UNIPORT DELAY IN RELEASING GRAGUATING LIST OF 2019/2020 ACADEMIC SESSION (Physics department)

Hello Nairalanders.
I bring to your notice issues bordering on the untold hardship Uniport, Physics department is bringing upon us.

After defending our projects and final exams in the 2019/2020 academic session, four years down the line, the physics department of Uniport headed by Dr. Chad Umoren as the then HOD is yet to release our results and graduating list.

Years after graduation and celebration of our convocation, we cannot move forward or make meaningful progress but rather stagnant and overwhelmed by depression, helplessness and suicide.

After much pressure from student and parents, the only excuse that was given by the department was that the laptop crashed and our exam records cannot be retrieved so they are working on it.

We cannot apply for jobs or be gainfully employed due to not being mobilized for NYSC. Many of us has missed life changing opportunities due to this challenge. Many of us are roaming the streets, many are even depressed. I mean, how do we explain to our parents, sponsors, neighbors well-wishers and even naysayers that we actually fulfilled all academic requirements from the University of Port Harcourt?

Many of our struggling and ailing parents, who, amidst the hardship managed to sponsor us, who wished to see their children graduate have died in their hopelessness.

We fear that if this issue lingers further beyond these four years already wasted in this difficult country and challenging economy, more students will/may commit suicide as there seems to be no hope in sight.

We are using this medium to pray and call on the following:

*The Minister of Education.
*The Senate committee on education.
*The Honorable House and Committee members on education
*Rivers State commissioner of education
*The NUC
Including relevant Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies, and other well meaning Nigerians to use their most revered office to intervene immediately and prevail on this lingering issue which has taken years by requesting the vice Chancellor, university of Port Harcourt to intervene immediately and engage Uniport Physics department to resolve this matter as soon as possible in the interest of our future.

Please, we are begging the government and well meaning Nigerians to come to our aid.

When will Springlife Assurance begin to return investors money?

When is Spring Bank Assurance. An associate of Now Heritage Bank going to pay our insurance policy money?


After paying insurance money, Spring Bank ran away with insurers money without paying claims.

SPRING LIFE ASSURANCE (Insurance), a then subsidiary of Spring bank, Now HERITAGE BANK, scammed me of my insurance benefits by running away with policy holders money.

Up until now they are still in hiding with investor money since 2009.

SpringLife Assurance PLC, a subsidiary of then Spring Bank, now Heritage bank, is the biggest scam of all. Defrauded millions of people of their insurance deposit and disappeared into tin air.

Although, I charged my phone overnight at my neighbor's who brought it to me this morning.

This was exactly what I told her to do before we lost contact. There was many voices in the background and she was crying probably her Boss is now aware. I could hear people speaking Igbo language a d pidgin English in the background too.

Good afternoon House.

Someone told my sister that there was a connection for a sales rep. Job in UAE, since she's yet to get a job after her NYSC, (you know how tough Nigeria is now. But it will require her to pay some money for her visa, flight ticket and other necessary documents, but my sister told her that she currently don't have money to process any international papers.

After much discussion this lady told my sister not to worry that all documentations including flight ticket will be paid for her but on a commission fee when she arrived her destination and upon resuming work in UAE, a percentage of her salary will be remitted to them until she pays up the debt incurred.

This was two months ago precisely August. Now fast forward to yesterday 3rd November 2021, I got a WhatsApp message from my sister telling me that she was being forced into prostitution upon arriving and not the sales job as was agreed.

I told her to find a way to come back to Nigeria since she has a return ticket that will expire in 4 days time valid till 8th November 2021.

Now the issue is:
1. Her Boss, as she called her earlier took her passport upon arrival in the pretense that she may misplace it or it may get stolen.

2. Her boss insisted on her paying all the debt incurred in processing her peppers which is 125% extra on what she spent in bringing her to Dubai, which amounts to N3.5 million Naira.

Please is there a way she can return back without her international passport since she went there legally and her return ticket is still valid.

Please we need help as during this altercation since yesterday, I cannot communicate with her as her Boss has seized her phone. It's now a matter of life and death.

i need direction on how to recover my money. I graduated in 2007 and got a job in one of the leading oil companies in Nigeria. To save for my future, i decided to invest in SPRING LIFE ASSURANCE, an insurance firm with the defunct SPRING BANK cum Heritage Bank. I did a plan called DIAP, it is a long time plan that allowed me save twenty thousand naira (N20,000.00) monthly over a fifteen year period. When NAICOM first suspended there license over liquidity, i informed my insurance officer who then assured me that it has been resolved. When the problem persists and SPRING LIFE ASSURANCE was to be sold to new buyers, i quickly terminated my contract policy with them. Three years later i was called by one of their agents to sign a discharge voucher worth five hundred thousand naira(N500,000.00) this was in 2013, now three years now i have been trying to reach them to no avail. Now All the mobile number i have been calling said they no longer work there as the insurance company is completely out of business. Please anyone with useful information on how to recover my money any means necessary will be appreciated. I am also using this medium to appeal to the relevant authorities to intervene to ensure our monies are fully recovered. Please help me and others facing the same challenge. Please only those with useful information.
