you presume we will need it in the future?

I have already paid for a new exam and also for remark. fingers crossed.
The school is UCE. Something about archiving records (strange). For my school, it was an online request and took just a couple of minutes ti mail out.

Its obvious i will have to wait for new scores before i can enter the pool right?

Please what was you score when you got your first ITA? mine is currently as low as 365 with writing on 6.

Instead of retaking it, you should have just requested for remarking alone and save yourself some money. My sister's writing score was changed from 6 to 7. 99% of time (based on feedback on this thread), people get their scores upgraded.
1. I will still give the same answer: NO. My husby did not do ECA at all. In fact, our 1st ITA was without his IELTS as he had not written IELTS when we got it. So, it depends on your score. As you stated that you can get 448 without his ECA, then you are good to go.
2. Yes, I selected none but I put the his MSc and BSc details under personal history.

Which school in UK is messing up? How is he going about the transcripts? This is strange cos my UK transcripts cost me about £25 and it was dispatched less than 2 hours after I placed the order online on the Uni's website.

1. UK PCC is very straightforward. Check this link and follow the instructions on how to go about it. https://www.acro.police.uk/police_certificates.aspx
2. There is no format, just ensure the letter is written on a letter-headed paper and contains the following info: job title, job start date, detailed duties and responsibilities, no of working hours per week, annual salary and contract type.
3. Why will you say the level of cooperation is lacking among Nigerians? I believe this is wrong as a lot of people spend quality time on this thread answering other people questions without anything to gain. With regard to creating step by step instructions, there are several existing blogs with step by step instructions. One just has to google it to get the required information. The main issue is that a lot of people cannot be bothered to search for information. Even when the info was posted a page away, they will still ask the same question.

This journey eh! I just put head and trusting God it will be fruitful. Please I have question:

Again I had taken IELTS L8.5, S7.5, R7, W6. Sadly W gave it to me. I have paid for retake adnd also Remark of the old scores (can't sleep not knowing what happened to the W score). WES is currently processing my ECA adnd my spouce and I are takinf IELTS ina cuple of weeks time. Hopefully heavens will open for me.
my question is,
1. does my spouse have to do ECA for the credentials? I know the answer has been provided here as 'no' depending on my CRS.
2. Another question I have is, if 'no' what do i fill for spouse education level when checking my score on the CRS? do i leave it blank (select) or select none, less than secondary school?

I checked the CRS without ECA (ie left it as select) and got (see below):

Subtotal Core/Human capital + Spouse factors + Skill transferability = 448

Additional points = 0

Grand total = 448

i ask all these Cos his school in England is messing up for transcript adn we can save the money for ECA. What do you advice?

Yes all documents can be in one envelope. Say you need to include your certificate and the school can do that for you. I have done this is the past.

Hello peeps. Just to reconfirm. I am using WES for my ECA for 2 degrees in the same school. Below are my questions:
1. Can both degrees transcript be in a single envelope rather than individual envelopes.? Would WES accept this?
2. Is the photocopy of my certificates the only documents that I would send to WES while the school send the transcript?

Yes it does. i did send am email to the 4 provinces adn they responded saying that its for employers that have poeple they want to employ. this gives them room to apply for PR for the employees without inhibition.

I used ieltsadvantage.com. It has a detailed explanation of both essays you're gonna write. How to paragraph, what each paragraph should contain and a lot of other info. You can additionally just search for ielts writing on YouTube, you'd get a wealth of info on there as well. Try bumping up your reading to 8 too while you're at it, increases your score enormously.

Thanks alot Temitope. I will try my best. However, I am confident the marking for the writing was biased hence I am still apply for re-mark since it's just 15k which will be refunded if my score changes anyway.

IQAS is cheaper and faster though.

You can indicate that he won't be accompanying you but he will still need to do medicals and get his PCC. Also, your POF will be for a family of four.

By the way, he does not have to leave immediately after getting PPR na. He can still stay in Naija for 3 years, which should be enough for him to decide whether he wants to move to Canada or not. He will however have to land sha but he can can come back to Naija immediately after landing.

You guys are pretty neck n neck in education and work experience, you need just 3 years work exp. Ur IELTS scores will pretty much determine who is PA. She's a year younger, she might have higher scores based on that but see ur ielts results first, that will determine. Aim for L8.5, R8, S and W 7.5. The person with closest score to this wins the PA race. YouTube is ur best friend for ielts along with ieltsliz, ieltsadvantage and the materials from British Council and I can't emphasize this enough, PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE.

NOC is not required to be related to Education.

Pls who here has requested a remarking of their IELTS score and got an upgrade?I attempted my 2nd IELTS on February 11th and the scores were L8.5 R.8 S 7.5 W6.5 ,which pushed my points CRS from 409 to 420.However i believe if i request for my Wriiting to be re-marked i will get a 7.I also dont understand why the eaminers keep grading Writing low.

Secondly,how long should POF funds be in my account before submitting the statememt?i reckon my dad or uncle will be able to gift me 2 million naira AFTER i have gotten the ITA,hence submitting POF of approx 3 months statement.

Hi Ray. Your CRS is fine. I had a 6 in my written on same day and it plumeted my CRS. Sadly.

If you are very confident about your Writing and you have about 15k to spare, then you can apply for a remark. You can confirm the current information on the British Council/IELTS website.

However, from what I have seen and read so far, most remarks then to give additional 0.5 at best.

So check the CRS Tool and see if an additional 0.5 to your Writing score will add to your CRS score. If otherwise, please retake the test and focus more on your weaker parts. All the best.

Hi team my IELTS result came out today and I am disappointed. SLWR 7.5,8.5,6,7. The writing dropped my score. Apparently it's one of the subjective ones. Don't know what to do? I would have been on CRS of 448 if I had 7 in writing. Please do you think I should apply for remark?

its about 230 CAD and the transcript should be sent from the school, but some schools hand over the transcript to the student so long as the seal is not tampered with then you are ok. the fax is like sending emails but this si to a phone number , its free, but with limited pages per fax . when they are through they would send u your document via mail. i suggest you got to their website www.iaqs.com and get better and accurate info of how it works.is

Yes, your brother and or any other person can give you a gift deed. Its not limited to parent or anyone.

Please how long is a gift deed expected to stay in the account prior to application? Is one allowed to have more than one gift deed?

1500 cad, that money has weight o. I have been in the pool since january and i aslo put Ontario as one of my provinces but no mail from them yet. If they send me a mail, i don't even know what to do as i dont have the 1500 cad. My ielts result is out first week of march, I am really praying to God. Please I need y'alls prayers. You do not need the police report until you have received ITA... However, he would have to also get the police report cos it's a requirement for both of you post ITA.

Check your score without his ECA and if it's reasonably high, you do not need to get an ECA done for him, if not, it's advisable you do so you can earn extra points.

You can evaluate your Masters degrees alone...

I am the PA and my husband and I lived in England at some points in our lives (then single). Does he have to get a police report as well?

Also does he need and ECA? If yes why? If yes also, can we get ECA for just his masters programs ? I don't know how to get Uni Ibadan's transcript in his absence.

This is not clear at the moment. The point is, I livend in England during my master's program but u cutrentkyive in Nigeria. Which means that current address is Nigeria bi don't have any old bill quoting my address while in England based on this how do you advice I proceed with the police report?.

They need a proof of your current address, and its the address you provide they'll put on your police certificate.

Very straight forward...I used 2 bank statements as proof of address, paid wt my Gtb naira MasterCard(18k) and got it in 1week. Did Ijebu, didn't want to pay for courier, so i chose for it to be sent to a friend's addy in UK, she scanned and sent to me, and has sent d hardcopy via regular mail.

This is interesting. What of a situation where the bank address has changed? Meaning your statement is not in the same address?

Woooooow I still cant believe it In 2 months and 8 days after acknwoldegment of receipt I got my confirmation of permanent residence and the visa....
