hilaomo:
felt so disturbed after a family friend uttered these words to me "you seem so un-serious about this present opening i discussed with you hills"...reason being the fact that my mind has being structured towards applying to fields which share slight connection to the course i studied in school(MATHEMATICS).so i'd like to find out(from the few working class folks whose got a successful career amongst us) how you attained your present position considering the following options:

1)Sticking strictly to openings that are related to your course of study.
2)Applying to whichever opening comes your way.

help a brother before my refusal to apply to some becomes a latter regret.

Sup bro I just saw this thread and I was curious as to what later worked out for you. I am presently kinda in this sort of situation and I think that knowing what happened and 'all would motivate me and probably other that reads this thread latter.

Thanks

Nigerians cancel trips to America and Europe over Ebola?? You're kidding right? Or is this some sort of news satire?

If it's real then I doubt if these people seriously have visas to the listed countries.

So, because you do not have a visa to USA means that nobody does. SMH

dhtmlx2: Why do Nigerian applications and software products all look so so and so low-budget. I am just speaking in general.
Application developers need to work hard to standardize their stuffs to an acceptable level first. In naija, I observe that most people just want to be in a hurry to push out their products.
I honestly don't like it when I see posts like this. I really do not know why.
This guy is probably someone that is very new to android and shouldnt make you generalize on shit.

Programming / Re: Biggining Mobile Development With Java? How To? by Kennyinusa(m): 11:59pm On Aug 05, 2014
For me i develop Android and windows phone.
I use Java for android and C# for the windows phone.
Meanwhile you can develop cross platform apps using stuffs like HTML/CSS and JS. But i would advice that you stay off those coast at least for now and develop from a more native centric perspective.

To develop for Android, you need to understand the Java Programming language and a lil bit of XML. I would suggest you lookup w3school for head start on XML
The IDE that i use is Eclipse and you can also use Intell J Community edition and Android studio(based on IntellJ).
If you are into continious development, version control or stuffs like that, i would suggest you stick with IntellJ else try Eclipse it is easy to use.

To develop for windows phone from a native centric perspective, you need to understand C# or VB though an understanding of C++ can be handy depending on what you want to achieve.

To develop for iOS you need XCode (IDE), Mac OS (PC), Objective C (Language).

So create a learning curve around this and i believe that the sky is the limit.

And please for God sake get latest materials and Latest IDEs they would help you better.
Get VS2013 for your VB
Thank you
