The heading should be APPLICATION FOR SUBMISSION AND RECOGNITION OF MY TRCN CERTIFICATE no special celebration, even the approval is not needed at this stage. Once you have your TRCN certificate that mean you are a certified teacher and professional teacher.

No interview or screening is needed at this stage, only your application letter, and attached photocopy of your TRCN are needed. In your application remember to include your staff ID card number, and computer number.

Direction: As you enter the PPSB compound facing the main building, then move to the building at the right hand side, climb the upstair, ask any staff, he/she will direct you where to submit it.

The application can be both handwritten or typed. Mine was handwritten.

To collect your TRCN certificate: if you have your PGDE or any other qualification in education, register for TRCN exam, write and pass the exam.
When the result comes out, you will pay a certain amount to apply for your certificate, it usually take some months to come out. Maybe 4 to 8 months, better still, you can follow it up by calling their state coordinator.

The truth of the matter is that what the Zonal Accounts Supervisor gives to Principals to sign is a copy of the nominal roll/salary voucher of the previous month. That's what I learnt in school yesterday when we heard that it was old salary voucher that our Principal signed. We were told that once the new promotion salary is paid, Ministry of Finance will send a copy of the new salary voucher to the Accounts Department of our Board and they will in turn send a copy to the Zonal Accounts Supervisors to be signed by Principals. I hope this calms down some nerves.

Yes, principal did prepare this month own with the old nominal roll BUT they were ask to come to the board to the new one prepare by the boards with the new salary.
Yes again to thr fact that its finance that will send a copy to the board and then board to principal,after payment.

I called someone who is a top civil servant this evening. He said that until we are given the promotion letter, it's assumed that we have not been promoted. He said he has not even gotten. That within the ministry only few persons has gotten. That what happened why Wike didn't pay us was that, the *current governor Sim, went and meet with Wike, begging him to allow the effective date of the promotion to be from April, Wike got angry and said it is him (Sim) that will pay it in his government.* That was why it was moved to Sim administration. I felt there is a truth in his response. I don comot my mind fully on this new salary until I see alert. Pls this is only a conversation but I still believe God can do something good.

The take away point here for me: Sim wanted it DONE but was handicap as "governor-elect".
Then, he was told to pay it in his administration.
Now, he(Sim) is the governor, since he has the psyment at heart, he can pay it, as he deem fit now.
Now is the time .
I concur with they can't be selective payment.

They ask all those that apply to report at the board HQ for screening/interview. They attend to some persons on day 1, dispatch the rest and ask them to return the next day.
From then, it's VOILA!!!

Yes, UBE have issue appointment letter to the successful candidates yesterday.
Don't worry, they did not and will not meet in level 8.
Except you did not partake in the promotion exercise. If you do, be rest assured that your level has changed.
They await posting, which in my opinion may come on resumption BUT don't take my opinion to the bank.

thanks, if you are done with phd, your dept can recommend you to the school and if there's an opportunity and with plenty prayer you'll be issued an appointment letter as well as a transfer of service later. I was fortunate, my dept recommended me for a position.

If you are asking whether the issuance of promotion letter has began, the answer is yes!
If you are asking if ministry of education, I don't think.
But if, it's wether sssb have started issuance of same letters, the answer is NO.
In addition, teejaymmm post earlier, I think I for ministry of Justice to begin today.
While we await his update, let's remain hopeful with faith.
Don't forget that sssb have a new acting board, whose statutory powers may be limited (case of Osuosa n Briggs, comes to mind)
